As he spoke, Eunuch Qian noticed that Huang Wenbai and the others were still kneeling below, so he said to Hu Mingmei, "Prince Chu, before I came out, the Empress Dowager had a few words of advice for me to give you!"
Hu Mingmei nodded. "Please go ahead."

As soon as Eunuch Qian left, Huang Wenbai and the others stood up. Although Eunuch Qian was no longer there, they dared not be disrespectful to Hu Mingmei and Bai Nuo. Although they were unwilling, they dared not show it. "Congratulations to the Prince and Princess of Chu!"
Of all these people, Huang Ziyao was the happiest. She walked up to Bai Nuo, touched Bai Nuo's dress, and said with great envy, "Sister-in-law, your dress is so beautiful!" It felt really comfortable to the touch. Although she had seen many kinds of fabrics, she had never seen one so comfortable.

Huang Ziyao stuck out her tongue and lowered her hand.
"It's alright, feel free to touch it if you like!" Bai Nuo said with a smile. "If Madam has nowhere to go, you can go back to the courtyard. Your courtyard is still reserved for you!"
Zheng Pei was very grateful that Bai Nuo had done her a favor, and said, "Okay, I'll wait for you to come back!"
Zheng Pei knew that Bai Nuo had things to do, and thanking the emperor was the most important thing. Now was not the time to talk, so she wasn't in a hurry.
So everyone went their separate ways to do their own thing. When Huang Ziyao saw Huang Wenbai and the others, she obediently greeted them. Zheng Pei, however, ignored them and went straight to the old lady's side, saying, "Madam, shall I take you home?"
The old woman had lived here for several months and this was the first time she had seen so many members of the Hu family. Although it was her first time meeting them, she knew everyone in the Hu family very well. "Then thank you very much, Second Madam."
"You're too kind. I've always wanted to visit you, but I haven't found the right opportunity until today. Now, I'm finally going to ask you for some hot tea!" Zheng Pei said with a smile.
Huang Ziyao hadn't been home for a long time and didn't know what to say to Huang Haichuan and the others. Although she missed her father and grandparents very much, there was a delicate little girl named Mingyue, who was about the same age as her, kneeling on her father's side.
Back then, it was because of this bright moon that her mother was beaten and returned to her parents' home in grievance. As a result, she no longer wanted to call him "father" and said she wanted to go to her grandmother's courtyard for tea.
But they had only taken two steps when Zheng Pei was stopped by Huang Haichuan. "Wait a minute, I have something to tell you!"

Huang Ziyao glanced at her mother with concern. The old woman said, "Let's go, little girl."

Once the old woman and the others left, Mingyue grew bolder. She grabbed Huang Haichuan's arm with her fair, delicate hand and looked at Zheng Pei defiantly, "Master, I've prepared some bird's nest soup for you..."
Zheng Pei went back to her parents' home. Although Huang Yikang's condition remained the same, she had come to terms with it. Every day, besides worrying about Huang Yikang, she was also concerned about Huang Ziyao's marriage. She was so busy every day that she didn't think about Huang Haichuan for a single minute.
Seeing Mingyue's attitude, Zheng Pei didn't care at all and sneered, "Why don't you go back and eat some bird's nest first, then we have nothing to say!"
As Zheng Pei was about to leave, Huang Haichuan stepped forward to stop her. Seeing Huang Haichuan's behavior, Mingyue immediately felt threatened and cried out, "Master!"
"Foolish thing!" Qian Peilan was furious at Mingyue's behavior and slapped her. Mingyue covered her face, wanting to be angry, but seeing Qian Peilan's stern expression, she dared not speak.
"How dare you, a mere servant, speak to the master and mistress? Get out of here!" It was all because of this woman's appearance that Huang Haichuan and Zheng Pei ended up like this. Before, Zheng Pei had always been in the Zheng family, and they were tightly controlled by Hu Mingmei. They never had a chance to talk things out with Zheng Pei. Now that they finally had a chance, how could Qian Peilan let it go?
