Bai Nuo was furious. In her anger, she opened the cabinet containing the accessories. Inside, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces were neatly arranged. Bai Nuo looked at them one by one and saw that they were all categorized and placed separately. Hu Mingmei hadn't piled them together for her.
Thinking this way, Bai Nuo wasn't so angry anymore. After all, Hu Mingmei was still thinking of her.
"Miss Bai, this is what our young master asked me to bring to you!" After Hu Mingmei had been gone for a while, the sound of a carriage came from outside the door. Bai Nuo ran out to see what was happening and saw Lu Ying taking out the pearls.

"I made a set of clothes for you and Xia Donglai. I don't know if they'll fit. Go back and try them on first. If they don't fit, bring them back to me and I'll alter them for you."
As for Lu Ying and Xia Donglai, Bai Nuo simply said that there was no question of whether it was a surprise or not.
"I have one too?" Lu Ying was very surprised when she heard this. She put down the cup, untied the bundle, and found a blue top inside.
Opening the other one, I found a black top.
"I don't know which color you like, you can choose for yourselves!" Bai Nuo said with a smile. "Both sizes are the same, you can try them on."
"Thank you, young lady. I'll choose the blue one," Lu Ying said with a smile, appearing very happy. It's different having a mistress in this house; she thinks of the Second Master and also of them.
"Has your second master gone back?" Although she was still angry with Hu Mingmei, Bai Nuo couldn't help but ask.
She still wanted to know how Hu Mingmei would react after receiving the clothes.
"I'm so happy!" Lu Ying said emphatically. "As soon as Second Master got back, he locked himself inside. When I went in, he had already changed his clothes and asked me several times if they looked good."
Thinking back to the expression on Second Master's face at that time, Lu Ying had only one thought: So what if you have a wife?

Bai Nuo first dealt with earrings. There were several styles of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, not just one type, which were used to match round beads, flat beads, and irregularly shaped beads.
Having worked with pearls for so long, Bai Nuo has encountered many oddly shaped pearls. Not all of them are round; she usually sells round pearls and keeps the other shapes.
Bai Nuo first took out a four-leaf clover earring. The top of the earring had a four-leaf clover pattern, the right side was the stud, and a small gold chain ran down from the middle of the four-leaf clover. It was about one centimeter long before turning into a small circle. A small umbrella-shaped hat was hanging below the circle, and there was a small dot under the hat.
Those little dots are used to hold pearls in place.
Bai Nuo took out a round bead and used a brush to mark the center of the bead. Then, little by little, she ground the pearl to make room for the bead, making sure the space was slightly smaller than the bead.
Bai Nuo was worried that if the pearls were too big, they might fall out.
After polishing the pearl, Bai Nuo took the earring and forcefully pushed the dot into the pearl. Then she put it down and shook it, but it didn't fall out. She then pulled on the pearl, but it still wouldn't come out.
One earring is now finished.
Bai Nuo made another one using a different method.
The pair of earrings being made now are for her. Grandma wants a pair, Aunt Liu and her daughter want a pair, and so does Jiang San Niang. So, a total of four women want one each.
Bai Nuo spent most of the hour making the earrings for all the people.
After giving it to Jiang San Niang, Jiang Qiao'er was naturally not forgotten. Jiang Qiao'er was given a necklace, made of gold, with irregular patterns carved on the small chain. An irregular figure 8 could be hung in the middle. The upper part was very small, just enough to thread the necklace through, while the lower part was a pearl setting.
Bai Nuo fixed the pearls to the base of the necklace in the same way she made the earrings. The pearl necklace had a movable clasp. Before the pearls were set, the necklace and the tray were separate. After Bai Nuo made the tray, she put the pearls on top of the figure-eight tray and then fastened the clasp.
After finishing, Bai Nuo packed up the earrings for Jiang San Niang and the necklace for Jiang Qiao'er, and then took them with him straight to San Niang's cloth shop.
When they arrived at San Niang's Cloth Shop, Jiang San Niang was attending to customers, and there was not a trace of sadness on her face. Bai Nuo admired Jiang San Niang for this. If someone else had broken up with their boyfriend, even if they were the one who said it, they would cry and wail all over their face. No matter how calm they seemed on the surface, others could still tell that they were sad. But Jiang San Niang was someone who could take things in stride and let them go. She had truly let go, and she wasn't pretending.
After entering, she happened to run into Jiang San Niang collecting money and Jiang Qiao'er loading goods. Neither of them had time to pay attention to her; they just glanced at Bai Nuo as a greeting.
Bai Nuo waited until the guests left before Jiang San Niang asked, "What brings you here?"
Bai Nuo glanced at the guests inside, and only after making sure no one was paying attention to them did she cautiously say, "This is for you!"
Seeing her so mysterious, Jiang Sanniang lowered her voice and movements, opened the box, glanced at it, and then slammed it shut. "Gold?"
Bai Nuo nodded repeatedly.
"We don't want this, it's too valuable!" Jiang San Niang pushed the box back, but Bai Nuo pushed it back to her.
"No, I didn't give this to you as a friend. I came to talk to you about something!"
