Chapter 5 Shopping Spree, Living with My Wife

Chapter 5 Shopping Spree, Living with My Wife

Sersia's ears immediately burned. Hillan smiled and gently kissed his fingertips. The action was not ambiguous. It was like casually placing a flower under his nose and gently smelling it. It was so peaceful and light, completely different from the ferocious male insect he had just been.

Sersia's ear tips were already frighteningly red, which Hillland could see clearly, along with her blushing cheeks.

“Cersia is so cute.” Hillan was already smitten, but because he had put on a show in front of his wife, he just smiled, slowly folded his hands under his chin, and blinked. “I still don’t want anyone to bully my queen, so it’s understandable that I act bad in front of others, right?”

Sersia's face visibly flushed redder and redder, her pale complexion as if painted with the color of peach blossoms. Her long, snow-white hair swayed slightly in the wind, and her noble and aloof expression seemed to have encountered something extremely embarrassing, turning into a pool of spring water.

Hillland smiled and asked, "What time did you get up? It's getting a bit late making all this. Have you eaten yet?"

The insectoids' food is similar to that of humans. His queen got up and cooked before him, making shrimp porridge and multigrain steamed buns, which looked very appetizing. There was also a cup of soaked black rice and purple sweet potato milk next to it.

I remember the female insect takes cooking classes, so his wife must be a top student.

Sersia seemed stunned, and honestly shook her head, "No."

Hillland was charmed by her cuteness again. He nodded, divided the food in half, and shared it with his wife. "I was going to cook for you, but since you cooked, I won't stand on ceremony. It looks very appetizing, and I really like it."

He picked it up and ate it naturally. When he tasted a particularly delicious piece of chicken breast, he specifically praised it and then used a fork to feed his female lord a bite.

Sersia had never experienced such a dining atmosphere before. His cooking class grades were barely passing because the teachers there loved to say things that made female insects grovel. Sersia didn't want to listen, and when he got home, he was also ordered to eat elegantly and politely. Such casualness and noise would be punished.

But when Hillland casually pulled him into a conversation, Sersia abandoned all pretense of manners and chatted with Hillland as if no one else was around, unable to resist prickling up her ears to listen to what Hillland had to say.

Right here in this small courtyard where Bering could burst out and start cursing at any moment.

Hillan was used to being casual, and he hadn't had time to get to know his queen, so he just asked her directly.

Does Cecilia have a nickname?

Sersia shook her head. "I don't have a nickname. Does Your Majesty have one?"

Hillland smiled and said, "I don't have one either, but you can call me Xiaobai or Xiaolan, or just call me Xiongzhu outside, and husband at home. It depends on your mood. If you're unhappy or angry, just call me Hillland, and I'll know and comfort you."

That's how his parents are. Whenever any one of them gets angry, they come home and call out everyone else's full name, launching into a long tirade. Then the other two are responsible for comforting them, taking them out for a meal, shopping, or a trip.

Hillland grew up in a relaxed and harmonious family environment, and now that he's married, he wants to bring that same family atmosphere to his wife.

Thinking about it, Hillland really wanted to ask something, "Baby, do you have a place to stay? We need to find a place to stay first. If we don't have time to buy a place, we can stay in a hotel first?"

Sersia's eyes widened. "Baby...?"

Hillland blinked and couldn't help but laugh, "Yes, it's baby, I'm calling Cecilia baby."

Sersia felt like he was going to die. His whole body seemed to be smoking. His elegance, his reserve and indifference all disappeared, leaving only endless embarrassment and shame. Sersia felt like he was going to break down. He lowered his head and didn't speak, like a shivering mimosa.

How come there are male insects like this?

Sersia's expression became quite beautiful, like a haughty little stray who had been suddenly stuffed with a cat treat, all the thorns on the insect's body turning into fluffy, soft fur, and it would purr and start riding a motorcycle after being touched.

Hillland didn't have an ideal type, but now she does.

His wife is so cute!!!

After chatting for a while, they finished eating. Hillland threw the cutlery into the trash can and naturally pulled his mistress to the community entrance to hail a taxi.

"Will the new house be dusty? Should I hire a cleaning company to clean it up first?"

Hillland was genuinely curious about the lives of the wealthy. Although his predecessor had been considered wealthy, he wasn't; his family could only be described as moderately well-off.

As Cecilia was being led by the hand, she saw Hillan's genuinely curious expression and her cheeks slowly flushed. "No, there's always someone cleaning it. Maintaining the villa doesn't cost much. I own many properties."

Hillland nodded with sparkling eyes, "Do you have a cozy house? Which one would you like to stay in? Is there a shopping street nearby? I'd like to go shopping with you there."

Sersia felt himself being clung to by something very sweet, and he just really liked it, nodding with his ears turning red.

Once Hillland got the address, he hailed a taxi. The Zerg's technology was far more advanced than that of Earth. Before long, a hovercar appeared in front of him. Hillland observed it for a moment and then successfully and naturally opened the car door.

"Baby, sit inside."

The blush that had just faded from Sersia's face returned. He had never imagined that he had this side to him, a side that was hard to talk about, yet he really liked it.

