"Which batch of test participants were you in? I don't think I've seen you before."
Joey became even more certain that something had definitely happened to Jiang Nian.

Joey smiled and extended her hand: "Hello, my name is Joey, nice to meet you."
"Are you the Chinese transfer student who just transferred to Class 1 today? I'm in the class next to yours."
"I really like China and I can speak Chinese. I think we can be friends."
Jiang Nian did not reach out her hand.
He simply nodded, subtly creating distance, and replied with a curt, "Hello."
"However, I don't need friends."
Then he turned and left.
Watching her retreating figure, Joey's eyes almost burned with fire, and his face was full of excitement.
