“That’s right, Comrade Ye’s idea is the same as mine. Which school are you a teacher at? Would you be willing to start by offering physical education classes?”
“I’m a teacher on the island, so I’ll have to ask our principal for his opinion, but I’m confident I can persuade him.”
"Okay, it's settled then. The funding for physical education classes will be provided by the Education Bureau, and you can recruit the teachers yourselves."
Ye Zhaozhao nodded. After the meeting, Director Qi told everyone that the teachers who were to be assigned jobs would come back tomorrow, and that they should stay at the guesthouse for the night.
Ye Zhaozhao wasn't in a hurry to go back, but as she left, she saw Deputy Director You glare at her fiercely, which puzzled her.
She hadn't provoked him, had she? Ye Zhaozhao rolled her eyes at him and left. She went to the state-run restaurant for dinner before heading to the guesthouse.
At night, because the room wasn't soundproof, Ye Zhaozhao heard a rustling sound coming from next door. As someone who's been through it all, she knew exactly what was going on across the street.
Ten minutes later, it was over. Ye Zhaozhao thought to herself, "This man is so bad."
I was just about to turn over and go to sleep when I heard voices.
"Brother You Dong, what's wrong with you today?"
Hearing these voices, Ye Zhaozhao felt strangely familiar. Could these two people be people she knew?
"Don't even mention it. That old fogey Director Qi actually said he wanted to start physical education classes."
Today, another idiot teacher chimed in with him. If this were a PE class...
"If the education bureau has to pay, won't I lose a huge sum of money?"
Ye Zhaozhao recognized the voice as that of Deputy Director You from earlier in the day, but she never expected that the two of them would actually be involved together.
