The two servants had no choice but to follow. It wasn't that they didn't want to stop Madam Zheng from coming in; they simply couldn't. They hoped that the master would listen to their explanation and not blame them.
Madam Zheng walked all the way to Huang Haichuan's room. The door was tightly closed. As Madam Zheng was about to go in, one of the two servants quickly called out, "Madam, the master is not inside."
Madam Zheng turned and glanced at the servant who had spoken, her ambiguous smile immediately silencing him.
Madam Zheng reached out and pushed the door open. The outer room was empty; there was indeed no one there. The two servants hesitated but ultimately did not follow them in.
Madam Zheng was determined to find Huang Haichuan and ask him what had happened. Since no one was in the outer room, she went into the inner room. Huang Haichuan's room was separated from the inner room by a screen. As soon as she walked behind the screen, Madam Zheng saw a seductive woman sitting up on Huang Haichuan's bed. The woman was only wearing a bodice, and her skin was as white and tender as milk. A thin veil was draped over the bodice.
When the woman saw Madam Zheng arrive, she slowly got out of bed. As she stood up, the thin veil slipped off her shoulder. After sitting up, she lifted the veil back up. Even such a simple action was full of charm when she did it.
"Greetings, Madam!" The woman said after sitting up, giving Madam Zheng a perfunctory greeting without bowing.
Madam Zheng asked, "Where is the master?"
The woman spoke coquettishly, "Master has gone out and specially asked me to rest here. Why did you come here, Madam? The Fourth Young Master is seriously ill. It would be better for you to go back and keep him company, and enjoy some family time. I will take care of Master, so there is no need for you to worry about him!"
The woman smiled, but her words were truly veiled. Her words were clearly a curse wishing Kang'er to die young. Well, Huang Haichuan's behavior was one thing, but this concubine, who was like a servant, actually dared to curse Kang'er to die young!

"You're nothing but a bed warmer, yet you dare to have such thoughts! I'll beat you to death!" After slapping her, Madam Zheng stepped onto Huang Haichuan's bed, holding the woman down with one hand while continuing to slap her with the other.
That damned thing dared to curse Kang'er! Kang'er is her life. Anyone who dares to curse him will be killed by her!
Madam Zheng was tall and imposing, not at all like a lady from a respectable family. She was also very strong. Even when Madam Zheng held the woman down with one hand, the woman couldn't move and could only be beaten by her. Madam Zheng, like a ferocious mother beast, glared fiercely at the bright moon and pounced on it again! The two quickly engaged in combat!
"What are you doing? Zheng Pei, why aren't you in Kang'er's courtyard? What are you doing here?" Amidst the fight, Huang Haichuan's voice was heard. Mingyue immediately collapsed onto the bed, sobbing, "Master, save me! Madam is going to beat me to death!"
"You deserve to die!" Madam Zheng was no longer the noble lady she once was. Seeing Mingyue fall onto the bed, she pounced on her again!
"Are you crazy!" Huang Haichuan was enraged when he saw that Madam Zheng dared to hit someone in front of him. He pushed Madam Zheng away and glared at her. "What's wrong with you?"
Mingyue got out of bed with a sob and stood pitifully beside Huang Haichuan, her body, clad only in a bodice, pressed against him. "Master, please save me! Madam is going to beat me to death!"
Huang Haichuan angrily asked, "What's going on?"
Mingyue choked back tears as she spoke, "I don't know what happened. Master, you had just left when Madam arrived. I greeted her, but she refused to accept my greeting and said, said..."
