Chapter 236: Affection
The car stopped outside the Lin family mansion. Jiuyao got out of the car and went to the gate with Gu Hanye.
Gu Hanye rang the doorbell, and soon, a man in his fifties came out to open the door.
"Mr. Gu, Mrs. Gu, good morning! I'm Zhang Hai, the Lin residence's housekeeper. The master is on the phone in the living room, so I'm sorry I can't come to greet you personally. Please follow me."
Su Jiuyao was a little surprised and glanced at Gu Hanye.
She thought that she came here today just to meet Lin Zihang, say thank you and then go back, but she didn't expect that she also made an appointment to meet Lin Zihang's father. Is it so formal?

Then, a middle-aged man in a black polo shirt walked out of the living room.

Su Jiuyao knew without asking that this person was probably Lin Zihang's father, Lin Yunfeng, because the father and son looked so much alike.
However, Lin Zihang is more arrogant and unruly.
"I'm so sorry, I just had a phone call and couldn't come out to greet you in person."
As Lin Yunfeng spoke, he smiled apologetically at Gu Hanye and Su Jiuyao.
However, when his eyes fell on Jiuyao, his pupils shrank and his gaze couldn't help but linger on her face for a moment longer.
"Mr. Lin, you're too polite. This is my wife, Su Jiuyao," Gu Hanye said, looking at Jiuyao. "Jiuyao, this is Mr. Lin, the president of the Lin Group."
Su Jiuyao smiled faintly at the middle-aged man in front of her, "Hello, Mr. Lin."
Lin Yunfeng agreed with a smile, looked at Su Jiuyao deeply again, then returned to normal and brought the two of them into the reception room.
After the three of them sat down, the butler served tea.
Gu Hanye spoke first, "I came here in person this time, firstly, to discuss our jewelry and real estate cooperation project, and secondly, to personally thank Zihang."
"Thank you?" Lin Yunfeng looked surprised, as if he didn't understand.
Gu Hanye smiled and told the other party that Lin Zihang had sent him to the hospital the night before.

Then the butler went upstairs.
Afterwards, Lin Yunfeng and Gu Hanye discussed the two companies' cooperation projects. They talked freely and the conversation went smoothly.
But Su Jiuyao didn't care much about those things, her attention was elsewhere at the moment.
Lin Zihang's father seemed to like collecting antiques and calligraphy and paintings. From the entrance corridor to the living room, there were several famous paintings hanging on the wall, and some antique porcelains were placed on the cabinets, all of which were definitely authentic.
Among them, Su Jiuyao was particularly interested in the small pale yellow glazed vase above the fireplace in the living room.
The small bottle had a fresh color, a cute shape, and looked particularly familiar. She seemed to have seen it somewhere, but she couldn't remember where.
"Do you like this small bottle?" Lin Yunfeng asked.
Su Jiuyao retracted her gaze and nodded: "It's pretty."
Lin Yunfeng smiled faintly and said, "It's something from the Qing Dynasty. If Jiuyao likes it, I'll ask Lao Zhang to pack it up later and you can take it with you when you leave."
After listening to this, Gu Hanye took a sip of tea and glanced at Lin Yunfeng calmly.
