Su Ning didn't know what was wrong with He Ci. She used to feel heartbroken when she saw her get even a little bit hurt, but now she had personally stabbed herself in the back.

Su Ning smiled sadly, "Fine! You want to kill me? Then do it!"
Su Ning was gambling, gambling on whether He Ci would really dare to kill her. Looking at the swaying curtains in front of the window, Su Ning collapsed to the ground.

It was already dark when they got home. Bai Yi instructed the servants to take Su Ning back to her room before leaving.

"Bai Yi, you and Su Su are getting too close. Don't cross the line. Also, what your mother said is already affecting her."
Bai Yi's expression turned cold. "I said I would handle it. You don't need to remind me all the time."
Cui Ying also got angry, "If you could handle it properly, Su Su wouldn't have run away from home."
Bai Yi's heart tightened. Perhaps he was overthinking it. How could Su Ning have gone out to relax just because he went on a blind date?
He had seen how much Su Ning loved He Ci. In the three years he had lived, he had never dared to hope that Su Ning would reciprocate his feelings. In fact, things were fine as they were, at least he could see her every day.
Su Ning woke up the next morning. She called A Rang to the villa. Cui Ying was there without her having to call anyone. Once everyone was there, Su Ning got down to business.
"A-Rang, call Ali back!"
A-Rang was puzzled! "Su-Su, are you going to abandon the young master? If Ali comes back, who will look for him?"
Cui Ying didn't say anything. Her job now was to protect Su Ning. Bai Yi's intentions were so obvious, and she didn't want her wife to be gone when He Shao came home.
Su Ning's next words surprised and delighted the two of them: "Brother Ci is alive, he's back."
Ah Rang's eyes welled up with tears of excitement. After three years, there was finally news. Cui Ying was also very happy. Now that Young Master He was back, she wouldn't have to keep an eye on his wife anymore.
Su Ning touched the injury on her shoulder, her voice somewhat downcast.
