13 ? Teasing

13. Teasing

◎"Do you still want to kiss me?"◎

A light drizzle began to fall outside the restaurant.

Xie Yunjin had been there for a while, but Song Chiyu didn't even look at him, standing on the side of the street waiting for Qi Yanzhou.

One of her colleagues couldn't stand it, and a boy stepped forward to advise her: "Teacher Song, why are you doing this? Teacher Xie is already here. You can just get in his car and let him take you home. There's no need to make everyone lose face here."

Now it's become her fault for being immature.

What about when they contacted Xie Yunjin without her consent? Why should she get into Xie Yunjin's car, especially when she was not fully aware of what was going on? These people clearly knew nothing and made decisions about her life based on their own assumptions.

"Do you know why Xie Yunjin and I broke up?" Song Chiyu rarely talked about her private affairs with others.

“We’ve all heard Teacher Xie say that it’s just a small matter,” the male colleague said, genuinely wanting to help her. “There’s no need for that, really no need. With Teacher Xie’s qualifications, countless girls couldn’t find someone like him even with a lantern. The fact that he’s still willing to pick you up shows that he cares about you. Don’t hold it against him.”

“This isn’t about being petty,” Song Chiyu laughed. These people were pretending to match her with Xie Yunjin, but they were really just flattering Xie Yunjin. She held up the ring on her ring finger: “I’m getting married. My husband will come to pick me up.”

When her male colleague heard her bring up her fictitious husband again, he laughed and asked, "So, Ms. Song, who are you planning to cast as your husband this time?"

Even now, no one believes that she really married the unattainable beauty of Cheng'an University.

"Find my husband to play my husband." Song Chiyu smiled, and perhaps because she thought of Qi Yanzhou coming, her smile seemed particularly genuine at this moment.

Her male colleague didn't argue with her, and crossed his arms, saying, "Fine, I'll wait here with you."

Song Chiyu stared at the water dripping from the eaves. Xie Yunjin sat inside the shop, watching her. He hadn't seen her smile like that in a long time, nor had he ever been so displeased with her as he was today. In the past, no matter how angry she was, she would never show it in front of others. But now, as soon as he entered the shop, she immediately headed for the door. Even though she could barely walk, she kept pinching the back of her hand to keep herself awake.

Why bother?

Xie Yunjin sighed silently, finally deciding to back down and get up to walk towards her.

When the male colleague saw him coming, he tactfully stepped aside. Xie Yunjin stood next to her, about to speak, when he saw her dreamy eyes suddenly focus on a certain point, and a lively joy appeared on her originally elegant face.

"Teacher Qi—"

Xie Yunjin followed her gaze and saw a man emerge from an SUV not far away. The man was holding an umbrella, with most of his face hidden under the umbrella. He wore loose black casual pants with a black cardigan. His fingers holding the umbrella handle were long and slender, and his slender figure exuded a tall and elegant air.

Even though they were both men, Xie Yunjin thought this man was very handsome.

Song Chiyu ran towards him in the rain, stumbling and nearly bumping into his chest. He made no attempt to dodge, but instead put his arm around her waist and helped her to her feet, saying, "Miss Song."

The umbrella held over his head naturally tilted towards her head.

Song Chiyu didn't want her colleagues to discover their true relationship, so she stood on tiptoe and pretended to cover his mouth, saying, "Don't call me that."

His eyelids drooped slightly. When he received her WeChat message, he guessed that something must have happened to her, otherwise she wouldn't have come to him so abruptly. Now, seeing her shoes soaked by the rain, his guess was confirmed.

There must be someone there whom she doesn't want to stay for even a second longer.

He glanced indifferently at the crowd, but couldn't tell who they were because everyone looked pretty much the same. He opened the driver's side door and said, "Don't worry, it's raining heavily, they can't hear you."

Song Chiyu hesitated, as her action of climbing into the passenger seat was somewhat indecent.

Qi Yanzhou didn't rush him, but gently reminded him, "Aren't you afraid of getting your shoes wet today?"

Song Chiyu immediately scrambled onto the driver's seat and moved toward the passenger seat.

