29 ? Deviating from the norm

29. Deviation from the norm

◎“He wasn’t as patient as he thought.”◎

Qi Yanzhou's Adam's apple bobbed slightly as he looked up.

Her smooth skin hung within inches of his nose, and he could clearly smell the delicate fragrance emanating from it.

Although he had anticipated her movements and tried his best to tilt his head back to avoid her, he was still too slow. As soon as he lowered his eyes, he saw the full and voluptuous silhouette hidden under her clothes, which, in the dim light, resembled a half-moon that was faintly visible.

He touched the switch next to the seat and lowered the back of the chair.

She bent down and chased after him.

He tilted his head back to avoid the clothes falling on his face.

"Miss Song."

She paused in her bent-over motion. "Hmm?"

Song Chiyu didn't intend to force him, but kept a close eye on his expression, ready to stop when the time was right.

"Is it too much to bear?" he asked, holding her waist.

He was also considering her feelings.

Song Chiyu paused slightly, then gently shook her head.

He gazed deeply into her eyes, finally succumbing to the tenderness in her gaze. He parted the lace, opened his lips, and kissed her. Song Chiyu had thought she would have to contend with him for a long time, but she hadn't expected him to give in so easily. And so skillfully at it.

His thin eyelids drooped naturally, and his soft tongue slowly and deliberately licked and touched her. Song Chiyu wanted to retreat, but it was too late. He pressed her bent waist down, sat her on his lap, adjusted his posture, and sat up, choosing an angle that made it easier for her to swallow.

She clung tightly to the shirt on his shoulder.

Her knees involuntarily twitched twice, letting out a soft moan of resistance. He looked up, his arm around the back of her neck, and asked, "Giving up already?"

She didn't speak, but the way she tapped his shoulder and moved her waist backward revealed her thoughts.

He tilted his head back and kissed her lips as if he hadn't heard her.

His other hand landed on her open dress, past the lace, and gently caressed it.

Song Chiyu had underestimated him. She hadn't expected him to actually get carried away in a place like this, with soft moans escaping his lips. He became increasingly lost in the moment, following her lips to kiss her slender neck.

He casually unbuttoned the collar of her dress.

Her clothes, which had been covering her front, suddenly opened completely, and she abruptly pulled her coat over herself, using it as a shield. Her dangling earlobes were visibly red.

Qi Yanzhou laughed and pulled her legs closer to him.

“Miss Song is more respectful of etiquette than I imagined. I thought the limit you mentioned was just a humble way of putting it.”

As he said this, his hand was reaching over her coat and kneading under her shirt.

Song Chiyu bit her lip and clutched her coat tightly, but did not stop him.

"Miss Song, if I wanted to do this here, would you feel uncomfortable?" He used the tip of his nose to push aside her coat, pressed against the skin under the lace, and sucked on it.

Song Chiyu was so embarrassed and annoyed just imagining the swaying car that she couldn't lift her head.

He cupped his face in his hands and shook his head repeatedly.

"Okay, I'll just kiss you for a little while." He pulled her vest closer, gesturing for her to come even closer.

Song Chiyu gradually felt a surge of desire. Unconsciously, she squeezed her legs together, which were resting on his waist. He looked up at her, saying nothing, but everything was understood without words.

Song Chiyu pursed her lips and turned her head away from him.

He cupped her chin, tilted his head back, and leaned close to her lips. "Miss Song, if you can't stand it, I can do it in the car too."

“No way—” Song Chiyu rejected the idea without any hesitation.

He licked his lips. "Miss Song, if I'm not mistaken, you're wearing a slip underneath?"

Song Chiyu did not deny it.

What do you want to do?

He untied the bow she had tied behind her waist.

The tightly tied horse-face skirt suddenly came undone, revealing a loose and thin underskirt underneath. He touched the thin stockings on her legs: "Aren't you cold?"

It will definitely be cold.

But that wasn't his concern right now. He nudged him with his knee in an annoyed tone, "What do you want?"

"Should I use my hand?"

"Are you crazy?"

"I'm not crazy." He opened the glove box in front of the passenger seat and took out a pack of unopened wet wipes. "I just don't want to disappoint you."

Song Chiyu was speechless for a moment.

He raised an eyebrow, gesturing for her to move to the back of the steering wheel.

Song Chiyu grasped his arm beneath his shirt, leaning back with a mixture of disbelief and anticipation. The moment their arms touched, the horn on the steering wheel blared loudly.

She was startled.

She instinctively tried to sit up, but he pulled over a cushion and placed it behind her back.

"Don't be afraid."

Song Chiyu leaned back slowly again.

Her long legs, clad in high heels, draped over one of his shoulders, her beautiful and delicate face filled with anxious anticipation.

