Chapter 13 Preparing to Use Backdoors

Daylight broke, the sun rose, and a ray of warm sunlight shone on the floor-to-ceiling windows draped with pink curtains.

A slender, fair arm emerged from the pink blanket. She then grabbed the blanket and covered her neck, revealing her delicate face.

Suya, having had a good night's sleep, was in excellent condition, looking refreshed and energized.

A moment later, there was a knock on the door.

"Ya Ya, are you up? It's time to come down and have breakfast. Skipping breakfast is bad for your health."

"Okay, Dad."

After a quick wash, I chose a white T-shirt and black pants, tied my hair in a ponytail, and looked very youthful and beautiful.

As soon as she stepped out of the elevator, she saw Su's father sitting alone at a dining table not far away, saying to her, "Ya Ya, come here quickly."

Su Ya greeted her father as she approached him.

Good morning, Dad.

"Good morning."

Immediately afterwards, Su Ya sat down next to her father, where various breakfasts were already laid out on the table.

"Dad didn't know what you liked to eat for breakfast, so he asked the kitchen to make a little bit of everything. Try this bun; it's even better than the ones from that old-established shop in Kyoto."

After saying that, he placed a small, delicate bun on the plate in front of Su Ya.

Su Ya picked up a steamed bun. The bun had eighteen pleats, each the same size. She gently put it in her mouth, took a bite, and a mouthful of soup squeezed out, leaving a lingering fragrance in her mouth.

It's really good.

Seeing that Su Ya liked it, Su's father picked up another bun and put it on her plate. He even secretly glanced at Su Ya's expression, afraid that his daughter would be unhappy.

Su Ya noticed her father's gaze, but she felt he looked somewhat humble. She knew he was trying to make amends and was deliberately trying to please her, but the past was the past, and Su Ya didn't think she had lived a bad life in the past. She truly didn't need her father to act like this. If it continued like this every day, Su Ya would eventually lose her appetite. For the sake of her stomach, Su Ya decided to talk to her father and make things clear.

So, Su Ya put down her chopsticks. Looking calmly at her father, she said, "Dad, I don't think you really need to do this. I'm fine with whatever I eat. We're family. Don't treat me like a guest, okay?"

"Yes, yes, we are family. Ya Ya, please help yourself to whatever you want to eat."

Early in the morning, Su Qinghai's assistant called him, saying that he had arranged for him to meet the principal of Kyoto No. 1 Middle School at 10 a.m.

"Ya Ya, I'll take you to register at Kyoto No. 1 High School later."

"Okay, Dad."

Su Ya understood from her grandfather's meaning that she had to attend Kyoto No. 1 High School, and to comply with his wishes, she didn't voice her objections. Although she felt the school's teachers were rather mediocre, and there was no one left to teach her.

I've already explained it to Mr. Su.

So the rest of the meal was very enjoyable.

After dinner, the driver was already waiting at the villa entrance.

Su Ya and her father got into the car to go to Kyoto No. 1 Middle School.

At this time, Su Hui got up. Today was Sunday, and she didn't need to go to school, but Su Hui always had high standards for herself and got up before 8 o'clock sharp.

As she got off the elevator, she saw Su Ya and her father leaving the house.

She wondered what Su's father and the others were doing so early.

Seeing that Su Hui had gotten up, the maid quickly went to prepare breakfast.

Su Ya noticed that there were still leftovers from her father and the others on the table, making it several times more lavish than usual.

However, Su Hui usually only eats Western food in the morning.

The maid brought Su Hui's breakfast: a fried egg, slightly browned toast, a glass of hot milk, and a plate of fruit salad.

As Su Ya ate her meal with elegant posture, she asked as if it were an unintentional question, "What did my dad and sister go to do?"

The maid felt there was no need to hide it, so she replied, "It seems that the master took the young lady to Kyoto No. 1 Middle School to meet some people."

Upon hearing this, Su Hui's fork made a screeching sound as it scraped against the plate.

A maid standing nearby quickly asked, "Second Miss, are you alright?"

