Chapter 341 Money Power

In the end, Shi Jinzhe rowed back alone, and as soon as he returned to the castle, he immediately washed and changed his clothes.

The heavy rain subsided shortly after he finished tidying up and sat back on the single sofa by the window.

It was already dark. The hot cocoa Shekh had ordered was steaming hot. He took a bite and it felt sticky in his throat.

"You stole my drink."

As soon as Sher came out, he saw Shi Jin folding the cup and turned around, going straight to the bed.

After sending the message, Shi Jinzhe picked up the cup of hot cocoa and said, "I've never had it before, so I'll just try it. Don't be disgusted by my taste."

The wording was rather pathetic, but Shekh took it and drank it anyway.

Shi Jinzhe continued, "Are you sleepy? If not, get up and try on some clothes. They were just delivered. You can wear them to take photos when you go out tomorrow."

Schech's heart skipped a beat; it was happening again.

Every time they go to a new country, he has to give her a miraculous makeover, changing her outfits several times a day, with no two pieces of clothing or jewelry being the same. Even though there's a chance she might get hit on by someone when she goes out, he insists on not changing his ways and remains enthusiastic about it.

Shekh got out of bed, his back view conveying the message that the sooner it was over, the sooner he would be free.

"Come on, so we don't have to pick it out tomorrow."

Changing room.

I stopped trying after the fourth Schech.

A boning corset is acceptable, but a petticoat and layers of skirts are not. I had to change her into another one, and she got tired of it.

Shi Jinzhe glanced at her and said, "If you're sleepy, go and rest."

Shekh had been waiting for these words. Exploring such a large castle was exhausting, and they had also spent a considerable amount of time at sea. As soon as they returned to their room, they collapsed.

I was fast asleep in the middle of the night when I smelled a familiar scent and leaned in. I instinctively hugged the person who was burying their face in the crook of my neck, like I was hugging a human-shaped pillow that was almost 1.9 meters tall.

Shi Jinzhe nestled in her arms and slept soundly until dawn.

Sunlight pierced through the distant mountains and forests; there was no wind or rain—it was a bright, sunny day.

Sitting in the restaurant, which could easily double as a banquet hall, Sheikh, having eaten and drunk his fill, asked Shi Jinzhe, "Where are we going today?"

"Let's ride the steam train, your favorite."

Shekh felt relieved.

Shi Jinzhe understood her well and booked round-trip tickets well in advance. After experiencing the beautiful scenery along the way, he drove Shech to see the Scottish Highland cattle.

Shekh smiled slightly when he saw the cow. "It has a melancholy air about it, just like you."

Just as Shi Jinzhe turned to leave, she pulled him back, saying, "Kiss me."

"...Where did you learn this way of speaking, with all those reduplicated words?" He got goosebumps.

"Jiang told me to try using reduplicated words with you."

“Good, the effect is excellent. Tell her to say the same thing to Jiang Yinxue.”

"knew."

Sheh picked up his phone to reply to Jiang Yi's message and received her reply before going to bed.

Jiang Yinxue wasn't originally going to hit me.

Shekh threw his phone away. "Shi Jinzhe, are you lying to me?"

"No, it's just a matter of personal preference."

"So that's what Jiang said."

"If you really dared to hit her, she wouldn't be so calm in replying to your message. You're just joking."

"So, do you like it?"

I like you being yourself.

A perfect answer, Shekh will not pursue the matter further.

The next day, Shi Jinzhe took her to visit other castles, but Shekh felt that none of them were as good as hers.

No matter how many centuries of history there are, none can compare to her lifespan; her castle is the best.

Excited until the early hours of the morning, Shi Jinzhe said to her, "If you don't want to sleep, come with me."

Sheikh: "Where to?"

"Let me show you fireflies."

"Okay, let's take a look."

Shekh followed him as he wandered around, eventually arriving at a door.

When time is up and you push aside the path, you'll find it leads to the forest.

He led Shekh further in, and as they went deeper, the trees gradually became twisted and crooked, with bent branches blocking some of the path and covered with many green vines.

Spots of yellow-green fluorescence flickered deeper inside. Shi Jinzhe stood behind Shehe, supporting her shoulders and pushing her further in.

"There's more inside, let's get a little closer."

