Chapter 35 There is a Fairy in the House

There were four people in that WeChat group: Gu Hanye, Ouyang Zheng, the third son of the Ouyang family, Shi Chenyuan, the president of Times Group, and Lin Qingqing, the little sister who had played with them since childhood.

After parking the car in the garage, Gu Hanye glanced at his phone.

Ouyang Zheng was shocked: "Am I seeing this right? President Gu, who is so busy with all sorts of things, is actually queuing up to buy roasted chestnuts for his wife? @Gu Hanye"

Gu Hanye: "Envy?"

Ouyang Zheng sent a string of ellipsis and added an emoticon that said "Please be kind to single people."

Shi Chenyuan: "Aye, when is the wedding? I've prepared the red envelopes."

Gu Hanye: "No plans for now."

Lin Qingqing: "Brother Hanye, when can we officially meet Sister Jiuyao?"

Gu Hanye actually wanted to take Su Jiuyao to meet his friends. The last time at his grandfather’s birthday party was an opportunity, but Bai Ruolan intervened and made Jiuyao drunk, so they had to leave early.

Only their families knew that he and Jiuyao had obtained their marriage certificate. It had not been announced to the public, not even their friends.

Gu Hanye: "Qingqing should change her name to sister-in-law. Jiuyao and I have already obtained our marriage certificate."

Lin Qingqing didn't reply.

Ouyang Zheng exploded: "Congratulations, Brother Ye! Then shouldn't you bring the little fairy to see us? Anyway, I'm ready to eat dog food!"

Shi Chenyuan also sent his blessings.

After a while, Lin Qingqing sent a message: "Congratulations, Brother Hanye."

Gu Hanye: "Thank you. I'll ask Jiuyao about having dinner together."

Afterwards, he closed the WeChat group chat and sent a message to his assistant, asking him to remove those trending searches. He did not like his private life being exposed, nor did he want to occupy public resources for no reason.

After giving the instructions, Gu Hanye put away his phone and went home carrying the still hot roasted chestnuts.

As soon as I pushed the door open, I heard the melodious sound of a piano.

Gu Hanye's heart skipped a beat and he looked in the direction of the voice.

Su Jiuyao was wearing a sky-blue dress with her hair loosely tied behind her head. She was sitting sideways on a chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, playing the pipa in her arms.

Her slender jade fingers plucked the strings lightly, and the sound was crisp and moving, like jade beads rolling on a plate. Every note jumped into Gu Hanye's heart, making him lose his mind for a moment.

He couldn't bear to disturb her, so he leaned against the entrance and watched her play from afar.

Suddenly remembering Ouyang Zheng’s description of a little fairy, Gu Hanye felt it was very appropriate.

At this moment, he really felt that he had married a little fairy who had magical medical skills and was proficient in music, chess, calligraphy and painting.

But her music is empty and lonely. Is this her inner state?

Gu Hanye stared at her profile. How many things were hidden in those silent and reserved eyes and eyebrows that he didn't understand?

At this time, Gu Hanye's cell phone rang. Su Jiuyao paused when she heard the sound.

"Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt."

Su Jiuyao put the pipa aside and smiled faintly: "I am tired too."

Gu Hanye walked up to her with a smile, "I remembered you liked it, so I bought it on my way home from get off work. Come and wash your hands and eat it."

Su Jiuyao blinked, surprise showing on her face, because she didn't expect that he remembered her little preference.

She carefully put away the pipa and took the bag of hot chestnuts. Her heart was warmed, and the sadness that had been evoked by the song she had just played disappeared in an instant.

"Thank you."

Gu Hanye smiled and took off his coat: "How many talents do you have that I don't know about?"

Su Jiuyao curled the corners of her lips and said, "I won't tell you."

A touch of playfulness that belonged to her age emanated from her, causing Gu Hanye's eyes to darken.

At this moment, the doorbell rang, and Gu Hanye said, "I'll go open the door first."

He opened the door and found a courier who asked if this was Miss Su Jiuyao's home and if there was a delivery for her.
