The man was arrested, and Jiang's parents didn't know what was going on. Su Su from Jiangsu said that the man was sent by Bian Yuebai with the aim of ruining her reputation.
The man would never reveal Bian Yuebai's name; he would only say that he came to steal things.
When the man broke in, he didn't find any woman; instead, he was met by two police officers.
The plan failed, and he wouldn't implicate Bian Yuebai. Upon hearing that Bian Yuebai was behind it, Jiang's parents looked very upset. Since it concerned their daughter, they had to find out the truth.
It wasn't until the police left with their men that Jiang's parents told them about Bian Yuebai, and then Su from Jiangsu told them about how she had switched the soda.
The two women couldn't believe that Bian Yuebai could be so ruthless; they couldn't bear to think about it.

"Mind your own business."
"You'd better stay put for the time being."
Bian Zhaoyue didn't want to get involved; she just wanted to take this opportunity to find out if her sister was still alive.
Bian Yuebai didn't want to go out either, so she went to the kitchen to find something to eat.
