Chapter 560 A Wrongful Conviction with No One to Responsible (19)

Sheheguang couldn't accept this even with her own thoughts. It was physically disgusting, and she felt extremely uncomfortable. Accepting her partner having intimate relations with other people was something she could never tolerate.

Pu Kui gazed at the Heart Heart Hotel in the distance, recalling the past. "For Sun Ao's mother, her husband was everything. Once, that old man, Sun's father, was at a banquet outside. He got drunk and tried to touch the bride. A commotion broke out at the table, and the bride immediately took off her red flower and left. She didn't say anything, but when she got home, she said that the woman was really ignorant and didn't know how to give her man face in public. Her man must be ashamed of her."

Shekh: "I really hate the word 'sensible'."

"Let's change it again." Shi Jinzhe said, piloting the paper airplane, "It would be more appropriate to change it to 'compromise'."

“She’s quite pitiful too.” Pu Kui said, noticing the surprised looks on Shehe and Shi Jinzhe’s faces. “When I saw her keeping vigil for her grandson’s father, she laughed loudly at the corpse, laughing with a mixture of hatred and pleasure. But after laughing, she burst into tears, saying what she would do without her husband. She was very conflicted.”

Shi Jinzhe: "The laughter was the true feeling that came out of her heart. She also hated Sun's father, but the ideas she had been taught over the years and the behavior of the people around her forced her to use the template of grief for losing her husband to express her sadness. She cried for herself, not for her husband."

He asked Pu Kui to confirm, "Is the only pleasure in Grandma Sun's life chatting with others about everyday things?"

"Well, sometimes I just don't understand what she's trying to do. She'll scold Sun Ao for just living his life like that, for not having any true love, and for telling him to stop thinking about that man. She'll say that everyone just covers their head with bedding and lives like that. But sometimes she'll say that Sun Ao just doesn't know how good I am. Once he understands, he'll love me. If he didn't love me, she wouldn't have spent her whole life with Sun's father and even had children with him."

"It's just self-hypnosis from different perspectives. People who have truly experienced love wouldn't have such doubts."

Shi Jinzhe understood this feeling very well. During the twenty years he grew up in the Cheng family, this question had appeared in his mind many times. The first two or three times could be attributed to his youth and lack of understanding, and his inability to comprehend the way his parents expressed their love. So he would keep hypnotizing himself. But when he questioned it for the twentieth or thirtieth time, Shi Jinzhe knew that they did not love him.

He remembered the first words he heard in the whispers, which were very harsh, so he asked Pu Kui, "Sun Ao's mother treated you very badly, didn't she?"

Pu Kui glanced at the golden-purple specks of light in the mist before saying, "They'll occasionally give you a friendly look."

Shi Jinzhe said, "By example and words, Sun Ao is a reflection of his parents. If you think there is something wrong with this person, his parents' problems are even bigger than his."

Sun's mother could accept her husband's intimacy with other women, so Sun Ao could too. The child wasn't his, but he was willing to accept it for the sake of his love.

However, their "love" does not accept the victim. Self-hypnosis requires a turning point of contradiction. This is why some people like to blame the third party entirely for the mistake of cheating.

Pu Kui, as a victim, is portrayed as a promiscuous and unclean perpetrator in the minds of the mother and son. They both hate Pu Kui, which is why Sun Ao's mother goes to find Pu Kui, and even after Sun Ao dies, she still goes to find Pu Kui to vent her anger.

Under their self-hypnosis, a black mist that could project their psychology onto real red flesh and blood and amplify negative emotions targeted them.

Shi Jinzhe asked, "Where did Sun Ao die?"

Pu Kui: "I don't know. He hated me for letting everyone know that he liked men. After the Sun family killed me, they sold me to someone else for a ghost marriage. The first thing I did when I regained consciousness was to come back and kill him. As for where he went after he died, I don't know."

After a moment of contemplation, Shi Jinzhe said, "Let's find Sun Ao's mother first; we might be able to find clues from her."

The paper airplane wobbled and floated, the Heart Hotel was right in front of me, but I didn't immediately fly down; I observed it for a while first.

Sher inspected the house, and when he passed the third-floor window, he glanced inside. The broken 304 had been restored to its original state, and everything inside the building was normal.

She approached Pu Kui and asked, "Are there no living people left in Pu County?"

"No, the people inside the cement road outside the county town are all fake."

As soon as Pu Kui finished speaking, a gust of wind suddenly blew her hair wildly.

The strands of hair stung her face. She looked ahead at the paper airplane and saw that Shi Jin was also tidying up her hair, which was as messy as her own.

Pu Kui scratched at the embroidery on the hem of her wedding dress with her fingernails, thinking to herself that the strong wind wasn't actually targeting her.

"She's very gentle, you don't need to overthink it."

Shi Jinzhe adjusted the hovering position of the paper airplane, ignoring the scrutinizing gazes behind him. "We're talking about serious matters. She won't be upset just because you talked to me a few more times. And don't worry about people making up eight hundred stories just because you talked to a woman a couple of times. I know you've had that experience, but that's because you encountered a bunch of yes-men. Now, just be a normal person. The wind is strong just because she walked in a bit of a hurry."

Shekh expresses her dislike in a very direct way; she speaks her mind and is ready to fight if necessary. The strong wind that just blew out was simply her accidentally leaving behind some exhaust fumes.

Pu Kui: "In the past, if a man had spoken to me like that, it wouldn't have been long before his wife slapped him."

In their area, anyone who talks to her will be gossiped about. Men are having an affair with her, and women are in cahoots with her. This man is still too young and doesn't know how treacherous society can be.

"You'd better not try to comfort me."

Shi Jinzhe: "..."

He didn't say these things behind Sheikh's back; she's everywhere, and she hears every word he says.

Well, one's mindset can't be changed overnight, but he still had to clarify, "My wife doesn't hit me, and she doesn't like to hit people."

Pu Kui went to see the swirling fog and the collapsed houses; in just a short while, the county town was almost gone.

She felt that Shi Jinzhe should have meant to say the word "kill".

The smoke and dust mixed with the rumbling sounds of the collapse echoed in the early hours of the morning. Shi Jinzhe glanced at the time; it was almost morning. If it weren't for the black fog, we should be able to see some dawn by now.

The county town was flattened by Shekh. Blood seeped from under the collapsed and piled-up cement slabs. The red flesh disguised as humans turned into liquid and escaped, only to be driven away by Shekh towards the location of the Heart Heart Hotel.

The golden-purple starlight appeared light and ethereal, but in reality, it forced the red flesh and blood to retreat. It had to use tremendous power to resist Shekh in order not to be assimilated and absorbed by her.

Ahead lay a platinum-gold net, omnipresent black mist, and four forces pressing against each other. The vibrating air rippled out white waves, and spiraling gold-purple starlight broke through the black and red hues that were trying to merge. The black mist attempted to invade and engulf Sheh, but the fine particles scattered like dust were protected by an impenetrable defensive array. She only needed to focus on her rampage and attack, without any worries.

Sheh searched carefully. On the way here, Shi Jinzhe had already forced some of the black mist out of the mountains. The puppet Sun Ao, which it used to take root in this world, wouldn't be too far from Pu County. She was sure she could find it.

Before long, a twitching piece of red flesh among the fleeing red flesh caught her attention. Compared to the other flesh, this part of the flesh seemed to be heading towards the Heart Heart Hotel on its own initiative.
