All the guests present were looking at Granny Yu. Granny Yu had lived in the town for twenty or thirty years. Although many of the people present were younger than her, the past between Jiang San Niang and Yu Ziqing was well-known in the town. Therefore, the way the guests looked at Granny Yu and Jiang San Niang was quite meaningful.
Although the ex-husband didn't come, the ex-mother-in-law did. Today is Jiang San Niang's big day with her current husband. Could it be that the ex-husband couldn't bear to see Jiang San Niang get married, so he sent his own mother to ruin the occasion?

Bai Nuo watched as the old woman nimbly darted into the yard, and then heard Granny Yu anxiously calling out, "Son, son, where are you?"
Bai Nuo shook his head, turned and left. That was all the interaction they had. He didn't care about them.
When Bai Nuo returned to the Lu residence quickly, Jiang San Niang had already been taken to the bridal chamber. In the courtyard and the main hall, a grand banquet had already begun. Bai Nuo stepped through the door and said to the two servants, "If that old woman comes again, there's no need to let her in. Just kick her out."
Because Lu Ying had invited customers from the entire town, they didn't specify who could and couldn't come in today, so the two servants simply let people in.
"yes!"
"Bai Nuo!" Suddenly, an excited voice came from behind. Bai Nuo turned around and saw Li Jinyu standing at the door with Cui'er, looking at her excitedly.
Today, Li Jinyu wore an apricot-colored high-fronted dress embroidered with intertwined floral patterns, with a narrow waist and wide sleeves. She wore a matching cape and a single hair ornament on her head, making her look elegant and refined.
Bai Nuo stopped and smiled at her, "I thought you weren't coming today."
"How could that be?" Li Jinyu lifted her skirt and stepped across the threshold. "Third Sister said that I'm inviting your family's clients, so I'm practically one of your clients too, right? Where is Third Sister?"
"You're too late, Third Sister has already gone into the bridal chamber!" Bai Nuo said with a smile.
"Ah!" Li Jinyu covered her mouth and said with great regret, "Then I missed the ceremony? I wanted to give her the red envelope!"
"We'll make it!" Bai Nuo smiled. Not only Li Jinyu, but she herself missed the ceremony too. "We can go to the bridal chamber to find her, and then hand it over to her in person."