But at that moment, he pushed aside the coat that was covering her. The view beneath her shirt was now fully exposed in the night. Song Chiyu subconsciously grasped his hand, which was resting under her skirt. He reassured her with his eyes, and after a brief moment of thought, she let go of his hand.

"Do you still want to wear it?"

"Why aren't you wearing anything?" Song Chiyu said coquettishly, "Weren't you just asking if I was cold?"

He clearly wasn't in the mood for idle chatter, but he still responded with a reply.

She still followed the proper procedure, pulling the edge of her pantyhose down.

My fingers, wiped with a wet tissue, felt slightly cool and damp.

She trembled involuntarily.

"Don't be afraid."

His slender, pale fingers moved effortlessly across her skin.

Her touch grew stronger and her voice became increasingly out of control. Despite her extreme restraint, it was still clearly audible in the cramped carriage.

She gripped his fingers even tighter.

He pulled her back onto his lap, saying, "We really can't do this here..."

Song Chiyu bit her lip and shook her head.

"I understand." He tilted his head back and kissed her lips. She couldn't help but hold his knuckles and kneel up on her own. His Adam's apple bobbed slightly, and a thin layer of sweat appeared on his forehead and neck.

He wasn't as patient as he thought.

My whole mouth is dry.

As she returned to the passenger seat and fastened the buttons of her horse-face skirt, he unscrewed a bottle of ice-cold mineral water and drank half of it. Song Chiyu pretended not to see.

She picked up all the used wet wipes, intending to throw them away back in her room.

As soon as she entered the courtyard carrying the small bag, she bumped into Qi Zhannan, who was limping out of the ancestral hall. Without thinking, she stuffed the bag into her coat pocket.

"Second Aunt?" It was too dark for him to see her subtle movements, but he sensed she was acting suspiciously. "Where have you been so late?"

"I..." Song Chiyu was momentarily at a loss for words. Fortunately, Qi Yanzhou appeared in time and interrupted her, saying, "What are you doing here so late?"

"I just finished kneeling in the ancestral hall!" Qi Zhannan shouted confidently.

Neither of them spoke as they looked at him. Even Qi Yanzhou, who was usually strict with him, showed a subtle expression, revealing a hint of reluctance.

"Where did you two go?" Qi Zhannan asked.

"I know you've been kneeling in the ancestral hall for a while, so I went to buy you some things." Qi Yanzhou handed him the untouched barbecue and grilled fish that Song Chiyu had packed up, not wanting to waste it.

Qi Zhannan immediately believed it.

She accepted it with great emotion: "Now you know what I've done for this family."

Qi Yanzhou did not answer.

He patted him on the shoulder and walked into the house.

"If the old lady tells you to go see Qi Si, you absolutely mustn't go! I've already knelt down! I've already made a scene! If you, my dad, and my grandpa give in, then all this suffering I've endured will have been for nothing!"

"I know." Qi Yanzhou rarely spoke to him so kindly. "Go to sleep. You have to get up at three o'clock tomorrow."

"Hey, my leg is like this, can't you just tell me not to go?"

Qi Yanzhou seemed not to hear him: "Don't be late."

While the two were talking, Song Chiyu quietly slipped back to her room and threw the pocket from her bag into the bathroom trash can.

Qi Yanzhou returned shortly after washing his hands.

Song Chiyu said, "It's inconvenient for this whole family to live together."

"What's inconvenient for you?" Qi Yanzhou asked knowingly.

Song Chiyu did not answer.

Qi Yanzhou raised the corners of his lips slightly, walked to her side with a calm expression, turned on the tap, and looked at her through the bathroom mirror. "So now you're just happy on your own, and then you don't recognize me anymore?"

Song Chiyu neither denied nor admitted it.

"You can't take a bath on the first day of the Lunar New Year."

Qi Yanzhou laughed.

"Then it can be done after midnight, right?"

"But it's not like we have to get up at 3 a.m."

"I still remember." Qi Yanzhou was quite surprised.

"Then tomorrow."

Qi Yanzhou held out his hand. "Pinky promise."

Song Chiyu hooked his little finger around his finger, and he continued, "Stamp it."

Song Chiyu never expected him to have such a childish side.

Just as she hooked her thumb over his fingertip, he unexpectedly kissed her on the lips.

"Stamp it," Qi Yanzhou said.

Qi Yanzhou barely slept today. The two of them went back, washed up, and went to bed early.

Having learned from the previous experience, Qi Yanzhou didn't let her sleep under the same quilt as him again. The two of them chatted idly in their own blankets.

At three o'clock in the morning, the sound of firecrackers went off outside.

Song Chiyu groggily opened her eyes. "Should I go?"

"No need." Qi Yanzhou sat on the edge of the bed and turned around: "You sleep, don't worry about it."

Song Chiyu dozed off for a while longer.

