He helped Bai Nuo up and held her against his chest. Then he picked up the medicine bowl and stirred the medicine while holding Bai Nuo close. The medicine emitted a strong smell as it was stirred, which made Bai Nuo even more disgusted. She tried to get away, but Hu Mingmei held her firmly. As soon as she slid down, Hu Mingmei immediately stopped and helped her up.
After repeating this several times, Bai Nuo cried again, "I don't want to take the medicine, just let me die!"
"Are you even speaking human language?" Hu Mingmei glared at her, then fed the medicine to her mouth. Bai Nuo refused to let go, so Hu Mingmei used a spoon to pry open Bai Nuo's teeth, and the Chinese medicine filled her mouth, the bitter taste spreading throughout.
"I'll drink it myself!" Seeing Hu Mingmei feed her one spoonful and then prepare to feed her another, Bai Nuo finally broke down, took the bowl, and drank it all in one gulp.
Seeing that Bai Nuo had taken the medicine, Hu Mingmei's expression finally improved. He helped Bai Nuo lie down and said with a smile, "Take a nap. Rest well so that when Shaoyao comes back, you'll have the strength to deal with me!"
