Aunt Liu gave her a reproachful look. "Why are you asking this? Are you embarrassed to ask your grandma because you're having menstruation and feeling unwell?"
Aunt Liu mistook Bai Nuo for someone who wanted to ask her something.
"No, no!" Bai Nuo quickly said, "I don't feel uncomfortable at all! I just had my period once, and everything is fine!" The first time she had her period, she only had some stomach pain, but thanks to the care of Grandma and Aunt Liu, the pain only lasted for one day. After the second day, the pain was gone, and she felt much more comfortable than in her previous life.
"I came here to ask you for a favor!" Bai Nuo said. As someone with an ancient appearance but a modern mind, it was easy for her to accept sanitary napkins and underwear, since she was used to them in her previous life. However, she didn't know if the people here would accept them.
Bai Nuo searched and searched, thinking it over and over. There were so many women in the family. Grandma was old and had difficulty moving around, so Bai Nuo was too embarrassed to bother her. Jiang San Niang was still in her postpartum period and probably couldn't get up. Jiang Qiao'er was still a child and didn't have an aunt yet. After thinking it over, Bai Nuo realized that only Aunt Liu was left.
"What's wrong?" Aunt Liu asked Bai Nuo.
"I want you to help me put this on!" Bai Nuo took out the underwear she had made.
"What is this?" Aunt Liu reached out and took the underwear from Bai Nuo's hand, pinched it and looked at it. "Why is there so little fabric? How am I supposed to wear this?"
“These are underwear!” Bai Nuo said. “They’re worn directly on the body!”
"What did you say, young lady?" Aunt Liu raised her voice. "How can this be underwear? How can underwear have so little fabric?" She didn't believe it was underwear. How could it be pants with so little fabric? Even the rag she usually used to wipe the table had more fabric than this!
"It really is an underpants, I just made it. Now tell me if you're willing to help me!" Bai Nuo said in a deep voice. Seeing that Aunt Liu was somewhat unwilling, Bai Nuo began to use his power to intimidate her.
"It's not that I'm unwilling!" Aunt Liu looked at the thing she was supposed to be underwear in her hand with a troubled expression. "Wouldn't it be incredibly embarrassing to wear this?" She was so ashamed!
"What's so shameful about that?" Bai Nuo laughed. "You're wearing these underpants, but you're not going without pants on top. Besides yourself, who else would know you're wearing such revealing underpants?"
"That's right!" After hearing Bai Nuo's words and thinking about it, Aunt Liu felt much better.
"You're not menstruating right now, are you?" Bai Nuo asked uncertainly. "If you're not menstruating, wear it now. If you are menstruating, wear it when your period starts!"
"I originally thought it was over!" Aunt Liu smiled a little embarrassedly, "But coincidentally, it's been back these past few days, I don't know why!"
"Then go try it on now!" Bai Nuo said immediately, taking off the sanitary napkin stuck to her underwear. "I've put a menstrual pad here. After you put on this underwear, don't use your own menstrual pad, use mine. I'll come find you in half an hour, and then you can tell me how it feels, okay?"
After taking off her sanitary napkin, Bai Nuo buttoned it back up in front of Aunt Liu, then stuffed her underwear into Aunt Liu's hand. Aunt Liu looked at her and couldn't help but say, "Girl, what are you thinking about? Are you alright? If the old lady knew you had so many strange ideas, she would worry!"
Aunt Liu is treating Bai Nuo like a madwoman.
"Don't worry, Auntie, I'm not crazy. Go on ahead, I'll come find you in a bit. There's no one in the bathroom right now, you can go there to change your clothes!" Bai Nuo said, pushing Aunt Liu toward the bathroom.
Then he stood at the bathroom door waiting for Aunt Liu.
After Aunt Liu went in, she came out quickly. As soon as she came out, Bai Nuo looked at her expectantly. Aunt Liu twisted her body a little awkwardly, "Girl, I put it on, but I'm not used to it without my menstrual cloth!"
"What's wrong with you?!" Seeing that Aunt Liu had put it on, Bai Nuo was completely relieved and comforted her, "It'll be fine! I'll come find you in a bit!"
After Bai Nuo finished speaking, she turned around and went back to her room. Aunt Liu also awkwardly went back to her grandmother's room. Seeing that she looked so uncomfortable, her grandmother couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong? What did Nuo Nuo say?"
Aunt Liu was embarrassed to tell the old woman that she was wearing very little underpants. When the old woman asked, she quickly shook her head and said, "It's nothing. The girl didn't say anything to me. She just told me that Miss Jiang is not well and that I should take good care of her and make her some good and nutritious food."
"It's time to make up for it properly," the old woman nodded, and didn't ask any more questions.
Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye, and Bai Nuo called out to Aunt Liu almost at the last minute, "How are you feeling?"
"What do you mean?" Aunt Liu didn't quite understand what Bai Nuo meant.
"I mean, how do you feel wearing these underpants and using the menstrual pads I gave you? Do you feel stuffy?" Bai Nuo was a little anxious. Seeing that Aunt Liu still didn't understand, Bai Nuo had no choice but to explain to her.
Aunt Liu thought about it carefully, then shook her head. "No, it's a little easier than usual, but it's the same as nothing."
It's definitely damp, but Bai Nuo didn't ask about that. "Won't the buttons at the bottom poke you?"
Aunt Liu shook her head.
"Hurry up and go..." Bai Nuo tiptoed and whispered something in Aunt Liu's ear, then pulled Aunt Liu to the bathroom door and pushed her inside. "Hurry up, tell me after you've seen it!"
