Chapter 80 Bai Dalin is kicked out

"How about we go outside to cook? It's not dark enough in the room." There are no windows in this room; it's completely exposed to the sun outside, but even so, it's quite dark. Plus, the old lady is leaning against the door with her back to it, making it even darker.

"No need!" the old woman laughed. "Just help me to the other side. I need to use the restroom first."

"Okay!" Bai Nuo replied immediately, took the toilet from the door and helped the old lady use the toilet. Then she moved the old lady to the other side. "Shall I massage your legs?" Bai Nuo suddenly remembered that the old lady couldn't walk for a long time and would easily get cramps if she didn't get a massage.

"Okay!" Grandma was very happy that Bai Nuo was being filial to her. She stretched out her legs and leaned against the foot of the bed, enjoying Bai Nuo's massage while making clothes.

"Your toenails are getting long!" Bai Nuo looked at the old woman's feet, which were covered in age spots and had prominent veins. Her nails were also sticking out of her toenails.

Thinking about it, Bai Nuo stood up, took out the scissors from the basket, and lifted the old woman's feet onto her thighs.

"What are you doing?" The old woman looked up and saw Bai Nuo holding scissors in one hand and her foot in the other.

"I'll trim your nails," Bai Nuo replied simply. "Grandma, if you feel uncomfortable like this, remember to tell me. And if I cut your skin, you have to tell me too." Bai Nuo had never trimmed anyone's fingernails or toenails before and was very afraid of cutting Grandma's skin.

"Okay!" Suddenly, the old lady's eyes welled up with tears. Bai Nuo was busy trimming her nails and didn't see her suddenly burst into tears. She quickly wiped away her tears and stared at Bai Nuo in a daze.

Her grandchildren have really grown up. They are filial to her and can earn money to support the family. Perhaps she shouldn't have those thoughts and should enjoy her life.

"Does it hurt?" After carefully cutting one, Bai Nuo suddenly remembered that the old lady hadn't made a sound, and hurriedly looked up at her.

"It doesn't hurt!" the old woman shook her head. "It feels very comfortable."

That's good!

Bai Nuo breathed a sigh of relief and quickly trimmed the remaining toenails on her toes.

"Stop making clothes, I'll cut your fingernails." Bai Nuo put the old woman's feet back on the bed, then stepped forward, put the clothes in the old woman's hands aside, and took the old woman's hand to cut her fingernails.

After cutting her fingernails and toenails, Bai Nuo put the scissors back in their place, patted herself off, and looked up to see the old woman staring at her in a daze.

Bai Nuo smiled, walked over, sat down on the stool, and rested her chin on the old woman's lap. "Grandma, let's go out and get some sun. The sun is so nice today."

Every day, Bai Nuo helps Grandma bathe, change her clothes, and turn over in bed, but she never goes out to bask in the sun. Bai Nuo is afraid that Grandma will get bored.

"It'll be alright, I'll stay with you, okay?" Bai Nuo held up one finger to assure her, looking at the old woman pitifully. "Come on, come on, let's sunbathe together."

Seeing her granddaughter so adorable, the old lady's originally gloomy heart brightened considerably. Looking at Bai Nuo's smile, she couldn't bear to refuse Bai Nuo and nodded as if possessed.

Bai Nuo shouted and stood up abruptly, "Grandma, wait for me, I'll take you out right away!" Then she grabbed a stool and rushed out, before coming back in with Bai Yu.

"Grandma, don't be afraid, Ayu and I will lift you up." Bai Nuo approached the old woman and whispered to her.

"Okay!" Grandma nodded, and Bai Nuo put Grandma's arm on his shoulder, then put one of his hands behind Grandma's back and hugged her shoulder.

Grandma isn't heavy; Bai Nuo can't lift her by herself, but it's a piece of cake for her and A Yu together.

Seeing that Bai Nuo had secured the old woman, A Yu hugged the old woman's feet at the head of the bed, and the two siblings carried the old woman outside the house and sat her on a stool.

Bai Nuo also placed a table behind the old woman so that she could lean against it more comfortably.

The afternoon sun bathed the entire earth in a golden hue, the air filled with the scent of grass and wildflowers, and the dappled shadows of the trees cast long, elongated shadows of the three generations of the family.

"Let's go pick some wild vegetables. I have something to tell you!" After basking in the sun for half an hour, Bai Nuo and A Yu carried the old woman back to the room. After settling her in, Bai Nuo took Bai Yu out the door, each carrying a basket, and headed straight for the river.

"Sis, it looks like someone is following us!" Bai Yu was walking beside Bai Nuo when he suddenly looked back, but the entire road was deserted.

"Stop looking, let's go." Bai Nuo pulled Bai Yu over and walked straight away.

Although she wasn't a martial arts expert and couldn't sense how many people were around her, she knew someone was following her when she returned during the day, but she would hide again as soon as she turned around.

I never expected them to follow me home.

I suppose she's one of Miss Zhang's people.

Is this girl determined to keep going until she finds the pearl bracelet?

Thinking of this, Bai Nuo leaned close to Bai Yu's ear and whispered, "They're here to find pearls, so don't go looking for river mussels for a while." Losing a little money is a small matter, but it would be a big problem if these things were stolen.

"Huh?" Bai Yu looked at her in shock.

"Stop it, did you hear me?" Bai Nuo glared at Bai Yu. "Don't go touching the river clams, do you hear me?"