Qi Yanzhou walked out of the courtyard, arranged the tasks for the others, and when he came back, he saw her dozing on a small stool at the entrance of the main hall. Her little head was drooping, and she looked particularly cute.

Qi Yanzhou gave a helpless smile.

He walked up to her, cupped her head, and asked, "What are you doing sitting here?"

"I'm worried about you." She opened her eyes groggily.

"Go to sleep." Qi Yanzhou picked her up from the small stool. "I can handle it."

"But what if they make things difficult for you?" She rested her head on his shoulder: "There aren't many good people in your family."

Qi Yanzhou patted her back, "I'm not in a difficult position, because I disagree with whatever they say. They're the ones in a difficult position."

“If I don’t come, they’ll gossip about you.” Qi Yanzhou’s eyelids drooped slightly.

She was thinking of him. Even if it made her uncomfortable, she didn't want to make things difficult for him.

"No," he whispered to her, slowly carrying her back to the room.

Aunt Ning saw him from afar, her face showing utter disbelief. She looked at the sleepy-eyed Yinghong beside her and said, "Look at him. Anyone who knows him would know he found a wife, but anyone who doesn't would think he found an ancestor."

Yinghong looked on with envy: "Isn't this great? Second Brother is willing, and Second Sister-in-law is willing. It's better than Brother Jianguo, who is so old and still can't settle down, right? I never thought Second Brother could be so gentle."

"Cherry Blossom!" Aunt Ning roared, "Whose side are you on anyway?"

Sakura didn't dare to speak.

Qi Yanzhou soon came over. He didn't know what the two were talking about, but said indifferently, "Aunt Ning, why don't you let Yinghong and the others go to sleep? Anyway, there are cooks here, so it's pointless for them to sit here."

Aunt Ning endured it all.

"you……"

Qi Yanzhou added, "Don't go and say anything unnecessary to Xiaoyu. She works very hard every day, and she might only be able to get a good night's sleep these few days."

Seeing his sincerity, Aunt Ning reluctantly shut her mouth.

**

Song Chiyu took a nap.

Hearing the sound of firecrackers outside, she quickly washed up and went out. Just as they were finishing the last loop of the hike, Yinghong waved to her, sharing her things with her so she could seamlessly blend into the group.

She peered through the crowd at Qi Yanzhou, who was walking at the very front, but Qi Zhannan, who was a few rows ahead, caught her and stepped out from the crowd to stand in front of her, saying, "You're only just getting up?"

“No,” Song Chiyu said without blinking, “I’ve been following you the whole time.”

"Bullshit, how come I didn't see you before?"

“That’s because you didn’t notice me,” Song Chiyu said, not letting the conversation continue. “Wow, Master Qi, you were so handsome yesterday! I have to apologize for what I said. You are the most courageous man in your family! Qi Yanzhou is far inferior to you. You are the real Master Qi.”

"Oh dear~" Qi Zhannan couldn't help but laugh: "We're family, why are you talking like this?"

“I discovered this at our archaeological site before. You are really responsible and have a very positive outlook on life. You are completely different from those others. You truly deserve to be called Master Qi.”

"Hey—" Qi Zhannan put his arm around her shoulder: "Why didn't you say that earlier?"

Song Chiyu still didn't hold back and hit his hand, right on his wrist. He immediately screamed in pain, but he didn't hold it against her. Instead, he apologized, "Sorry, I'm used to calling other people brothers."

"It's alright, Young Master Qi, it's great that you've started to have this awareness." Song Chiyu didn't hold back his praise: "You're truly amazing."

Qi Zhannan's lips were pouting as much as they could have been, after receiving a string of compliments from Song Chiyu. He left completely satisfied, even his drooping leg felt stronger.

Sakura was amused and kept laughing.

When they reached the spot where Song Chiyu had asked Qi Yanzhou to park the car yesterday, the large crowd suddenly stopped. Song Chiyu was puzzled, so Yinghong explained, "Because the tombs of our ancestors are all over here. Over there is Great-Grandfather's tomb, over there is Fifth-Grandfather's, and over there I think are Great-Grandfather and Great-Grandmother's. Oh, and Second Brother's biological mother's tomb seems to be over there too..."

Song Chiyu couldn't stand it anymore and repeatedly told her to stop.

Thinking that Song Chiyu wasn't interested, she changed the subject, saying, "That low house in front is a clay statue that my great-grandfather sculpted for our ancestors when he was still alive. Everyone comes to worship it during festivals."

Song Chiyu: "..."

Nothing is more sorrowful than a broken heart.

No wonder Qi Yanzhou asked her if she knew where this place was, but if he knew what it was, why didn't he just tell her? Song Chiyu looked at him with a mixture of shame and embarrassment.

He seemed to sense something and suddenly turned to look at her through the crowd. He guessed what it was, but said nothing, only slightly curving his lips as he continued talking to the person in front of him.
