"Hmm..." Hu Mingmei responded in a deep voice, stood up and brought over the white porridge from the table. Bai Nuo subconsciously wanted to take the white porridge from Hu Mingmei's hand, but Hu Mingmei dodged away.
"Does your hand still hurt?" Hu Mingmei asked as she sat up, holding a bowl of porridge in one hand and gently stroking Bai Nuo's hand with the other. "I'm late."
If he had come sooner, Bai Nuo wouldn't have suffered so much.
Bai Nuo shook her head. "How can you blame yourself? I never expected Yu Ziqing to do this." Yu Ziqing is too bold, doing this in broad daylight.

Hu Mingmei suddenly bent down, looking at Bai Nuo with a wicked smile, and asked, "Do you want me to change your clothes?"
"I don't want to!" Bai Nuo shook her head. "Let's go to sleep early!" Then she crawled into the blanket and let out a cry of pain.
"So stupid!" Hu Mingmei scooped Bai Nuo up in annoyance and sat back down on the bed. Bai Nuo went from lying on the bed to leaning against him. Before she could even speak, Bai Nuo was completely nestled against Hu Mingmei.
Hu Mingmei looked at her with annoyance, "Don't you know you also have an injury on your back?"
Bai Nuo nodded, leaning against Hu Mingmei's chest, gasping in pain, "I know, I forgot!" Who told him to tease her like that? This is so embarrassing!
"So stupid!" Hu Mingmei said with disdain, but her actions were anything but hesitant. Her soothing warmth gradually calmed Bai Nuo down, making her forget the pain.
Sometimes, a hug has a magical power; it can reach straight to the heart and soothe all the wounds in your soul.
Bai Nuo now feels that she and Hu Mingmei are the same.