He watched her bend over and stick out her hips, subconsciously lowering his eyelids, waiting for her to pat the rain off her coat and settle into the passenger seat before casually putting away his umbrella, turning his head and bending down to sit in.

Finally, someone under the eaves reacted, and a girl exclaimed in disbelief, "My God, it really is Cheng An, that unattainable beauty! He Zhu didn't lie!"

"They're already married, how long must they have been dating? Teacher Song is so tight-lipped, not a single word has escaped her notice," those who weren't meddling watched with amusement. "If I had a husband that handsome, I'd post about him on every social media platform, not just my WeChat Moments."

“Tsk,” another girl said, rubbing her chin, “This is all? It wouldn’t be surprising if Teacher Song told me one day that she wanted to have a third child.”

The two girls in front nodded in agreement.

The most embarrassed were the kind-hearted older woman and the peacemaker. The older woman wished she could chop off the hand that had called Xie Yunjin, and said apologetically, "Teacher Xie, I'm so sorry, I didn't expect that Xiao Song was actually married."

Xie Yunjin loosened her clenched back teeth, which were aching from biting sore, and smiled kindly: "It's alright, it was just a small favor for me. Is there anyone else who's drunk and needs me to take them home?"

**

As soon as Song Chiyu relaxed, an overwhelming feeling of dizziness washed over her.

Qi Yanzhou noticed she wasn't feeling well and handed her a bottle of warm milk. She took it with some surprise, inserting a straw as she asked, "Teacher Qi, did you heat the milk at home?"

"I bought it at the supermarket." Qi Yanzhou didn't know if she was praising him for being thoughtful or criticizing him for not caring enough about her. He glanced at the straw that she had brushed past the socket several times, then took her hand and inserted it.

Song Chiyu thanked him with a sigh of relief and lay back in her chair.

Qi Yanzhou looked at her flushed face: "How much did you drink?"

Song Chiyu couldn't remember exactly, she just drank whatever someone poured for her, holding up two fingers to indicate, "This much, right?"

There are definitely more than that.

Qi Yanzhou didn't expose him: "Seat belt."

"What?" she asked, her mind blank as the alcohol took hold.

"It's nothing," Qi Yanzhou said calmly. When they reached a red light, he leaned closer to her and pulled down the seatbelt by the door to secure her in front of him. She was startled at first, but when she saw it was him, she slowly relaxed, biting her straw and staring at him with an innocent look.

Her fair and delicate face showed no sign of defensiveness.

Qi Yanzhou withdrew his gaze and sat up straight.

His expression was cool and profound, revealing no emotion, but the slight tension in his lips made his already handsome face appear even more dignified and solemn than usual. If it were someone from the Qi family, they would never provoke him at this time, but Song Chiyu didn't find him frightening at all; instead, she looked at him with admiration: "Teacher Qi, have you ever told me that you are very good-looking?"

These are things she would never say when she is sober.

Qi Yanzhou glanced at her indifferently: "Miss Song, are you trying to flirt with me now?"

Song Chiyu, who had been unknowingly moving closer to him, suddenly stopped: "How can this be considered flirting? It's clearly my heartfelt appreciation of beauty."

"Thank you." He remained expressionless, completely unmoved by the praise from a drunkard.

"Then what do you think of me?"

Qi Yanzhou looked her over carefully: "Very beautiful."

She crossed her arms with satisfaction: "Yes, you have good taste."

"Hmm." He thought the matter should be over here, but the next second, she suddenly frowned and leaned closer to him, extremely puzzled: "Then why won't you let me tease you?"

Qi Yanzhou: "..."

That's the logic.

Does her beauty give her the right to flirt with him at will?

Qi Yanzhou pondered for two seconds, then asked in his usual emotionless tone, "So, how does Miss Song intend to flirt with me?"

She shook her head: "How I flirt is one thing, whether you let me flirt or not is another."

This is a lack of recognition of her status as a great beauty.

Qi Yanzhou smiled faintly: "Whether I let you or not, aren't you already flirting with me?"

Song Chiyu thought for a moment and said, "That's true."

But she didn't like his attitude. She suddenly retorted, "Shouldn't you be happier?"

She can be really unreasonable when she's drunk.

