A string of foul curses, accompanied by violent shaking that sent the barbarian chieftain clenching the reins tightly, his veins bulging.
He tried to calm his horse down, but it clearly had little effect.

Zheng Quchi felt as if her bones were going numb. Every part of her body that the dead man had crawled over made her want to shake and rub it to get rid of the creepy feeling.
At that moment, because Yuwen Sheng had moved too much, a small package slipped out from the open collar of his clothes and was instinctively grabbed by Zheng Quchi.
