Before dawn, Fu Yunlei woke up his younger brother, put on his dinosaur-shaped bag with two piggy banks inside, and quietly opened the door to go out.
The clinic wasn't open yet, but once it got light, it would be difficult for them to run away from home.
After leaving the villa, the two decided to walk to the clinic.
Fu Jingsheng stayed in the office all night and returned around 4 a.m. He dozed off in the garage for a while. When he went upstairs, he saw his son, who was carrying a small bag and looking rather sneaky. He didn't call out to them but quietly followed them.
The two little ones have run away from home; he wants to see where they've gone.
Leaving his hateful home, Fu Yunting felt the air had become sweeter, but soon, he became worried again.
Fu Yunting put his arm around his younger brother's shoulder: "Dad and Great-Grandma hate Mom so much. If they knew Mom was in Tiancheng, would they have harmed her?"
Fu Yunlei stopped in his tracks: "Yes, when they wake up and find out we're missing, they'll definitely call the police, which will implicate Mom. We can't let Mom be found out."
"Let's go home." The two of them unanimously gave up the idea of running away from home.
Fu Jingsheng was caught off guard when his son suddenly turned around.
"Dad!" Fu Yunlei exclaimed incredulously, his eyes wide, his heart pounding. Luckily, he turned around.
"Run away from home? Where do you want to go?" Fu Jingsheng asked knowingly.
Fu Yunlei made no attempt to hide his feelings and nodded directly, while Fu Yunting pouted and used sign language: "Just wandering around the neighborhood."
He thought his father would be angry, but to his surprise, Fu Jingsheng picked up one child in each arm and apologized: "I'm sorry, Lei, I shouldn't have scolded you yesterday."
Fu Yunlei burst into tears: "Dad, I was wrong too. I shouldn't have stopped you from getting my brother treated. Either take me to beg the doctor today."
The little boy had a brilliant idea: this way he could see his mother openly and honestly.
Fu Jingsheng had already tried using his face once, but was rejected, so how could he possibly go again?
“No, we’ll find a better doctor for my brother,” the man said without hesitation.
But he was soon proven wrong by a phone call from Shen Xingzhi.
As soon as Rong Yan woke up, she urged Shen Xingzhi to call Fu Jingsheng.
Shen Xingzhi said that Songshan's assistant agreed to let Fu Yunting take a look first, but the Fu family's housekeeper was too troublesome, so he had to bring the child himself.
Fu Jingsheng initially refused to become Songshan's assistant, but at least he would be associated with Songshan, so he figured he might as well give it a try.
Presumably, Songshan has figured it out. The Fu family cannot be offended. Let the assistant take a look at the child first, and everyone can compromise.
The man agreed.
At the Fu family villa, everyone was busy after dawn. It wasn't until Fu Jingsheng returned with the children and told everyone that he had met them on the road that the servants realized that the young masters hadn't been sleeping in the house and had run away from home early in the morning.
Fortunately, it was a false alarm.
When Rong Bing returned to her room in the early morning, she saw the children running out of the house on the balcony. She deliberately didn't say anything, but to her surprise, the children returned safely.
She squatted down in front of the two children with a forced smile, feigning concern: "My dears, it's so dangerous outside! What if you get kidnapped? Are you alright? Did you get hurt?"
Fu Yunlei shook off Rong Bing's hand; who wanted her to be so hypocritical?
The old lady was awakened by the noise in the yard and came over to find out what was going on.
Thinking that Fu Jingsheng might not be able to have children in the future, these two would be the only bloodline of the Fu family. She was furious that none of the dozen or so servants in the house had noticed that the children were missing, and demanded that the servants take turns on duty 24 hours a day from now on.
The Fu family home is now more like a cage.

At the Yunfan Hotel, Rong Yan let Shen Xingzhi take her daughter away.
She arrived at the clinic and explained to the other doctors that she would be receiving Fu Jingsheng as Songshan's assistant.
All the staff at the clinic signed confidentiality agreements, and none of them would reveal Rong Yan's true identity.
When Fu Jingsheng went out, Rong Bing insisted on following him.
The man did not refuse, after all, the clinic staff had only said not to send a housekeeper.
Rong Bing and Fu Jingsheng were queuing in the lobby on the first floor with their child.
The Fu brothers had no interest in Songshan; they just wanted to find a chance to sneak away and visit their mother.
Fu Yunting remembered that the office he had mistakenly entered yesterday was on the second floor.
I don't know if my mother is a patient or a doctor, but she's definitely not the particularly capable person my father described.
If Mom is also a patient, will she not come today?
Go to yesterday's office. Even if Mom is a patient, the doctor there will know when she'll come back.
Fu Yunting winked at his brother, indicating that he would let his brother come into the consultation room with him later.
Finally, Fu Yunting's name was called.
Rong Bing and Fu Jingsheng were both stopped outside the consultation room.
When he opened the door, Fu Jingsheng saw a woman wearing a light blue suit and a mask; her profile looked somewhat familiar.
When he tried to find out what was going on, the door had already been closed.
In the treatment room, besides Rong Yan, there was also an assistant doctor who had brought Fu Yunting there; she was someone Rong Yan had personally trained.
"Sister, the door is locked. They're waiting outside, but there's an extra child." Rong Yan said she only brought Fu Yunting in, but Xu Fei didn't expect that Fu Yunting had a twin brother.
Rong Yan looked at the child, and the documents in her hand fell to the ground.
Two identical children, and the one who died young was one of their twin sons.
Fu Yunting recognized those eyes; they belonged to the aunt from yesterday.
He pulled his brother's hand hard and nodded to him.
"Sister, hurry up," Xu Fei reminded her.
Rong Yan regained her senses, walked to her two children, took off her mask, her eyes filled with tears, and bent down to stroke her son's face.
She didn't need a DNA test; she was certain they were her children.
