As soon as the car arrived at the hospital entrance, Fu Jingsheng carried Rong Yan straight to the emergency room.
Did you not rest properly after catching a cold and get infected again?
Finally, it was Rong Yan's turn. After a series of examinations, nothing was wrong. The doctor prescribed some painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs for Rong Yan to take.
The pain gradually subsided, but fearing that it would recur after the medication wore off, Fu Jingsheng and Rong Yan waited in the car until the early hours of the morning.
That night, the woman felt damp all over, and the pain had subsided, but her stomach was contracting slightly. Could it be that she was menstruating?
She told Fu Jingsheng she wanted to go to the restroom, and the man accompanied her.
Sure enough, there was a little bloodstain on the panty liner.
"Fu Jingsheng, I've started my period. Luckily I wore a panty liner. Let's go back to the hotel. We'll stop at the convenience store on the way." Rong Yan said to her husband after they came out.
"So it's my period." Fu Jingsheng breathed a sigh of relief, but quickly became worried again, "Was it this painful before it started before?"
Rong Yan shook her head. Her aunt did have a slight stomachache and breast swelling a week before her period, but this was the first time she had ever been in so much pain that she was sweating and couldn't straighten her back.
"Then let's go register again and ask." Fu Jingsheng prepared to return to the hospital.
"The gynecological exam has to wait until my period is over. Let's go back first, or we'll get it on our pants." Rong Yan couldn't sit still any longer; if she stayed any longer, she might get it on the car.
"good."
After driving away from the hospital and buying sanitary napkins and uterine warming patches, it was already 4 a.m. I could finally get a full week of rest.
Fu Jingsheng extended his stay by one day, intending to sleep in with Rong Yan until they naturally woke up.
Morning at Yushui Bay.
After the old lady got up, she asked the maid Rong Yan if she had returned. The maids shook their heads.
The old lady's expression changed abruptly. She frowned and asked, "Where is the eldest young master? Has he returned?"
"No."
"Aren't they coming back?" the old lady asked again.
"We don't know, madam, we're off to work." The servants knew the old lady's temper; she would make a scene if things didn't go her way. To avoid getting into trouble, they tried to avoid talking to her too much.
Since the servants couldn't make the decision, the old lady asked her daughter-in-law, Han Yue, from the living room.
Han Yue was still half asleep when she heard the maid knocking on the door. She rubbed her eyes and opened the door: "What is it?"
"Madam, the old lady asked why the eldest young master and Miss Rongyan haven't returned. We don't know, but she wants you to come over." The messenger said tremblingly.
Han Yue washed up and went downstairs.
The old lady smiled and asked her daughter-in-law, "Yue'er, did you call Jing Sheng to bring Rong Yan back?"
Han Yue replied: "I called, but Jing Sheng said he couldn't control Rong Yan. They weren't together yesterday. Rong Yan stayed at a friend's house, and Jing Sheng went to Assistant He's place. Sigh, the young couple is separated. Speaking of which, Rong Yan's temper is really stubborn, just like yours. If you didn't know better, you would think Rong Yan is your real granddaughter."
Han Yue's words were subtly implying something about the old lady.
"To be honest, I also think this girl's personality is just like hers when she was young—stubborn, inflexible, even her tantrums are the same." After saying that, the old lady seemed to realize something was wrong. "Yue'er, are you making a veiled attack?"
Han Yue shook her head: "Mom, how could I dare to scold you? I mean you two are actually quite similar in personality. You're both stubborn but soft-hearted. Sometimes you're too impulsive, but you're actually very kind-hearted. Maybe I should call Rong Yan."
"No, if she doesn't want to come back, then she doesn't have to," the old lady sighed.
Unexpectedly, Rong Yan returned at ten o'clock.
She carried a bag, slammed the door shut as she entered, and it was clear at a glance that she was upset.
Fu Jingsheng followed behind: "Rong Yan, you can't be so rude."
"Didn't you tell me to come back? You said you'd do whatever I wanted as long as I came back. I've been holding a grudge, why can't I let it out?" Rong Yan slept at the hotel until nine o'clock. When she woke up, her stomach pain was gone, so she went home.
She had discussed her throwing a tantrum with Fu Jingsheng beforehand, and the man cooperated.
"What's wrong with the door? Why are you picking on it?"
"Then tell me, if I don't slam the door, what am I going to do? Throw people at me?" Rong Yan put her hands on her hips. "Where's Grandma? I'll ask her why she called me back. If I don't come back, Fu Jingsheng will argue with me. I'm doing just fine on my own outside."
"Grandma, Grandma, what's wrong? Come out and tell me!" the woman shouted.
The servants all came out of the living room, and it seemed another family battle was about to break out. Several of them were scrambling to do the laundry, water the flowers, and tidy up the yard... but no one was cleaning the yard inside the house.
The situation was already terrifying enough with just one incident, but now the mistress of the house has gone mad. If it weren't for the high wages offered by the Fu family, they would all want to leave.
A few people whispered among themselves.
Miss Rong has been driven mad.
"That's right. Miss Rong is such a good person. If it weren't for her sake, I would have left even if you offered me 20,000 a month."
[Sigh, Miss Rong and her husband had such a good relationship, and now they've been forced to separate.]
[Stop talking, Mrs. Han Yue is here.]
...
Like the servants, Han Yue disliked watching family disputes, and she was not good at mediating them. When she saw an old woman and a young child at odds, she didn't know what to do and could only find an excuse to leave.
"Sigh." Han Yue sighed in front of the servants.
"Madam, did you also hide out here?" asked Aunt Wang, who was in charge of cooking.
Han Yue sat on the stone bench, resting her chin on her hand: "Yes, let's all hide here."
In the living room, the old lady also wanted to run away. She couldn't outrun Rong Yan, but before her wheelchair could reach the door, she saw Rong Yan lock it. She leaned against the door and said, "Grandma, now it's just the two of us. What do you think you want to do? You always went against me before, just hoping I would leave. Now that I've left, you've made Jing Sheng force me to come back."
The old lady didn't even look up: "Forced you to come back? What did Jing Sheng do? Was his attitude bad? I asked him to invite you back."
Did her grandson and Rong Yan have a fight? So Rong Yan came back and took her anger out on her? The old lady was a little confused. She was sure she hadn't let her grandson get angry with Rong Yan.
How come things are getting more and more complicated?
Rong Yan kicked the door: "Grandma, do you mean you told Fu Jingsheng to talk to me nicely, but he decided to be mean to me on his own? Did he take advantage of my talking back to you to be mean to me? I'm going upstairs to find him right now."
The woman stormed upstairs, and the old lady couldn't stop her.
The old lady wheeled herself to the top of the stairs: "No, he may have misunderstood me. Don't look for Jing Sheng."
Rong Yan completely ignored the old lady.
The old man was bewildered. Could it be that these two were arguing and he was the one who stirred up trouble?
"Oh my goodness!" The old lady slapped her leg. "Yue'er, Yue'er," she called to her daughter-in-law.
Han Yue reluctantly went inside. The old lady briefly explained what had happened and asked Han Yue to go upstairs. Before Han Yue even went up, she heard a clanging sound coming from upstairs.
She remained where she was, saying, "I'm not going. Whoever caused the trouble should go."
"You..." The old lady was so angry that she couldn't speak.
"Was it Jing Sheng or Rong Yan who smashed things?" Han Yue muttered to herself.