Yes, yesterday, all the servants at the villa received a notice that from now on, they should call Su Ya "Miss" and Su Hui "Second Miss".

"Oh, I'm fine. Could you please get me a different plate?"

"Okay, Miss, please wait a moment."

After the servants left, Su Hui revealed a vicious expression: "Damn Su Ya."

How could she not hate it? Her grades were only a few points below those of Kyoto No. 1 High School, but her father absolutely refused to use connections to get her in, saying it wouldn't look good for a young lady of the prestigious Su family to use back channels, and it wouldn't look good if other families heard about it. Fortunately, Su Hui barely managed to get into Kyoto No. 1 High School thanks to her extra points in the arts.

Throughout the past year, she has never dared to relax, for fear of bringing shame upon the Su family.

But Su Ya had barely arrived and hadn't even settled in when her father started trying to get her into Kyoto No. 1 High School through connections.

Seeing the maid come out with a plate, Su Hui instantly dropped the creepy expression on her face and transformed back into the elegant second young lady.

On the bus, Su's father was surprised to find that Principal Wang had scheduled the appointment for the morning. He had been waiting for his younger brother, Su Qingsheng, to bring Su Ya's file home, but it seemed there wouldn't be enough time.

So he called Su Qingsheng and said, "Qingsheng, take Su Ya's academic records to the gate of Beijing No. 1 High School. I'll be waiting for you there."

After the person on the other end said something, Su's father hung up the phone.

Why is Kyoto No. 1 Middle School considered the best middle school in Kyoto? Located in the heart of Kyoto, it is a technologically advanced and modern middle school.

Kyoto No. 1 High School not only boasts a strong faculty, but many of the students at the China Research Institute are also from Kyoto No. 1 High School. It can be said that entering Kyoto No. 1 High School is like obtaining a passport to success.

The school is divided into junior high school and senior high school, with regular classes and experimental classes. The school has teaching buildings, laboratory buildings, library and science building, student dormitories, sports fields, and an auditorium that can accommodate 10,000 people at the same time.

There is also an electronic reading room that integrates digital books and educational films, a robotics laboratory, and a dedicated classroom for scientific research learning; as well as a modern gymnasium that integrates swimming, basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, shuffleboard and other sports.

Suya found all of this on the computer yesterday. Since she was going to come to this school, she needed to know something about it.

I forgot to mention that this doting father not only decorated Su Ya's room in pink, but all the high-tech items in the room were also custom-made, including the expensive Apple computer, which was also pink.

An hour later, the car stopped in front of Kyoto No. 1 Middle School.

Then I saw Su Qingsheng standing there, holding a file folder made of kraft paper in his hand.

"Big brother, this is Su Ya's file. Please keep it safe."

"Thanks a lot."

"That's alright, I'm going back now, brother."

"OK."

There was some traffic on the way, and with only twenty minutes left until the agreed time, Su Qinghai led Su Ya straight to Principal Wang's office at Kyoto No. 1 Middle School.

They didn't take out Su Ya's file during the process, and Su Ya tried to bring it up several times, but didn't find an opportunity.

Principal's Office Entrance

"Knock knock knock." Su Qinghai knocked lightly a few times, and the door opened quickly.

Suya saw a middle-aged man inside, who was about 40 years old and wearing a gray suit.

"Old Wang, it's been a long time."

"President Su, it's an honor to have you here. I'm so sorry I didn't greet you properly."

"Come on, we don't need to be so polite."

It was only then that Su Ya learned that her father and Principal Wang were actually university alumni, and had a good relationship.

"Mr. Su, is there something you need from your assistant to arrange a meeting with me?"

"Um, do you remember I have a daughter? She disappeared when she was three years old."

"I remember, so what?"

"I'm telling you, my daughter has been found. This is her."

"Ya Ya, quickly call him Uncle Wang."

Hello, Uncle Wang.

Principal Wang was puzzled. "Then congratulations, President Su."

"There's one more thing I'd like you to help me with."
