Chapter 135 Brawl

With Chinese New Year just a week away, there were many people taking baths. He Ci absolutely refused to wear those slippers, so Su Lei had no choice but to buy him a new pair.

Even with slippers provided, the young master still refused to take off his clothes to wash. Su Lei thought he was being pretentious, so he forcibly pulled and ripped off He Ci's clothes.

Seeing He Ci's eight-pack abs and the fact that his own was bigger than He Ci's, Su Lei felt heartbroken.

Not only Su Lei, but many people in the bathhouse stared at He Ci, especially at his abs and the manhood between his legs. As men, they all began to envy him.

He Ci felt uncomfortable being stared at. He was numb and didn't want to be fussy anymore. This was the countryside, not a port city. He had to learn to adapt. He Ci took a deep breath and endured it.

The bathhouse was divided into two rooms, one for changing clothes and the other for bathing. He Ci was reluctantly dragged inside by Su Lei. There were many people inside, young and old, and the environment was a bit dirty and messy.

He Ci didn't dare go into the pool. He didn't know if these people had any infectious diseases. The shower heads around the pool were also crowded with people, with almost two or three people sharing one.

At this moment, He Ci would rather catch a cold than take a shower here. Seeing his dazed look, Su Lei pushed him to the nearest showerhead.

"Uncle, this is my brother-in-law. Let him wash with you."

The old man had met He Ci during the day; he greeted him with a kind smile.

"Young man, you must be from the city! This is how it is in our countryside, don't be so particular. I'm going up now, so this spot is yours."

After He Ci thanked him, the old man left. Suddenly, there was a commotion outside, and soon several young men walked in.

When people saw them, they quickly moved the showerhead aside. These guys were street thugs in the village who just loafed around all day, getting into fights and brawls. People who knew them quickly moved aside.

Liu Jun walked up to He Ci and arrogantly took his place. He thought this guy was really clueless.

"Hey! Get the hell out of here, my brothers and I are going to take a shower, you fucking get the hell away from me."

Su Lei went over and pulled He Ci aside. They couldn't afford to mess with these thugs; they'd heard they had a bunch of brothers in the county town.

"Brother-in-law, we'll wash later, so please let them have it first."

Liu Jun's lackey, Er Mao, walked up to He Ci with disdain and stopped. He pointed his middle finger down twice, and He Ci felt that he had been provoked.

"Get out of the way! I'm going to take a shower. What are you looking at, you piece of trash?"

He Ci narrowed his eyes, and those who knew him well knew that he was angry. This was the first time someone had ever scolded him to his face.

"Say what you said again?"

Er Mao sneered, "Can't you understand human language? I'm cursing you, you piece of trash."

He Ci wasn't going to put up with him. When it came to fighting, he had never been afraid of anyone. This guy dared to yell at him. He didn't take these thugs seriously at all.

"Do you want to die, or do you want me to teach you how to be a human being?"

When Su Lei heard He Ci say these words, his scalp tingled. The police couldn't do anything about this group of people; they could just endure it and it would pass.

"Brother-in-law, forget it. They're not people we can mess with. It's just a showerhead. We'll just give it to them."

Er Mao reached out to slap He Ci's face, but was instead thrown to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw. Er Mao cursed loudly in pain.

"You piece of trash, how dare you hit me? Do you know who I am?"

Seeing his brother being beaten, Liu Jun ordered his underlings to teach He Ci a lesson, but Su Lei quickly stepped in front of He Ci.

"Brother Jun, it's a misunderstanding! A misunderstanding! He's my brother-in-law who just arrived. Please be magnanimous and don't take it to heart."

Liu Jun sized He Ci up and down. "You're the one the village calls the son-in-law who marries into his wife's family. You really do look presentable?"

He Ci punched Liu Jun on the bridge of his nose. Even if he was a live-in son-in-law, he was not someone Liu Jun could insult. He was courting death.

Liu Jun covered his nose, blood seeping from between his fingers, and Liu Jun became furious and embarrassed.

"Damn it, come at me together and kill this bastard."

Su Lei couldn't just watch He Ci get beaten up, otherwise he wouldn't be able to explain it to his sister when he got home. These people were not to be trifled with; they would run into each other all the time in the village. If He Ci offended these people, he was afraid that He Ci would not have a good life in the future.
