Chapter 199 Unable to Control

Fu Jingchen subconsciously withdrew his hand.

Rong Bing froze awkwardly. After a moment of silence, Fu Jingchen excused himself, saying he was thirsty, and went to the convenience store to buy a bottle of water. He also asked Rong Bing what she liked to drink.

Rong Bing said absentmindedly, "Whatever."

The man left the courtyard and found a quiet place to rest for a moment. He understood what Rong Bing meant.

After being rejected when she reached out to him in the courtyard, the woman regained her composure and felt uneasy, afraid that she had scared Fu Jingchen away. She bit her lip and blamed herself, wondering why she had been so impatient.

Fu Jingchen is soft-hearted. If he continues to play the victim, he might still have a chance. But if he exposes his true intentions now, will Fu Jingchen come back in the future?

After much deliberation, Rong Bing realized she couldn't just sit and wait for her fate; she had to continue pretending.

After the two nannies finished their work, Rong Bing told them to go out for a walk and come back when they received a call.

Rong Bing cooked glutinous rice balls for Fu Jingchen herself.

She has difficulty walking and is in a wheelchair. She needs to pull hard on the stove to stand up.

Sitting down limits her strength, so much so that when she put water in the pot, before she could even put it on the gas, the pot tipped over, splashing cold water all over herself.

Rong Bing wanted her to look pathetic.

She went back and forth several times, and not only herself, but even the kitchen looked like it had been bombed. When Fu Jingchen returned after buying water, he heard the noise from the inner room and went in to take a look.

Rong Bing was disheveled, soaked to the bone, and the kitchen floor was a mess.

Upon seeing Fu Jingchen, she pretended to start paying attention to her appearance, sobbing as she fixed her hair: "Jingchen, I'm so useless. I wanted to cook you some glutinous rice balls myself, but I messed it up. Look at how many are left in the pot. Is it enough for you?"

Fu Jingchen quickly went over and pushed Rong Bing away: "Do you know how dangerous this is? What if the boiling water spills and gets on you? And what if there's a fire and you get burned?"

He grabbed Rong Bing's hand: "I won't starve if I don't eat tangyuan."

"It hurts," the woman cried out, frowning.

Fu Jingchen noticed the blisters on the woman's hands.

Rong Bing was eager for the man to see, but to show that she hadn't arranged it on purpose, she quickly withdrew her hand and pretended to change the subject: "It's okay, Jing Chen, I can still take care of myself, right? It's just a little messy."

"Do you have any disinfectant? I can disinfect it for you," the man asked, looking at the blisters on the woman's hands.

“It’s okay if it’s not disinfected on the coffee table in the living room. I’m used to it. Before, when no one took care of me, I often cooked for myself and always got hurt. But the pain eventually healed.” Rong Bing wiped away her tears.

She noticed that Fu Jingchen's expression was getting increasingly somber, and he must be feeling sorry for her.

So she took the opportunity to pull the man back: "Really, it's okay, don't bother, eat something first, your hand will heal on its own in a few days."

Fu Jingchen didn't say a word. He found disinfectant and cotton swabs and carefully treated Rong Bing's wound.

The woman glanced at the serious-looking man out of the corner of her eye, and her thoughts instantly drifted back to a few years ago, when she was the glamorous Miss Rong and he was the energetic Second Young Master Fu.

Fu Jingchen was very good to her, and he had been just as anxious when she accidentally got a small cut on her hand. As she thought about it, tears fell, landing squarely on the back of the man's hand.

Fu Jingchen tightened his grip on the cotton swab. He couldn't tell whether he felt sympathy for Rong Bing or still had feelings for her.

He didn't want Rong Bing to live like this.

The man didn't even look up, and Rong Bing continued to play the victim: "Sorry, my eyes hurt a little. I didn't cry. I'm so happy that you come to see me occasionally."

"Jing Chen, if time could turn back, I definitely wouldn't have done that." Rong Bing's voice choked with emotion.

"It's all applied now, don't get it wet for a while. If you want to eat something, ask Auntie to make it. Don't try to be brave. If Auntie isn't around, just wait," the man instructed.

"Yes, I will take good care of myself, Jingchen. If you have time, could you come and see me more often?" The woman gradually raised her conditions.

Fu Jingchen replied calmly, "I'll try my best."

"Let's eat some glutinous rice balls." Rong Bing said with a beaming smile.

After returning from Mengzhou, Fu Jingchen locked himself in his room. He opened a drawer, which contained many photos of Rong Bing that he hadn't opened since she left Tiancheng.

He had to admit that Rong Bing had disturbed his peace of mind today; after all, she was his first woman.

After calming down for a while, he received a call from Fu Jingsheng, inviting him to dinner. The man immediately guessed his brother's purpose.

He agreed without hesitation.

Royal Water Bay.

Rong Yan instructed the servants to prepare several dishes that Fu Jingchen liked to eat.

She and Fu Jingsheng went upstairs first, and before having dinner, they wanted to rest for a while.

Fu Jingsheng leaned back on the sofa in the living room, with Rong Yan sleeping next to her, covered with a book, chatting aimlessly.

When people relax, their thoughts tend to wander.

As Fu Jingsheng held the soft woman in his arms, tender images flashed through his mind.

He didn't hear what Rong Yan said at all; the man's gaze fell on the TV cabinet, a place he hadn't done before.

"Rong Yan, you've rested for two days." His words were loaded with meaning.

Rong Yan was talking about her novel when Fu Jingsheng interrupted her.

She was stunned for a moment, then quickly realized that they had gone straight to sleep when they got back too late yesterday, and had left early this morning without having time to do anything.

Fu Jingsheng's health bar was clearly full.

But it's already lunchtime, wouldn't it be even more unpleasant to be interrupted halfway through? Rong Yan refused: "Control yourself, let's do it again tonight."

Fu Jingsheng straightened Rong Yan's head: "You kept rubbing the back of your head against me, I thought you were hinting at something."

"Huh?" Rong Yan was so engrossed in telling the story that she only realized she was actually using Fu Jingsheng as a pillow when the man reminded her.

She suddenly stood up and discovered that there was indeed a change under Fu Jingsheng's clothes.

"I didn't mean to." Rong Yan covered her face. She was talking about her novel in a serious manner, so how could Fu Jingsheng react?

"Was that intentional?" the man deliberately misinterpreted. "What do you suggest we do? It's very clever."

Rong Yan put on her shoes, preparing to run away, but Fu Jingsheng grabbed her waist and pulled her back to his side. The woman fell down, which made things even better, as her entire face smashed into Fu Jingsheng.

"It's crushed." The man clutched his body.

Rong Yan panicked and instinctively reached out her hand: "Are you alright?"

He instantly clamped his legs around the woman: "How will you know if there's anything wrong if you don't try? Try it now, and see a doctor immediately if there are any problems."

Rong Yan: ……

I've been fooled again!

She rubbed her nose, which had been bumped and hurt: "Can't you just control yourself?"

Fu Jingsheng reached inside the woman's clothes: "I can't control myself."

With your face pressed against his groin, can't you feel the hardness?

Fu Jingsheng rolled over, placed his hands on the sofa, and wrapped them around the woman's waist... He then turned her around.

Rong Yan felt a tingling, numb sensation all over her body as she was being pressed against him. She bit her lip, raised her chin, and met Fu Jingsheng's fiery eyes.

"Then hurry up," the woman said, relenting.

Fu Jingsheng turned his head and bit her neck, sucking hard and leaving two marks.

Ugh...
