"Are we just going to let it go like this?" Chen Qiuling regained her confidence. Bai Dalin's return had given her that confidence. "Don't you even look at the state of your injuries? Is this something a human being would do?"
"And another thing!" Chen Qiuling went on and on once she started talking. "Zhi'er is getting married at the end of the year, but the girl says she won't marry into our family unless they have a house. It's almost August now, where's the house? Are we just going to let Zhi'er not get married and have the marriage called off? Or are we going to let our daughter-in-law live with us?"
It's one thing for her son to share a room with her, but her daughter-in-law is still an outsider, and she's not used to living with an outsider!
