Chapter 190 Learning Has No Limits

The light rain continued until noon the next day. After a while, the rain intensified, pattering against the car window.

Shekh was woken up and curled up his shoulders.

Her arm accidentally touched her chest. She frowned and put her arm around Shi Jin's body, creating a gap that wouldn't touch her chest.

The little movements woke the person next to him. Shi Jinzhe lowered his head and buried his head in the crook of her neck, squeezing himself into Shehe's arms.

Shekh pushed the person away with his backhand, then, using his arms as a cushion, turned from lying down to prone, hiding some parts of himself.

Why would he linger in such a place for so long?

She has no children, and this position doesn't allow for procreation, so what's so attractive about it?

Shi Jinzhe was jolted awake by her push and sat up, staring at the heartless figure on the bed.

"They pushed me away because they don't need me anymore."

"I don't."

"not yet?"

Shi Jinzhe pulled back the blanket and leaned over her back. "The heavier you are, the more excited you get. The rain was heavier than outside. Now that the sky is clear, you don't want me anymore."

"It's not sunny, it's raining."

I wasn't talking about outside, I was talking about you.

“I’m talking about myself.” Shekh buried half his face in the pillow. “It might be related to the season; I’m more sensitive in spring.”

"Will things still be like this after spring?"

"have no idea."

"In that case, I'd better hurry up."

The breath lingering on the back of her neck made Shekh feel a little itchy. She arched her body, and a gap appeared between her slightly protruding hip bone and the bed, through which a hand squeezed in.

After a few breaths, Shi Jinzhe seemed to laugh, "A genuine water snake waist, you're saturating me to death."

The soft yet resilient lower back was concave, and the hand that was stuck on Sher's waist felt it wasn't enough, so the tiger's mouth pressed against the waist and continued to press down.

"How could you..."

What's wrong with me?

"There's nothing behind it, and you're interested in that too?" Shekh turned his head, a little hesitant. "Do...do humans like this too?"

She thought only animals living in the wild did that.

They were savage, primitive, and unintelligent, a world apart from humans who pride themselves on civilization.

Such behavior from Shi Jinzhe was hard for Shekh to understand.

She knew that some people were full of primal instincts and loved to make excuses, saying it was their nature.

Although he was ultimately defeated in matters of survival, at least in such cases, his words and actions were still willingly bound by morality and law.

The repeated repressions in the game and his unwillingness to let go in reality suggest that he doesn't seem to have much of a need for such things.

Even if she could sense Shi Jinzhe's hidden impulses, he would calmly suppress them, and even if he occasionally lost control, he could quickly restrain himself and stop.

Sometimes I have to teach her a few things she shouldn't do.

Too often, I'm the one taking from him.

Just like last night, he acted in a very proper manner, just like the limited human knowledge he possessed.

But why is it that in the middle of the night, and now, he…

It seems that this person's self-discipline, politeness, restraint, and upbringing were all overturned overnight, leaving only transgression and indulgence.

Shekh called out Shi Jinzhe's name, "Why aren't you answering me?"

"I want to see how long you can keep spacing out."

"I was just wondering why you think differently from me."

"Because humans are animals." To verify this statement, the pause was resumed.

"...But don't you say you are civilized and have self-control?"

"I didn't say that."

“That’s how you humans boast,” Shekh wanted to exhale first, but also wanted to speak first. In his hesitation, venom dripped down the corner of his mouth.

"Isn't the word 'humanity' something you created to distinguish it from animality?"

"It was them, not me."

Shi Jinzhe stared at the shrunken shoulder blades in front of him. "Humans have also created a term called 'beast in human clothing,' and I am currently at that stage."

Shekh was speechless.

Her understanding is one-sided; it seems she still has much to learn.

...

On the slowly moving train, no one was looking at the scenery because of the heavy rain.

In a luxurious suite with only one room, the three staff members were so idle that it felt like they were on vacation, thanks to the laziness of the two guests.

After dusk, Schechden left the bedroom for the second time after getting out of the car.

Service personnel loitering in the connecting area between the carriages saw someone in the corridor, opened the door, and came over.

"Madam, do you need anything?"

Are there any other activities today?

"Half an hour later, there will be a professional band performance at the restaurant, and at 9:30 there will be an entertainment show at the bar. In addition, the spa, screening room and reading room are also open as usual."

Seeing that she was unmoved, the staff continued, "If you are interested, there is a master baking class at seven o'clock in the panoramic carriage. The train provides gift boxes, so you can make a dessert yourself to give to your relatives and friends."

"I'll think about it."

Once the passengers realized they no longer needed them, the staff member quietly withdrew.

Shekh was left alone in the corridor again.

She waited quietly for a few minutes before Shi Jinzhe opened the door and came out.

There's a stained glass partition at the entrance, so it doesn't look particularly special from the outside.

Only the two of them knew that the bed sheets, duvet covers, clothes, and pillows in the room had been swept all over the floor and were in a mess.

"Have you cleaned everything up?"

Shi Jinzhe hummed in agreement, "Have you started the timer?"

"It started at six o'clock, I don't know how long it will be extended this time."

"We still need to be more careful."

Shi Jinzhe held her hand, and the time it would take for Sher to become human was extended again; it was unknown how long this time would last.

As he passed the connecting area between the carriages, he asked the staff to clean the room.

The staff member smiled and agreed, using their professional demeanor to mask their embarrassment.

Young people haven't left their rooms for so long, so it must be... a bit difficult to clean up, right?

With a sense of adventure and a desire to see the world, the long-single service staff unlocked the door and found the room to be incredibly tidy.

You can tell someone lives there, but it's not messy at all; it's like the kind of room someone with obsessive-compulsive disorder who lives there.

Upon closer inspection, a stack of banknotes was placed on the marble table, with a piece of paper on top.

Please replace with brand new, washed bedding, as I am allergic to it.

...

The staff diligently brought over a new set of bedding made of a different material, had it washed and dried, and then changed into the new bedding, restoring the room to its original condition before Shi Jinzhe and Shehe returned.

In the other carriages, Shekh didn't make desserts; instead, he and Shi Jinzhe ate dinner in the dining car and then went to the screening room.

The small screening room for two people was showing a documentary called "Strange Snakes" that no one had ever watched.

Shekh watched with great interest.

Shi Jinzhe looked at her and said, "I didn't expect you to find something like this, something you'd only find in some hidden corner. Many video websites don't even have this. This is quite something."

You know this?

"It was recommended by someone else."

Not to mention documentaries, he even finished reading the book "Guide to the Breeding and Raising of Commercial Snakes" that he bought before.

Shekh ate the peeled mangosteen that had been delivered to him, saying, "It's hard to find, but the fact that we have it means the train ticket was worth it."

"It's definitely worth it."

A moment of blissful night is worth a thousand pieces of gold; how could it not be?
