Her mother-in-law couldn't help but say something when she saw how timid she was.
"That's your own mother. As long as she says it was voluntary, who can do anything to you?"
Xia Lan thought about it and realized that was true. She had originally planned to be more restrained, but now she didn't have to worry at all.
