Chapter 196 A New Trick

Rong Yan swayed limply on the yoga hammock, not understanding why Fu Jingsheng was doing this.

Fu Jingsheng knelt down and adjusted the hammock to a suitable height. He used both hands to hold the gauze wrapped around the woman, Rong Yan was tightly wrapped.

Did Fu Jingsheng intend to approach from behind like this?

Rong Yan turned her head: "Fu Jingsheng, this posture looks like a pig tied up and waiting to be slaughtered."

Fu Jingsheng: ...

This was something he had just learned, but Rong Yan's words instantly ruined the mood. He loosened the rope, and the woman fell onto the bed unexpectedly, bouncing up a few centimeters.

Ah! Rong Yan hurt her hip from the fall.

Fu Jingsheng quickly reached out and rubbed it, pouting as he said, "I wanted to show off the new tricks I came up with while I was living alone these past few days, but it turns out you don't like them at all."

The man kept his head down.

Rong Yan cupped his face in her hands and said, "I like the regular kind very much, shall we continue?" She rubbed her toes against the man's calf.

Fu Jingsheng pulled his legs back, turned over, and faced upwards: "Come on, turn your back."

Before Rong Yan could even process what he meant, the man had already grabbed her waist and lifted her up, placing her firmly on his lap. She faced the dressing table, her back to Fu Jingsheng.

The man moved slowly until he was intimately joined with his wife.

"It hurts!" Rong Yan bent over and lay forward.

Fu Jingsheng reduced the intensity of his movements, supporting Rong Yan with his hands to prevent her from sitting entirely on him. The pain gradually subsided, and the woman let out sounds of pleasure.

Shen Xingzhi sent several messages, but Rong Yan didn't reply. She didn't know that her best friend had already returned to Yushui Bay.

So he dialed Rong Yan's number, and the woman lazily said "hello".

Shen Xingzhi breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Are you there? I was worried because you didn't reply to my message."

Rong Yan picked up her phone and looked at it, only to find more than a dozen unread messages. She explained where they were and mentioned that she had arranged to have lunch with her best friend the next day.

At Shen Xingzhi's house, Yu Wenhao saw his girlfriend pacing anxiously in the house after he got home from get off work. Finally, he saw her smiling face.

Yu Wenhao moved a stool for his girlfriend, who was standing on the balcony making a phone call.

Shen Xingzhi sat against the wall and chatted with Rong Yan for more than ten minutes.

The call finally ended, and Yu Wenhao patted his girlfriend's shoulder and asked, "Are you alright?"

Shen Xingzhi leaned her head against her boyfriend: "It's okay, it's good that everyone is alright. It's just that she said the problem with the counterfeit goods at Fu's has been resolved, but the problem with Songshan Clinic hasn't been resolved yet."

"Let me check the website." Shen Xingzhi logged in and glanced at it, then jumped up and bumped her head on Yu Wenhao's chin.

[Families of victims at Songshan Clinic have formed a victims' alliance, which is growing in number.]

Shen Xingzhi couldn't stand it any longer and called Rong Yan again. The woman, her eyelids still heavy with sleep, asked through speakerphone what was wrong. Shen Xingzhi read the news aloud, and Rong Yan's eyes widened.

"What? A victims' alliance? And the number keeps increasing?" Rong Yan asked several questions. The clinic had already closed to investigate the truth, yet there were still people who were not afraid of death and continued to spread rumors?

She called her PR team to try and get the news removed.

Rong Yan barely slept that night. She stayed up until dawn, drank a strong Americano, and went to a coffee shop to find Ye Jianming. After finding out which media outlet had published the news, Rong Yan prepared to visit them.

But when she called to make an appointment, the media representative immediately replied that they didn't have time as soon as they heard her name.

Shen Xingzhi went back to the clinic to check the records and found that the so-called new members of the alliance were actually patients they had treated, which made things more complicated.

