Side Story 5: Misunderstanding

After tossing and turning all night, Ou Yan finally fell asleep at dawn. Li Jianyi and Ou Sen were talking about something in the main building! In the end, the two parted on bad terms.

Olsen had to admit that Ou Yan was outstanding; he wished he were really his son.

The reason I named him "Nightmare" was to warn myself not to be soft-hearted towards this child. His arrival was the beginning of disaster. They say that children pay for their fathers' sins, so don't blame him for being ruthless.

Ou Yan slept until noon. When he woke up, he saw a refined and handsome man sitting by his bed. Mo Bai saw that he was awake and then turned his back to continue sleeping.

"Ou Yan, I heard that Blackie attacked us last night. Are you alright?"

Ou Yan pulled the blanket over his head and said, "Get out."

Mo Bai wasn't angry. He reached out and pulled back the blanket, then lay down on it.

Ou Yan sat up abruptly. "Is my reputation not bad enough? If you come a couple more times, people will start spreading rumors that we can both have children."

Mo Bai put his hands behind his head. "You didn't say you minded, so I thought you actually liked these kinds of rumors!"

Without any hesitation, Ou Yan kicked him off the bed, saying, "I'm a man, if you ever climb into my bed again, I'll kill you."

Mo Bai deliberately acted coy, then climbed onto the bed and hugged Ou Yan's waist, giving it a few squeezes.

"Ugh, I just like sleeping with you! Can you be gentler next time?"

Just then, the door was pushed open, and Olsen saw the two people on the bed. He snorted angrily and then turned and left.

Er Gou never expected that Young Master Ou Yan would be doing this kind of thing in broad daylight! The Boss had finally come to see him, and now he was going to be unhappy again.

Ou Yan sighed, realizing he was in deep trouble. Everyone in the village knew he liked men, and who knew what rumors would spread!

Sure enough, when Ou Yan passed by, he occasionally heard people talking about him. Those people just smiled fakely, which annoyed Ou Yan.

"You know, how could someone as handsome as Young Master Ou Yan like men? I just don't know if he would even look at someone like me."

Ou Yan stumbled and almost fell. Good news doesn't travel far, but bad news travels fast. This Mo Bai is specifically designed to jinx him. He must break off their friendship.

When Ou Yan arrived at the main building, Ou Sen gave him a cold shoulder, and the little bit of affection that the father and son had just begun to reconcile vanished instantly.

“Break off with that man. You are the young master here, how can you let the people below laugh at you? If you can’t bear to do it, I will handle it.”

Ou Yan was afraid that his father would really kill Mo Bai, so he didn't want to explain! The rumors had already spread outside, and he had heard even more unpleasant things.

"I understand, I'll send him away."

At the airport, Mo Bai reluctantly let go, like lovers reluctant to part, attracting a crowd of onlookers. Ou Yan knew that this guy was trying to disgust him.

"Get out of here, and don't let me see you again."

Mo Bai was about to start his performance again when Ou Yan walked away without looking back. Watching Ou Yan's lonely figure, Mo Bai shouted loudly.

“Ou Yan, come visit Hong Kong sometime. I’ll remember you as a friend.”

Mo Bai met Ou Yan at an underground auction house. At the time, he was locked in a cage and about to be auctioned off when Ou Yan saved him. He didn't know if he would ever have a chance to repay this favor.

Mo Bai got off the plane in the middle of the night. He planned to find a hotel to stay in for the night and go home in the morning.

As soon as he exited the airport, he saw a familiar van in the distance. He quickly ran over and got into the car, startling his assistant.

"Who are you! Get out of the car right now or I'll call the police."

Mo Bai looked at the girl sitting opposite him and greeted her with a smile.

"Chengcheng, what a coincidence! You don't mind if your brother hitches a ride, do you?"

Bai Mucheng rolled her eyes. "Now that you're up here, how can I tell you to kick me out?"

Mo Bai, with a grin, started trying to get closer to her, "Little Chengcheng, did you miss your brother? Come here and let your brother give you a hug."

Bai Mucheng couldn't help but tease, "I didn't expect you to come back alive. How come you weren't kicked in the kidneys?"

Speaking of this, Mo Bai looked heartbroken. If he hadn't encountered Ou Yan, getting kidney damage would have been a minor matter; he just didn't know if he would have survived.
