It was already afternoon when they finished eating. He Ci and Su Qiang had drunk quite a bit of alcohol, and Su Ning drove them back.
Su Qiang was drunk and Li Mei nagged him a lot along the way. He Ci wasn't drunk, but he looked pretty much the same.
When He Ci got home, his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and saw that it was a call from Hong Kong.

When Su Ning came up, He Ci hung up the phone. There were some things He Ci didn't say and she didn't ask; they both needed their own private space.
In Hong Kong, Olsen waited for three days without receiving a reply from Bai Yi. If Bai Yi agreed so easily, he would suspect something was amiss.
Olsen was still thinking about how to win Bai Yi over, but he didn't know how much affection Bai Yi had for his sister, or whether he would switch sides for Oulin.
