Four hours later, there were 14 black dots left on the map.
Midway through, Shi Jinzhe caught two players on the map, and the location time for the Black Faction will be extended by 24 hours, and will be announced at 8:35 pm tomorrow.
Toilet.
A sour-smelling water flowed from a gray slate sink. A man with a thick beard held his breath and put his mouth to the tap.
The stinging liquid made the bearded man hiss violently. He wiped his scorched beard, stuck out his burned tongue in the mirror, and examined the wound.
"Get out of this restroom immediately, right now."
Qi Yuping's voice came from the mirror. The bearded man wanted to ask why he was leaving. He hadn't drunk any water for over ten hours and was unbearably thirsty. He had to give a reason.
He couldn't run anymore, and those few members of the orange faction didn't want to share the supplies, so they all ran away before he even arrived.
The bearded man genuinely didn't understand why Qi Yuping insisted on him teaming up with those useless people.
Thinking this, a slight hint of dissatisfaction crept into his voice: "Could you give me some water first?"
What's the use of saying that? He claims to be a big shot, but I've never seen him give me any items or supplies to carry me. It's all just talk.
"If you want me to leave, then quickly give me some water to drink."
Upon hearing this, Qi Yuping immediately cut off the connection on the other side of the mirror.
The bearded man asked impatiently, "Say something! Why aren't you answering?"
"I think you probably won't get to drink it."
An unfamiliar male voice approached from afar, and another figure appeared in the mirror.
Shi Jinzhe fired a shot with one hand, hitting the mirror. The shattered shards unexpectedly grazed his bearded face. Through the flying lens, another black bullet appeared and disappeared.
That damned ghost is hard to save; when time runs out, you accumulate one more point.
He picked up several items from the pool of blood, rummaged through them, and found one item called "Home of the Little Dog".
Prop: [Puppy House]
Effect: A loyal human companion, allowing you to enjoy five hours of restful sleep while sleeping in your dog's home.
Shi Jinzhe put the props away; perfect timing, he'd use them to rest tonight.
Sher stood guard at the door with one hand outstretched, creating a sense of inseparable distance between the two.
When he came out, he said there were signs that a bomb was heading this way.
Shi Jinzhe looked up and saw that the bomb, which had been moving, had slowed down and was now spinning in place above them.
Ignoring the nearby orange-clad statues, Shekh said, "The bomb is surrounded. Shall we go?"
Shi Jinzhe pondered for two seconds, "Go ahead. This bomb can run for so long even with its location exposed, it must have some capabilities. Since it's been delivered to us, let's take care of it as soon as possible."
The game has been going on for sixteen hours.
Shekh and Shi Jinzhe encountered the bomb players from the Black faction on the covered bridge.
Contrary to their expectations, the bomb player exuded the aura of a desperate housewife.
Wearing a bright red dress, with a somewhat weary look in her eyes, she appeared to be in her early thirties, sitting on a small horizontal step beside the covered bridge, her back against the glass.
A cigarette was held between her fingers, her hair, which had been tied up, was loose and damp with sweat, sticking to her temples, adding a touch of charm to her gentle face.
Sheng Fang was blocked in the covered bridge by eight other people. His gaze passed through the crowd and when he saw the two people, he muttered in a hoarse voice, "Two more have come."
She gazed at their clasped hands for a moment, then looked on with envy. "It's so nice. I wish it could stay this good forever."
She put the cigarette in her mouth, took a deep drag, and her adrenaline surged, restoring her tired mind and body to their peak condition.
Sheng Fang threw the cigarette butt into the crowd, and the red flame ignited instantly, setting the covered bridge ablaze.
The eight men chasing her were all crammed into the covered bridge. Upon seeing this, they immediately turned around and ran away.
Shekh blocked their path, and the flames showed no mercy, quickly spreading to their entire bodies as they climbed.
To clear a path, the people inside endured the pain and used all sorts of strange skills and items on her.
The flames stopped burning in front of Shekh, who then took two steps back and raised his gun at the people in the covered bridge.
Those facing her were petrified, while those with their backs to her were blown to the head.
The system notification announced eight names in a row, but there were still no players from the brown faction map.
As the flames died down, Shi Jinzhe's gun, aimed at Sheng Fang, was held in place by something, a counterforce preventing him from pulling the trigger.
Sheng Fang kept his eyes closed and remained seated.
"Are you from the brown faction?" She tapped her fingers together rhythmically. "Before you came, I heard these people say that there seemed to be two very skilled players in their faction, who were a couple."
The invisible threads weave a large net without anyone noticing. The material is tough and sticky. Sheh tried it with a corrosive liquid, and the corrosion rate was very slow.
She was trapped in this web; the threads couldn't hurt her, but she couldn't break free anytime soon.
Sheng Fang felt the tugging of the threads at his fingertips and struggled against them, relying on his memory before closing his eyes to walk out.
As she passed by Shekh, she seemed to remember something and stopped to say to her, "Do you want to team up with me? I don't think your man is very reliable."
With her melancholic and indifferent eyes, even just standing there impeccably dressed, she exudes a sense of loneliness and desolation.
He looked like he was mourning the dead, just like that scumbag who married her as a substitute. He could just put a tombstone in front of him and start crying at his white moonlight's grave.
"Can you really be trusted?" Sheh moved his fingers and pulled the silk threads binding him, causing Sheng Fang to stumble and almost open his eyes.
“I’m not sure, but I think you have more options, more possible outcomes.”
“Madam.” Shi Jinzhe felt that this bomb player was really ignoring him, so he couldn’t help but correct her: “You may have misunderstood something. In her eyes, no one is as reliable as herself.”
Whether it's him or any other man, Shekh only sees people and non-people.
Sheikh had no idea what the bomb player had gone through, but what she said was completely foreign to him.
“He’s right, that’s how it is.” Just twelve hours ago, she had witnessed Xiao Min repay kindness with enmity. No one was as reliable as herself.
"I don't like you humans, so I don't need anyone else."
"And him?" Sheng Fang asked, his voice trembling.
“He is an exception.” Sheh glanced back at Shi Jinzhe, his little finger tightly wrapping the corroded thread so that Sheng Fang wouldn’t notice.
Most of the time, Shi Jinzhe made her happy, except that he would occasionally nag and try to reason with her, but if she didn't listen, he wouldn't say it a second time. He was very pragmatic.
Therefore, she doesn't want to be replaced or become someone else's tool for the time being.
