Chapter 19 Losing Money

Su Ning hadn't walked far when someone suddenly bumped into her, causing her to stumble and almost fall to the ground with a sharp pain in her shoulder.

The man who hit her looked fierce. Su Ning didn't want to cause trouble and turned to leave. When the man saw Su Ning's appearance, he grinned lewdly.

"Miss, you think you can just walk away after bumping into someone?"

Su Ning was blocked in her way, and she spoke timidly.

"You're the one who bumped into me."

The man persisted, "You're the one who hit me, pay me back or..."

Just as the man's groping hand was about to touch Su Ning's smooth, fair face, it was caught by a small hand, and the girl spoke playfully.

"What if we don't pay compensation?"

As the man watched another pretty young girl approach, he was about to make a move when the girl grabbed his wrist. Suddenly, there was a snapping sound, and the man let out a pig-like squeal.

"My hand, you bitch, my hand is broken."

The man was in so much pain that he wanted to tear the girl in front of him apart. Bai Weiwei pulled Su Ning back and then kicked the man to the ground with a side kick.

Bai Weiwei stomped on the man's chest, "Pah! You scoundrel, you're not ashamed to bully a girl like that."

The man grabbed Bai Weiwei's foot, which was pressing against his chest, and said, "You bitch, let me go right now, or I'll make you regret it."

Su Ning didn't want to cause trouble, so she reached out and tugged at Bai Weiwei.

"Fine, just let him go!"

Looking at Su Ning's soft-hearted nature, Bai Weiwei said, "Even if I help you, this kind of person should be sent to jail."

Seeing that Su Ning was easier to talk to, the man begged for mercy from her.

"Miss, I haven't done anything to you, please have mercy and let her let me go!"

Bai Weiwei glared at Su Ning, "You dare to plead for him? He was just about to flirt with you."

Su Ning stopped talking. The girl was right. If it hadn't been her, she would have been the one who was hurt.

The man pleaded in anguish, "My two ladies were wrong just now, what will it take for you to let me go?"

Bai Weiwei was just waiting for him to say that! "I saw you hit her just now, pay up."

Su Ning looked at Bai Weiwei, wondering if this was extortion. She herself wasn't injured, but the man on the ground had a broken hand.

Without saying a word, the man took a wallet out of his pocket with his uninjured hand and handed it to Bai Weiwei.

"This is all I have. Do you think it's enough?"

Bai Weiwei took the man's wallet, took out two hundred yuan, and handed it to Su Ning.

"Here, this is the money he paid for your medical expenses."

Su Ning didn't answer; she felt that it was no different from robbing someone in the street.

Seeing Su Ning standing there motionless, Bai Weiwei casually stuffed the money into her hand.

"What are you afraid of! He won't dare to retaliate, right!"

Bai Weiwei ground her foot hard into the man's chest again, and the man nodded in pain.

"Grandma, how could I dare to retaliate against you? Please, just let me go!"

Bai Weiwei withdrew her foot with satisfaction. "You're smart to know what's good for you. Consider this a lesson learned. Not everyone is someone you can mess with."

After being freed, the man disappeared in a flash. Su Ning looked at the two hundred yuan in her hand and stuffed it back into the girl's hand.

"I don't want this money, thank you for what you just said."

Bai Weiwei looked at Su Ning and said, "Hey, you're really stubborn. This is for medical expenses."

Su Ning smiled and said, "I wasn't injured either. On the contrary, the person you just beat up was quite badly."

Bai Weiwei thought she had seen many beautiful women, but she had never seen a delicate and innocent girl like Su Ning before. In particular, her smile was as warm and comforting as a spring breeze in March.

Bai Weiwei stretched out her hand in front of Su Ning, "My name is Bai Weiwei, Bai as in daytime and Wei as in crape myrtle flower."

Su Ning politely extended her hand, after all, the other person had just saved her.

"Hello! My name is Su Ning, thank you."

Bai Weiwei, ever the friendly type, grabbed Su Ning's hand. Why was it that, even though they were both girls, Su Ning's hands were so soft and her body smelled so good? She was determined to bring her home and make her her sister-in-law.
