Xie Ruanruan chatted with the middle-aged man.
She promised to send someone to protect him as long as he was willing to hand over the chip.

Xie Ruanruan also looked back.
She did the same thing.
The police came over and were about to arrest Xie Ruanruan when the man in the car took out an ID and handed it over.

The police officer holding the handcuffs took the ID handed over by the man.
The man looked at him calmly, pointed at Xie Ruanruan and said, "We have the same status."
"I heard she was armed." The police officer looked at Xie Ruanruan.
"It's legal to carry a gun. In our department, even carrying a bazooka is legal. If you don't know, you can ask your director."
Xie Ruanruan said while leaning against the car door.
The police officer happened to know their department and had heard about these things recently.

The captain handed the documents back to the man.
The man put it away.
He raised his eyes, suddenly looked in Ye Ruoruo's direction and smiled, just noticing the change in Ye Ruoruo's expression.
It's somewhat possible to guess that she was the one who called the police.
"That woman called the police. Shouldn't she be taken back for investigation?"
The man pointed at Ye Ruoruo.
The captain nodded. "Of course I will take her back for investigation later."
After a brief greeting, the captain and his men left, taking Ye Ruoruo with them.
Ye Ruoruo was confused the whole time. She originally thought that Xie Ruoruo would be arrested and put in jail, after all, she did have a gun. However, Xie Ruoruo was not arrested, but was taken into the police car instead?
