Chapter 247 Slander (5)

"Fake?"

Shi Jinzhe affirmed, "Yes, it's fake."

Zheng Jingjing walked up to Wu Yu and asked, "Where's your little flower?"

Wu Yu was speechless.

The flowers have withered; his little flower has been destroyed by the two despicable people in front of him.

Upon seeing this, Zheng Jingjing coldly took a step back. "Since it's fake, you can deal with it as you see fit. I'm going back now."

After saying that, she walked past the fourth floor and went downstairs without looking back, showing no intention of getting involved in the matter.

After watching Zheng Jingjing leave, Shi Jinzhe asked Zhou Xiao for the soundproofing device and then detained the group of people again.

Jin Teng tied Wu Yu up and pulled him off the wall, then wrapped him up and handed him to Shi Jinzhe with a vine.

Shi Jinzhe pulled over the rattan cane: "Let's talk somewhere else."

The four people and one ghost returned to 402, passed the tightly closed side bedroom, and arrived at the room of the player who had escaped.

Shi Jinzhe closed the door, threw Yu to the ground, and then wove a rattan chair out of golden vines for Shehe to sit down.

"Let go of his mouth first."

Schech controlled a portion of the corrosive liquid to re-solidify, thus relieving Wu Yu of his restrictions.

Fearing he might try something, she even used four black and gold spikes to pin Wu Yu's limbs together.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Zhou Xiao turn on the soundproofing device and say, "Explain everything that happened in this building."

"Explain what?"

Wu Yu lay on the ground, blood oozing from the cracks in the whites of his eyes, turning his eyes bloodshot. His injured throat left his sinister and suppressed voice barely audible, making it unsettling to listen to.

He countered, "I see another place in this body, a place where you can leave this world, right?"

“This has nothing to do with you.” Shekh sat in the wicker chair, not at all worried that his words would provoke the ghosts on the ground.

"You answer whatever I ask; you have no right to criticize."

Wu Yu was speechless at the commanding tone. He turned his head and began to observe Shekh.

Through the player's body, he saw the truth beneath the surface.

This couple has a completely different vibe from the young couple in room 402.

The woman in the couple was warm and generous, always wearing bright and pretty dresses. She always smiled happily whenever she saw him, her eyes curving into crescents, which was very sweet.

And what's in front of me...

With long, jet-black hair, her eyes blindfolded with black ribbons, and a deep purple lace dress draped to the ground, the only striking color on her entire outfit was her blood-red lips. Her expression was cold and extremely aggressive.

With a gaze that seemed to solidify as it fell upon him, Wu Yu knew without looking that she was looking down at him directly when she spoke.

Red lanterns hang high, and against this bright red backdrop, the woman appears to be sitting amidst a pile of blood, interrogating herself.

Wu Yu had a feeling that if he didn't answer well, he would blend into the background.

He avoided Sheikh's gaze; she was the one who killed the eyeballs he had collected. He could no longer bear to look at the girl across the street.

Frustratingly, he couldn't even win a fight, so Wu Yu had no choice but to retreat.

What do you want to know?

"all."

Shekh conjured a long needle, aimed it at Wu Yu's pupil, and pierced his eye, "While I still have patience."

Wu Yu's face was contorted in pain as he forced out through gritted teeth, "You have to give me some direction."

"Is this building full of people like you?"

"...If you're referring to beings like me, then the whole world is."

This answer surprised them. They thought it was just a haunted building because the dungeon was a supernatural location, but they didn't expect it to be a world inhabited by ghosts.

Wu Yu squinted with one eye, wrinkled and puffed out: "You are all outcasts, you shouldn't exist here."

Shi Jinzhe frowned: "What impact does our existence have on you that you are so wary of us?"

"The world has stopped, our lives have stopped, we will not grow old or die, but your arrival will break all of that."

For example, today, he clearly remembered that it was Tuesday and he was supposed to admire the girl in room 402 wearing that pink skirt at eight o'clock in the morning.

But today, Tuesday, is different. The girl in room 402 didn't go out. The resident who used to live in this room has become irritable and noisy. Since last night, she has been talking nonsense, sometimes crying and sometimes laughing. It's very strange.

This was completely different from the Tuesdays Wu Yu remembered; he had no idea what would happen next.

The images captured by his eyes gave him a very bad feeling, so at noon he came to 402 to try and get closer to this person with whom he didn't have much interaction.

Then he discovered that this was not his former neighbor at all!

What games, what clues, what secrets to cracking the code? None of that is needed here!

Wu Yu glared at the two people in front of him: "You are the ones who changed this place."

Shi Jinzhe grasped the key point: "So you've been living in repetitive time periods, how long is that interval?"

"...one week."

"To repeat the same seven days countless times?" Zhou Xiao, who was listening in, asked in confusion, "You think that's a good thing? Do you not have a job and don't need to take exams?"

The man with the buzz cut rolled his eyes: "Even living the same repetitive days without working or studying would be painful, so the fact that he can enjoy it means there must be something we don't know about him."

Wu Yu's sore spot was hit, and his face contorted with rage. "What do you know... Ah!"

Another long black and gold needle pierced his eye. Shekh urged Wu Yu to continue with the important matter: "You know a lot. Those eyes were used for spying, weren't they? Now tell me everything."

The player was discovered and replaced by the ghost on the very first day. Although the player's lack of experience was partly to avoid the problem, Wu Yu was also a major factor.

His rolling eyes were his eyeliner; the woman coming downstairs knew the name of the spotted dog, meaning everyone knew the dog "Little Flower."

A dog having one more or one less spot won't attract anyone's attention, but if that spotted dog gets close to someone, that person might be spied on by Wu Yu.

He was the first ghost to notice something was wrong with his neighbor, so he would also be the one in the building who knew everyone best.

Wu Yu's eyes darted away, unwilling to admit to spying: "I don't know much..."

"I told you, don't test my patience."

Shekh's hands clenched together from the little finger to the next, like a closed flower.

Under her control, two long black-gold needles, which had been inserted into Wu Yu's eyes, pierced into his body, causing destruction everywhere.

The undulating bumps moved rapidly beneath his facial skin. Wu Yu looked down nervously, and the next moment, his eyes bulged out, and he suddenly arched his body, his forehead almost touching his knees.

As Sheikh clenched his fist, he felt a suffocating sensation as if his heart was about to burst.

Wu Yu's heart pounded violently. Amidst the extreme pain, he felt a sense of coming back to life. But if this was how he was supposed to live, he would rather be dead.

It is precisely because he is a ghost that this body can withstand such torment.

Shi Jinzhe stood behind Shehe, playing the bad cop: "I advise you to confess honestly, and you'll have an easier time."

"Tell me, tell me, I'll tell you everything I know!"
