"What exactly are you trying to say? Senior Zhou Zhou, I don't think we're that close, are we? Senior Yan Zhen isn't here today, so there's no need for you to try and get my attention!" Su Miao said.
"What? I'm trying to get attention? Su Miao, you think too highly of yourself! Who do you think you are!" Zhou Zhou sneered as if he had heard a joke.
"Hehe, I don't think I'm anyone special. Didn't you come looking for me, senior? I'm sitting right here. Or maybe I misunderstood, and you just wanted to... chat with me?"
Haha, that's impossible, isn't it?
How could a rich girl like Zhou Zhou possibly want to chat with her?
Isn't this beneath her dignity?
Sure enough, upon hearing Su Miao's words, Zhou Zhou's face showed a disdainful expression, "I want to chat with you? Su Miao, your skin has really gotten thicker."
She's the daughter of the prestigious Zhou Group, why would she come specifically to chat with Su Miao? She just saw her and Huo Yanting together, so she came over out of curiosity to take a look and, incidentally, to mock her a bit.

Upon hearing this, Zhou Zhou felt that what Su Miao said made a lot of sense, so he gave Su Miao a haughty glance and left.
Her direction was naturally toward Huo Yanting.

Zhou Zhou walked gracefully to where Huo Yanting was, holding a glass of red wine she had just picked up from where she had passed by. "Mr. Huo, I am Zhou Zhou. I would like to offer you a toast."
Huo Yanting heard someone call his name, so he turned around and saw a strange woman.
The woman looked at him with a gentle smile and raised her glass to him.
Huo Yanting only frowned subconsciously, but still drank a glass with her.
In business, you naturally come into contact with many people. You can't refuse to associate with someone just because you dislike them; that won't do you any good.
However, when Zhou Zhou saw Huo Yanting drinking with her, she became bolder and took another step closer to Huo Yanting.
The soft light in her eyes became even more pronounced. "President Huo, I am the daughter of the Zhou family, and my father is Zhou Jianguo. In a way, my family and the Huo family are somewhat related."
"Oh." Huo Yanting uttered only an "oh," his tone indifferent and cold.
He clearly didn't want to have much interaction with Zhou Zhou.
“Mr. Huo, why don’t we go over there and have a proper chat? Our Zhou family is actually also looking forward to some kind of cooperation with the Huo family.” Zhou Zhou cast a meaningful glance at Huo Yanting, his eyes glancing at an empty balcony at the banquet.
"Is that so?" Huo Yanting uttered two words indifferently, making it impossible to guess his emotions.
Zhou Zhou thought Huo Yanting had agreed to her request, and she was overjoyed. But the next second, she heard Huo Yanting say, "The Zhou family and the Huo family are worlds apart. Let's forget about cooperation!"
After saying that, Huo Yanting, with his long legs, left the place where Zhou Zhou was.
This woman is delusional to think she has feelings for him. She doesn't even look at her own appearance. She's just being delusional!
Zhou Zhou's smile froze instantly. She never expected that Huo Yanting was even more difficult to deal with than Huo Yanzhen. With just one sentence, he widened the gap between the Zhou family and the Huo family.
