It's not just the students, but also the parents who bring them to class.
"Let's go!" Bai Nuo glanced at it once and then turned and climbed into the carriage.
Lu Ying watched her actions curiously. "Aren't you going to watch the excitement before you leave?" Isn't it quite lively here? As a woman, don't you all enjoy watching a good show? Why is this girl so calm?
"There's nothing to see!"
"I didn't bump into you, you bumped into me first!" As soon as Bai Nuo finished speaking, a shout came from inside the school. The carriage, which had been moving slightly, stopped moving. Bai Nuo was wondering what was going on when he lifted the curtain and saw Lu Ying get out of the carriage and walk straight into the school.
Looks like they've gone to watch the excitement.
"That Lu Ying!" Bai Nuo looked at Lu Ying's back and had no choice but to jump off the carriage as well.
"How dare you talk like that? Would our brother Tong have bumped into you? It was clearly you, you penniless wretch, who ran into us!"
As Bai Nuo got closer, the sounds grew louder and louder. Although she hadn't seen what was going on yet, she could tell from the sounds that the two classmates had accidentally bumped into each other and that's why they were arguing!
But this person is too arrogant! Even if someone bumped into him, he shouldn't have insulted him. It was just a bump, and he doesn't look injured at all, judging from his strong voice. Besides, why is he being so aggressive?
Bai Nuo followed behind Lu Ying and called out to her, but Lu Ying ignored her and pushed her way through the crowd.
"Oh my, you even brought helpers! You poor wretch, you have servants at home?" Bai Nuo kept hearing such comments. Lu Ying also squeezed in, so she went straight to the back of the crowd and stood on tiptoe to take a look.
Realizing she hadn't seen clearly, Bai Nuo followed suit and crawled inside.
Upon entering, Bai Nuo became utterly enraged.
It turns out that the people arguing here were none other than her younger brother, Bai Yu.
There were five people present, including Lu Ying. Lu Ying and Bai Yu were on one side, and the other three people on Bai Nuo's side were dressed in fine silks and satins, adorned with gold and silver, giving the impression of being from very wealthy families.
What did Bai Nuo see when she went inside?
Bai Yu's schoolbag was thrown to the ground, his clothes were dirty, and there was a handprint on his face, as if he had just been hit. His eyes were red as he glared at the three people opposite him. It was unclear whether he had been crying or was angry. Lu Ying was holding the hand of the tallest of the three people opposite him, and it looked like that person's hand was about to fall on Bai Yu.
When the other two of the three saw that their eldest brother had been captured, one went up to berate Lu Ying, and the other wanted to hit Bai Yu.
This is what Bai Nuo saw when she came in, and she immediately yelled, "What are you doing?"
The five people at the center of the incident, along with the crowd present, stared blankly at Bai Nuo.
Upon seeing Bai Nuo, Bai Yu initially froze for a moment, then immediately became aggrieved, tears streaming down his face. He ran over, hugged Bai Nuo tightly around the waist, buried his head in Bai Nuo's arms, and mumbled, "They hit me!"
His sister is here, and Lu Ying's brother is here too. He's not afraid of you people anymore!
Bai Nuo pulled Bai Yu out and looked at his tear-streaked face. Underneath the tears, there was a clear handprint. The side of Bai Yu's face that had been slapped was visibly swollen and red.
Bai Nuo was both angry and heartbroken. If Lu Ying hadn't insisted on coming to see him, would Bai Yu have been beaten to death by these people?
Bai Yu was wrong to bump into someone, but they shouldn't have insulted and then hit him.
"Who hit you?" Bai Nuo's face immediately turned cold.
Bai Yu pointed to the person Lu Ying had grabbed, "He, and the others, were all beaten." Bai Yu circled the person with his little finger.
These three were the biggest bullies in the school, always harassing their classmates. Even the teacher didn't dare to interfere. All three of them bullied him; two hit him, and one stepped on his schoolbag.
"You're his sister, aren't you? Your brother bumped into our Brother Tong, how do you want to settle this?" The two men saw that Bai Nuo was a woman, and she looked like a child, not very tall or big, so they immediately rolled up their sleeves and walked towards the siblings.
Seeing this, Lu Ying wanted to come over and help, but Bai Nuo shook his head at Lu Ying, so Lu Ying twisted the tall man aside and went to watch the show.
"Ah!" Lu Ying twisted her body, and the tall man immediately cried out in pain, glaring fiercely at Lu Ying and threatening, "Whose family are you? Let me go right now, I'm from the Zhang family!"
"What is the Zhang family? Are they so great?" Lu Ying looked at Zhang Tong with suspicion and slapped him across the face. "Does being a member of the Zhang family give you the right to hit people?" He's a member of the Lu family and the Hu family, yet he's never been seen flaunting those identities. Is the Zhang family so great? He'd never even heard of them.
Lu Ying had a strong grip; with one slap, she knocked out one of Zhang Tong's big teeth. Zhang cried out in pain, and blood splattered all over his chin.
The two men instinctively turned around and saw their leader like this. They were stunned and stood still for a moment.
"I don't know if he bumped into your Brother Tong, we'll settle that later, but I saw my brother get beaten up like this, so we have to settle the score with them first!" Without thinking, Bai Nuo kicked the two men hard in the groin. The two men immediately came to their senses and started groaning while clutching their groins.