At noon, she met with Rong Yan. Since the media representative refused to meet, she decided to meet with the patient first.

Rong Yan picked a patient whose contact address was filled in on the form, bought some things, and went to the patient's home with Shen Xingzhi.

Fu Jingsheng wanted to accompany her, but Rong Yan stopped him. However, the man was worried about his wife and secretly followed her.

Tiancheng Lotus Village.

Rong Yan parked her car outside the village, and she and Shen Xingzhi, carrying a lot of things, went into the village and found a patient's house according to the house number.

An elderly woman was eating at the door. When she saw the unfamiliar woman, she looked up slightly, assuming that someone had a guest.

Rong Yan stopped in front of her after looking at the house number on the wall and asked, "Hello, is this Li Jie's house?"

The old man pointed to his ears and said in a local accent, "My hearing is bad, I can't hear clearly."

Shen Xingzhi leaned down and repeated it in the old man's ear.

The old man nodded: "Yes, you're looking for Xiaojie?"

Rong Yan looked into the house, trying to find someone who would be easier to communicate with, but no one came out for a long time.

"Xiaojie isn't home, she's in the city. What happened to her?" The old man looked at the guests in front of him, who also seemed to be from the city, and assumed that something had happened to his granddaughter.

She moved some stools for Rong Yan and the others to sit down. Rong Yan had to call out until she was hoarse before she realized that this was Li Jie's hometown. Only her grandmother lived there. Li Jie and her parents lived in the city, and her grandmother obviously knew nothing about it.

Rongyan and her companions put down their things and left the village, then hurried to the second house.

Shen Xingzhi recognized the person immediately and called out, "Qin Fei."

Qin Fei turned around and recognized Shen Xingzhi. He put down the bamboo basket he was weaving and ran towards the back of the house.

Shen Xingzhi hurriedly followed, but she couldn't keep up with the man who was just over thirty. Soon, Qin Fei disappeared from sight.

Shen Xingzhi returned to Qin Fei's house, where she and Rong Yan could only wait for the opportunity to strike.

Fu Jingsheng had been staying close to Rong Yan and the others. When he saw Qin Fei run away, he chased after him along a side path and stopped the man.

"Why are you running?" Fu Jingsheng grabbed Qin Fei's arm.

Qin Fei had seen the news about Fu Jingsheng. He knew that this man was Dr. Song's husband and that he wanted to take revenge on him. The man tried to break free.

But the tall and imposing Fu Jingsheng held him firmly, and Qin Fei couldn't escape at all. The man could only pretend, "I'm not running away. I have something urgent to do."

Fu Jingsheng had clearly seen everything, but Shen Xingzhi called his name before he ran away, making an excuse that he had something to do.

He grabbed Qin Fei by the shoulder: "You probably know who we are now, right? We won't make things difficult for you, go back."

Qin Fei was dragged home by Fu Jingsheng.

Rong Yan looked at Fu Jingsheng with surprise: "Why are you here?"

"Let him explain my situation later." Fu Jingsheng grabbed Qin Fei.

This man went to the clinic for a free medical consultation years ago and had mild depression. Shen Xingzhi remembers him vividly because the story that happened to him was very special.

His wife turned out to be an alcoholic. One day, she drank too much and, because Qin Fei was angry, didn't pick her up from school. On her way home, she accidentally fell into the river, and Qin Fei became depressed as a result.

No matter how much they threatened or bribed him, Qin Fei insisted that he was just posting messages out of boredom, that there was no mastermind behind it, and that he could stop posting them in the future, but he would not clarify anything.

Rong Yan and the others couldn't resort to force, so they had to find the next alliance member.

Shen Xingzhi drove Rong Yan's car and let Rong Yan get into Fu Jingsheng's car.

Knowing that his insistence on coming along had angered his wife, the man gently touched Rong Yan's lips and said, "Wife, smile. If you don't smile, I'm going to kiss you right here."