Qi Yanzhou glanced at her: "What's so great about it?"

"I was teased by a beautiful woman." She not only took it for granted, but also acted with great self-righteousness.

Qi Yanzhou finally couldn't help but laugh and replied respectfully, "I am honored."

Song Chiyu closed her eyes again, satisfied: "Yes, it should have been like this a long time ago."

Qi Yanzhou raised the corners of his lips helplessly.

He intended to take her directly back, but in the time it took him to turn around, she had already fallen asleep, her hands wrapped around the seatbelt, curled up and sleeping peacefully, looking just like a little bear from an animated film.

He had already decided in his mind that if he sent her back under these circumstances, he would definitely not be able to get away. Rather than having her forced to live in the same house as him, it would be better for her to go back to his place first.

In a daze, Song Chiyu felt the car stop, and through her blurry eyes, she glanced out the window and asked, "Have we arrived?"

"Okay." He unbuckled his seatbelt.

Song Chiyu responded and closed her eyes again, completely unaware of the surroundings outside the window.

Qi Yanzhou opened the passenger door. "Miss Song, it's time to get up."

Song Chiyu agreed verbally, but her body betrayed her by not moving. Qi Yanzhou stopped arguing with her, bowed and said "excuse me," and then picked her up from her seat with one hand.

Song Chiyu subconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her face on his shoulder. After a while, she seemed to smell something and gently brought her delicate nose close to the collar of his shirt: "Teacher Qi, you smell so good."

Qi Yanzhou: "..."

Although she had taken the initiative, he didn't want her to feel like he was taking advantage of her, so he tilted his head back and tried his best to keep his distance. She seemed oblivious, getting up and unbuttoning his shirt. He grabbed her fingers, saying, "Miss Song, that's too much."

She frowned slightly: "Can't it be solved?"

"Hmm." Qi Yanzhou rarely took her seriously.

"Then I'll do it anyway." She hugged his neck, adjusted her posture, wrapped her slender legs around his waist, and gripped his collar tightly with her fingers.

Qi Yanzhou stared at her indifferently, his deep and cold eyes revealing his aloofness. However, his left hand, which was originally hanging by his side, honestly supported her waist and hips, letting her sit on his forearm.

His sharply defined jawline was forced upwards by her mischievous fingers, but his deep and piercing gaze never left her.

Her fingers wouldn't obey her commands, and it took her a while to finally manage to untie one with great effort.

She refused to give up, lowered her head and leaned close to his chest, biting his second button, leaving messy red marks on his white shirt with her rosy lips.

Qi Yanzhou, worried that the buttons might pierce her teeth, glanced at the floor they were about to reach, pressed the back of her head against his chest, and forced her to stop: "Unbutton it when we get home."

She leaned obediently against his chest, her small, pert nose resting against his strong, straight shoulder, and softly replied, "Okay."

His prominent Adam's apple bobbed involuntarily.

Her full, smooth lips became increasingly taut.

Upon entering the apartment, he carefully placed her on the sofa in the living room. She lay on the sofa but did not let go of the hand hooked around his neck, forcing him to remain in the position of putting her down. He knelt down and lowered his head to approach her.

Her beautiful, bright eyes were filled with a gentle, sweet intoxication, and her soft, slender fingers gently traced his outstanding bone structure. "Brother, you look so handsome today."

Today, this word made him sense a subtle difference, but he didn't point it out, letting her fingers trace his lips.

Her light-colored pupils were unmistakably fixed on his lips.

"Brother, your lips are so soft today."

He immediately realized that she had someone with less soft lips in her heart as a reference. He was neither surprised nor angry, but his already deep eyes became even more obscure and unreadable. "Miss Song, who do you take me for?"

She paused slightly, staring at him intently. After a while, she seemed to recognize him. Her sweet gaze gradually softened into a distant one, and she released her grip on his neck, politely raising the corners of her lips: "Teacher Qi."

"Hmm," he said, maintaining his previous posture with one hand resting on his knee, "Now do you see who I am?"

Song Chiyu couldn't figure out what he was thinking, and nodded nervously.

He gave a cool, aloof smile: "Do you still want to kiss me?"