"good."

He clearly got full marks in his academic subjects, but now he keeps running out of words. Sersia's proudest qualities are his meticulous thinking and strategic planning, but all of these are completely neutralized in the face of a straightforward approach, leaving him only pitifully dull.

Sersia felt that he couldn't continue to be so passive; he had been letting Hillland ramble on all by himself.

There were no insects in the car. Sersia lowered her eyes and reached out her hand as Hillan sat down, taking his hand in hers.

The female insect's hands are very cold, with only a slight body temperature, completely different from when her passion is surging.

Hillland paused for a moment, then turned to look in Sersia's direction. He didn't look at him, his eyes lowered, his beautiful pupils hidden. When he noticed Hillland looking over, he simply pursed his lips innocently, his nervousness visible to the naked eye, as if he had made a lot of mental preparations.

So good.

Hillland smiled and quietly intertwined her fingers with his. "Let's go home and rest for a bit. The marriage registration office doesn't open until this afternoon."

99 is already dead, Kaka is taking pictures of their hands holding each other, and secretly taking close-up shots of Sersia's reddened ear tips.

It secretly sent a message to Hillan's personal computer: "Your wife really likes you. Her female insect heart rate is over 158, and it drops to 279 when she touches you."

No wonder she blushes so easily.

Hillland blinked and secretly thanked 99 who had sent the message.

99 happily grabbed the candy and ran off.

The hovercar was fast; it arrived at Hillland's desired home in just five minutes. There were many cars rushing by, and a special membrane separated the people inside, making it impossible to see what they looked like inside.

Hillland made no attempt to hide her astonishment and lack of worldly experience. She was quite happy as she pulled Sersia out of the hovercar, saying, "It's so beautiful, baby. Now that we've changed our relationship, will you come out and play with me?"

Sersia's ears turned red from being called, but she only gave a reserved and indifferent "hmm," tightened her grip on Hillan's hand, and gently pulled him to follow her. Her attention was now focused on Sersia again.

Sersia took him back to their home.

This is a 500-square-meter single-level apartment with an architectural style that is very different from human architecture. The magnificent sense of technology is fully displayed in it. When riding the panoramic elevator that is rising at high speed, Hillland was really stunned.

So beautiful! His wife is incredibly capable!

It could be considered marrying into a wealthy family (not really).

They went straight into the apartment on the floor. There was one apartment per floor. Sersia registered all the permissions for the apartment for him. As soon as he opened the door, Hillan was attracted by the warm and soft decor inside.

His eyes widened, and he eagerly touched it, his dark pupils seemingly turning into stars. "Wow, so beautiful! So beautiful!!!"

A cozy living room space where you can play badminton, only seen in videos.

I love it!

Sersia found Hillland's curiosity about everything cute and endearing, so she opened her personal terminal and bought the male insect a lot of games for all ages. She didn't know what Hillland liked, so she also bought him dolls and some educational toys.

If they're efficient, it should arrive today.

After buying the insects, Sersia discovered that the male insects were missing. Hearing a noise in the bedroom, she went over and saw Hillan making a strange exclamation while looking at the bed, saying, "Is this what the CEO's 800-square-meter bed looks like when he wakes up?"

Sersia couldn't understand.

Hillland came running to him after she finished exploring the house, her face full of anticipation.

"Cersia, are you tired? If you're not, let's go out and buy some groceries. We'll eat out for lunch and then buy some groceries to cook dinner."

Hillland blinked; he really liked the feeling of being at home, it made him feel very safe.

Thinking about it, Hillland tilted his head with a smile, while Sersia looked completely charmed by his cuteness, her ears turning red as she turned her head away, her voice soft, "Okay."

Hillland couldn't help but beam with joy, and he quickly pulled his wife out the door.

Hillland strolled around happily all morning. He was a head taller than a normal male insect, and the insects passing by almost all mistook him for a beautiful female insect. In addition, Cecilia's outstanding appearance attracted the attention of many insects on the way.

Hillland didn't take it to heart. The Zerg's business model was similar to that of the human world, but their propaganda was very poor. Perhaps this was where the protagonist would begin.

He quickly put it out of his mind and focused on shopping with his wife, buying household items in pairs.

Male insects are generally fragile, like expensive things, are hard to satisfy, and require a lot of money and energy to build up and care for them.

But Sersia only felt that her male master was clingy. He wanted everything he liked, and he would ask for her opinion on things that were for both of them. He would smile and cling to her arm around her. After walking around for a while, Sersia, who originally disliked going out and shopping, was led to fall in love with shopping. She would even squat down with Hillan and pick out things she liked without caring about others.

When it was time to pay, Hillan was waiting for the scan, and then she could pay by fingerprint.

He saw something, slowly looked away, and then honestly looked back.

It turns out there's no such thing as a "byt" in this world; they're all just for adding to the fun.

Hillland blinked, picked up a box of ointment that could make insects sensitive. It was a very safe and slow-selling product, which Hillland thought was suitable and that she might need it in the future. She decided to try it on herself first.
