The little boy saw the surprise in Ling Kewei's eyes and wanted to walk towards her.
But before she even got close, Ling Kewei started waving her hands wildly in the air.
"Don't come any closer, don't come any closer."
Ling Kewei had no idea how hurtful those words were to the little boy.
He dared not go any further, at which point Mo Xiangyue quickly stepped forward to ask her.
"Kewei, what are you doing here?"
Ling Kewei wasn't stupid; she looked at herself and then at the man beside her.
If there was anything else she didn't understand, thinking about everything that had just happened between her and this man, Ling Kewei couldn't help but gag.
After gagging, she looked at Ye Zhaozhao with hatred in her eyes. If it weren't for the large number of people around, she would have rushed up and given her a good beating.
"Ye Zhaozhao, it's all your fault, you woman."
Upon hearing Ling Kewei's words, and recalling how Ye Zhaozhao had managed to sway everyone to her side with just a few words, Mo Xiangyue quickly reached out to stop her daughter.
"Kewei, I'll take you back."
Then, looking at the man, she indicated that she would not let him off the hook. Seeing that Mo Xiangyue was thinking of letting it go, Ling Kewei said that while Mo Xiangyue could tolerate it, she could not.
"Ye Zhaozhao, did I hit the nail on the head? You were the one who plotted against me."
Everyone around looked at Ye Zhaozhao, they couldn't believe she would have such a vicious thought, but Ye Zhaozhao continued to pretend she knew nothing.
"I don't know anything, but since you want to find out the truth, why don't you ask the person involved?"
Ye Zhaozhao glanced at the man next to Ling Kewei, who kept his presence to himself.
Fearing that Ye Zhaozhao wouldn't let him off the hook and that she would call him out, the man spoke up.
"Ling Kewei asked me to hide in Comrade Ye's closet beforehand, waiting for her to come home."
Upon hearing this, Ling Kewei and Mo Xiangyue were clearly taken aback, and Ling Kewei looked at the man.
As if to say, "You took my money," the man looked away.
He heard everything just now; the man in that house is a brigade commander.
Moreover, Ye Zhaozhao herself is capable; he was certain of that.

Ling Kewei looked at Ye Zhaozhao with a provocative expression.
The little boy next to her, seeing that she was targeting Ye Zhaozhao, unconsciously spoke up for Ye Zhaozhao.
“I’ve been staying at Aunt Ye’s house for several days and I’ve never seen a man other than Uncle Gu.”
Upon hearing that he had stayed at Ye Zhaozhao's house for several days, Ling Kewei subconsciously looked at Ye Zhaozhao.

The man then revealed that he was the owner of a newspaper and that he had only come that day to invite Ye Zhaozhao to work at the newspaper.
However, he was rejected, which is why he came back today.
When people hear the word "newspaper," they can only think of Xinhua News Agency and People's Daily.
Although they lived in the family compound, they knew that almost everyone who made it into the newspapers was a celebrity.
Ye Zhaozhao had appeared before, because during that period, everyone bought newspapers to read.
Now that they hear Ye Zhaozhao is going to work at a newspaper, they are extremely envious.
