Not for any other reason than that Bai Nuo is now extraordinary.
So when Bai Nuo asked them to leave, neither of them was very willing.
"It's alright, you guys go ahead!" Bai Nuo said calmly.
Peony and Peony glanced at Huang Haichuan, gritted their teeth, and went out. Before leaving, they said, "Young Madam, we'll wait outside. If you need anything, just give us your orders."
Peony's words were not only telling Bai Nuo that they wouldn't go far, but also warning Huang Haichuan not to do anything reckless. They were right outside, and they would know everything that was happening in the hall. If he did anything to Bai Nuo, he wouldn't be able to escape either.
Bai Nuo nodded, and Peony and Peony silently withdrew.
Huang Haichuan chuckled sarcastically, "Young Madam, the people around you are really worried about you."
Bai Nuo seemed not to understand Huang Haichuan's sarcasm. "They're just worried about me because I'm pregnant. What do you want to say to me?"
Instead of answering, Huang Haichuan asked, "How are you feeling? Are you four months pregnant?"
Bai Nuo simply nodded indifferently.
But Huang Haichuan sighed to himself, "That's great, you all have your own children now."
Hearing this, Bai Nuo felt it wasn't a blessing at all. "What exactly do you want to say? What happened to Prince Cheng?"
Huang Haichuan suddenly stood up and approached Bai Nuo. Bai Nuo frowned as she looked at him. Huang Haichuan smiled, stood up, and walked up to Bai Nuo. Bai Nuo looked at him warily.
"You don't need to be nervous. I just feel that this news is of great importance, and I don't want others to hear it."
"Alright!" Bai Nuo interrupted Huang Haichuan. "You're close enough. I can hear you. There are only the two of us here. There's no one else here. Just say what you have to say!"
Huang Haichuan nodded. "Prince Cheng ordered me to take action against Ming'er. He instructed me to plant a spy in the Hu family's shop to pass off inferior goods as superior ones, transfer the money out, and prepare it for Prince Cheng."
“This King Cheng is really…” Bai Nuo raised the corner of his mouth, “So what do you plan to do?”
Huang Haichuan stared at Bai Nuo, his gaze somewhat stern. "I'm one of your people now, so of course I'll listen to you. I'll do whatever you say!"
“Alright!” Bai Nuo said quickly. “I’ll tell you what to do after I discuss it with Second Master when he returns. As for Prince Cheng, you can delay things for a while.”
Huang Haichuan nodded casually. "Oh, right, there's one more thing."
"What is it? Speak!"
A look of sadness crossed Huang Haichuan's face. "Aunt Sun had a miscarriage tonight, which hurt her health. I was thinking of getting some tonics for her from the storeroom."
"How could this happen?" Bai Nuo looked at him in shock. Although she didn't like Mingyue and thought she was a green tea bitch, Bai Nuo had no problem with the child in Mingyue's belly. Moreover, she was about to become a mother. The loss of the child made Bai Nuo feel very sorry.
Huang Haichuan shook his head, "She took some potent medicine, so she couldn't keep the baby."
"Alright!" Bai Nuo didn't want to keep asking about this issue, otherwise it would make her seem unusually nervous. "I'll let Lu Ying know, and if you need anything, just have someone get it for you!"

Huang Haichuan spoke frantically as he swiftly lunged towards Bai Nuo. Bai Nuo dodged to the side, rolling off her chair. "Peony! Peony!"
Huang Haichuan was startled, knowing that if Mudan and the others came in, he wouldn't be able to touch Bai Nuo. So he lunged at Bai Nuo and forcefully stabbed the dagger in his hand into Bai Nuo's stomach.
Bai Nuo was shocked. Huang Haichuan had completely lost his mind and wouldn't listen to anything. He was taking his anger out on her child because he had lost his own. Bai Nuo didn't know where she got the courage, but she suddenly raised her hand to block Huang Haichuan's knife. The dagger pierced into Bai Nuo's hand in an instant.
"I'll kill you!" Huang Haichuan shouted madly, forcefully pulling the dagger from Bai Nuo's hand. With a "plop," blood splattered out. Huang Haichuan's eyes turned red in the crimson color, and he stabbed Bai Nuo again.
However, this attempt failed, because Peony, Peony, and the guards had already kicked the door open and entered!
The guards restrained Huang Haichuan, and Peony and Peony rushed over to help Bai Nuo up. Seeing Bai Nuo's bleeding hand, Peony burst into tears.
"Quick!" Bai Nuo endured the pain, "Call Doctor Sun!" Huang Haichuan's blow had pierced her pulse. Although Bai Nuo wasn't a doctor, judging from the amount of bleeding, it was almost certainly him.
