Rong Yan sobbed softly.
Realizing the woman was in real pain, Fu Jingsheng quickly finished.
Rong Yan crawled into the covers and fell into a deep sleep.
Early in the morning, the ringing of the phone woke the two from their sleep.
The words "Old Buddha" on the caller ID made Fu Jingsheng frown.
He didn't want to answer, so he pressed the mute button.
The old lady was eager to see her great-grandson.
After the first call went unanswered, she called again.
The phone rang again, and Fu Jingsheng hesitated. Rong Yan nudged the man and said, "Answer it."
Fu Jingsheng reluctantly gave a "hello".
The old lady said gently, "Jingsheng, are Xiaolei and the others coming back today? I asked Aunt Liu to buy some mandarin fish. I'll make sweet and sour mandarin fish for lunch, as well as their favorite soup and your favorite dishes. Come over with us."
Fu Jingsheng didn't believe the old lady was only after a meal, and the man refused, using being busy as an excuse.
The old lady then said that she wouldn't think Fu Jingsheng was nagging during the meal, and she promised not to nag. She just missed her great-grandchildren. She suggested that Fu Jingsheng should not come and that the children should come instead.
"You don't need to go yourself?" Fu Jingsheng agreed: "Okay, I'll have the driver take them there at noon, and they'll come back after lunch."
The old lady knew this was the last meal she would have with her great-grandson. Although she wanted to see him one last time, she decided to let it go since he was unwilling.
After hanging up the phone, Fu Jingsheng spoke with Rong Yan, who agreed without hesitation.
The old lady has been very kind to the children lately, especially since it's Saturday today.
"Wife, did you almost faint last night?" Fu Jingsheng brought up that topic again.
Rong Yan rolled her eyes and said disdainfully, "You just get more excited the more I beg for mercy."
"Hmm, do you understand a man's desire to conquer?" Fu Jingsheng smiled smugly. "Not enough? Let's continue."
He deliberately teased Rong Yan.
The woman quickly wrapped herself in the blanket and rolled to the edge of the bed: "Fu Jingsheng, you said you would respect me. If I don't want to come, you can't force me."
Fu Jingsheng moved over and rested his head on his hand: "I won't force you. I'll just give you a little nudge, and you'll be begging me."
The man's confident expression made Rong Yan feel like she was getting a beating, but Fu Jingsheng was right, she really had no resistance to him. Countless times she said no, but she couldn't resist the man's ignition.
"Then don't touch me." Rong Yan burrowed down even further, only her eyes showing. If Fu Jingsheng couldn't kiss her, she wouldn't feel anything.
The man gently flicked the woman's forehead; "Look how scared you are, I was just teasing you. Get up, Ye Jianming sent a message, he found out some things about Lu Kai."
Rong Yan sat up abruptly: "Okay, you wash up first, I'll change my clothes." She kicked Fu Jingsheng away.
Ye Jianming stared blankly at the computer. He hadn't found out who Lu Kai had that kind of relationship with at the nightclub, but he overheard another name, saying that it was Lu Kai's doctor, who used to work at Songshan Clinic.
Could someone be seeking revenge against Rong Yan?
Ye Jianming was afraid that after investigating for a while, he would find out that it was actually Rong Yan's enemy.
The women in the nightclub didn't know the doctor's name; they had only heard Lu Kai mention it a few times.
Rong Yan and the others arrived at just seven o'clock.
Fu Jingsheng brought breakfast for Ye Jianming.
"Come and take a look." Ye Jianming put his breakfast aside, preparing to get down to business first.
"Ye Jianming, have breakfast first. It won't take much time." Rong Yan placed the lunchbox in front of the man.
“Yes, let’s eat first, we should eat something too,” Fu Jingsheng agreed.
——
Lu Mansion.
Lu Kai slept until the sun came up.
After recovering a bit, Liang Jia quietly got up before dawn and started making tofu pudding, which Lu Kai loved to eat.
The maid joked, "Miss Liang, only you are so good to the master. This matter could have been left to us, but you got up early and did it yourself."
Liang Jia laughed: "Because he's good to me now."
"Yes, the gentleman has changed a lot lately. He smiles more often. Miss Liang, you deserve it." The maid's words made Liang Jia even more confused.
Even the servants felt that Lu Kai had changed because of her; indeed, she was a special person to Lu Kai.
Liang Jia couldn't suppress her smile any longer, and she feigned modesty: "Impossible, am I that special to him?"
The maid nodded vigorously: "Yes, you can ask Sister Zhou and the others. We take care of the master because we are paid. He pays us more than the market rate, so we all do our best. You are different, and the master doesn't treat us as well."
"Thank you for telling me all this. Maybe the gentleman is a good person at heart. He's just afraid of getting hurt, so he pretends to be scary. He used to get angry for no reason, which frightened you, didn't it? Don't take it to heart. Just treat him like a child." Liang Jia acted like the lady of the house.
After chatting with the maid, I felt extremely good.
"I'll go upstairs and see if he's up yet." The woman asked the maid to watch the pot while she went upstairs.
When Lu Kai opened the bedroom window, he smelled the aroma of tofu pudding.
He guessed that Liang Jia was in the kitchen.
The man quickly washed up.
I bumped right into Liang Jia when I opened the door.
The woman was thrown several tens of centimeters away, clutching her forehead in pain.
"Jiajia." Lu Kai rubbed her hands.
"You're up," Liang Jia said.
"I was woken up by the smell of tofu pudding downstairs. Tell me, did you deliberately seduce me?" Lu Kai asked, wrapping his arms around the woman's waist.
"Hehe, you have such a keen nose. I was hoping to surprise you, but you found out already." The woman said coquettishly, "It's not the tofu pudding you imagined, I made some improvements."
"Really? I'm looking forward to it." Lu Kai released the woman. "I am indeed hungry. I lost too much essence yesterday, so I need to replenish it properly."
Liang Jia slapped the man's arm: "You're so annoying, you're always making fun of me."
“You’ve taken all the essence,” the man continued.
Liang Jia covered his mouth: "Don't mention it again, it's not good for your aunt to hear it."
"Okay, let's not talk about it. We'll do it again tonight." Lu Kai made a reservation for the evening.
"Yes." The woman nodded.
Liang Jia's homemade tofu pudding was even smoother and more tender. In addition to the usual seaweed and dried shrimp, she specially bought houttuynia cordata (a type of herb). She added it to the cold dish, and houttuynia cordata is also one of Lu Kai's favorite foods.
Sure enough, the man boasted about eating three bowls, and after finishing, he pulled Liang Jia onto his lap and praised her: "This is the best tofu pudding I've ever eaten."
Liang Jia, surrounded by men, shyly looked up and saw the maid covering her mouth and snickering. She whispered, "Everyone's watching, put me down."
"You all get out and close the door. I won't open it, so don't come in." Lu Kai dismissed the servants.
"Yes, sir," the men said in unison.
"There's no one here." Lu Kai stroked the woman's neck. "I want to eat you."
"Huh? Isn't it nighttime?" Liang Jia exclaimed in shock.
“I can’t wait until then, I’m in a good mood right now.” Lu Kai nodded, looking intently at Liang Jia. “What if we want to get together? No external force can compare to the feeling of being enveloped.”