Shekh did as he was told and walked through the area where twisted branches and vines intertwined.

Shi Jinzhe stayed behind her until Shehe could see the vast expanse of fireflies twinkling like stars, then he stopped.

"Keep moving forward."

Shekh stopped in his tracks, looked back at him for a few seconds, and then walked on.

On a midsummer night, fireflies twinkled and lit up the path ahead, and the intertwined branches automatically parted to the sides, opening a passage for Shekh.

She couldn't help but turn around and receive a look from Shi Jinzhe Bieting.

So Shekh continued walking down that road without stopping.

The trees closed in behind her, leaving her all alone.

Suddenly, something cool and slippery wrapped around her waist, like a transparent belt with only the edges shimmering with a faint light.

It was a Cupid comb jellyfish. Sheh touched it and realized it wasn't a real jellyfish, but a belt made by Shi Jinzhe using his genes.

The belt was crossed and fastened around her waist. Then, with each step Shekh took inside, her clothes changed.

Centered on the belt, it has continuously evolved.

The shimmering petals of the starflower, with their silky sheen, bound her upper body tightly, clinging to her curves and creating an off-the-shoulder effect.

The golden veins on the petals extend downwards, their transparency increasing as they transition into the belt, merging with the lotus flowers on the lower body.

Sheh lowered his eyes; the mountain lotus flower turned transparent upon contact with water.

It conjured a snake tail, and the Cupid's belt on its body secreted moisture that soaked the petals. Once thoroughly wet, the two glistening petals lay flat on the tail, revealing the purple underneath.

The shimmering white silk at the shoulders gradually transforms into a flowing, sheer tulle that trails on the floor, as the magnificent, ethereal off-the-shoulder mermaid wedding dress is worn by her as she walks.

Two lisianthus flowers fell from the sky. Sher looked up and saw two birds.

There were more than two; she brought over many flowers, enough to make a bouquet in her hand.

After walking a few more steps, a necklace was thrown out, and Sher didn't even see what animal had thrown it to her.

She put it on, and as she walked, a string of pearl bracelets was tossed out. Less than two minutes later, another one appeared. After she had put them all on, something touched her hair.

Shech stopped; there were two vines.

Got it, I'm going to comb her hair...

Fifteen minutes later, Shekh touched the hair that was piled up at the back of his head.

It looks so familiar.

It was in Istanbul that Shi Jinzhe insisted on styling her hair. The difference was that the ponytail at the back was combed up and not tied into a knot with a hairband; only the front style was left.

Shekh suddenly understood that it wasn't that Shi Jinzhe was obsessed with dress-up games, but that he had been experimenting with which outfits suited him best.

Not knowing what awaited her, Shekh unconsciously quickened her pace, and after turning a corner, a white veil fell from her head.

Her form was relaxed, and as she moved, it would rise and fall like breathing, with the hem of her skirt swaying in the wind and emitting a light purple trailing light.

It's a jellyfish-patterned headscarf, which matches her belt perfectly.

With the veil in place, the path finally changed.

Flowers bloom, vines fade to gold, and at the end of the road hangs a pure gold crown, like a reward for the victor who has reached the finish line.

Shekh picked up the golden crown with both hands and put it on his head.

After all that was done, the flower wall was finally opened, and Shi Jinzhe changed into a sharp black suit and waited behind it.

Amazingly, there was the ocean behind him.

As dawn broke, Shi Jinzhe saw Shehe extend a hand to him and took it without hesitation.

"it's beautiful."

This wedding dress was just a concept; he wasn't sure how it would look on him. The flower wall was also a pleasant surprise for him, and now it seems great.

Shekh squeezed his hand: "I was still waiting for the notification, I didn't expect you to have done all this by yourself."

Who would have thought that when you can't sleep at night, you'll be dragged out to change into a wedding dress?

If she sleeps in tonight, will the wedding be canceled? Thinking about this, she asked, "What if I sleep in tonight?"

"It's okay, let's change to another day."

Shi Jinzhe lay under the tree with his palms outstretched, and a snake's tail, wrapped with a purple diamond ring, hung down.

Shekh looked so familiar, those ink-wash patterned markings, that big, thick tail…

She looked up a little closer and saw her good friend, the snake, Little Ink.

"How did you get her here...?"

"Of course, it's the power of money."
