“Now that Hu Mingmei is clearly not going to live, I have to sort out all his property so I can take it all back to his hometown!” Bai Nuo said with a sorrowful expression. “Although I am physically unable to do so now, what can I do when my life is so hard?”
Upon hearing Bai Nuo's words, Manager Chen flew into a rage. What kind of woman was this? The Second Master wasn't even dead yet, and she was already thinking about taking a share of Hu Mingmei's money. How vicious!

Bai Nuo and Jiang San Niang left as it was getting dark. They didn't call for a sedan chair, but walked casually along the road. In fact, as soon as they stepped out, Jiang San Niang felt that people on the street were watching them. The longer they walked, the more gazes were cast upon them.
"Hey sister, we're getting a lot of stares!" Jiang San Niang turned her head and glanced at the person who had been staring at her. Once that person noticed, they looked away and went back to doing their own thing. Only then did Jiang San Niang smile at Bai Nuo.
"How about we call a sedan chair?" Jiang San Niang suggested.

"Not good!" Jiang Sanniang spoke the truth. Was this the center of attention? They were all looking at her with the most venomous eyes of a woman, as if they wanted to devour them all.
"You should walk around more!" Bai Nuo laughed. "Moving around more during pregnancy makes childbirth easier!"
"Really?" Jiang San Niang clearly didn't believe it.
"Of course it's true!" The afterglow of the setting sun quickly filled the entire sky, and the sky gradually darkened. Pedestrians hurried along the street, and the number of people slowly decreased. Bai Nuo's voice carried far, "My husband is almost gone, and we're left as orphans and widows. We should save as much as we can!"
The two of them couldn't walk very fast. As they walked slowly, they realized that there was no one left on the street. They reached the corner of the alley, and Bai Nuo asked Jiang San Niang, "Are you going back to my place or to your husband's family?"

Bai Nuo's attitude immediately enraged the others, who started shouting and trying to teach him a lesson. The leader said, "He's the one who died in the Treasure Pavilion yesterday!"
The leader was Zhao Qianhu's younger brother, Zhao Jinhu. Zhao Jinhu thought that Bai Nuo would be very surprised after he told her about this, but to his surprise, Bai Nuo just said "Oh" softly and then had no other reaction.
Zhao Jinhu was immediately annoyed. He suppressed his temper and said, "Shouldn't you say something?"
