Chapter 3 My Father Died Early

My two daughters arrived.

Rong Yan put her hands on her hips, pretended to be angry, opened the door, and pulled the child into the office.

"Mom, he's Dad, right?" Rong Shiyu asked before Rong Yan could speak.

“Dad wasn’t struck by lightning and died. He’s still here, but he has a son now and doesn’t want us anymore,” Rong Shimo added.

Rong Yan's lips trembled almost imperceptibly. Over the years, she had never told her children about her relationship with Fu Jingsheng, but her two daughters were much smarter than other children their age.

"Great, Xingxing!" The two children clapped their hands and cheered. "Mom, you're not allowed to sneak over here to treat other people's illnesses anymore!"

"Yan." Shen Xingzhi patted Rong Yan's shoulder, her eyes full of meaning.

"Okay, you two have to listen to your auntie and not run around. I'm taking the skateboards with me." Rong Yan took away her daughters' skateboards.

Fu Yunting nodded.

Liu Xue informed Fu Jingsheng that she would be home late.

Fu Yunting rides the Jinhu Ferris Wheel several times a week, although most of the time the little boy just sits inside and stares blankly.
