There were two door gods guarding outside the Yu family's door. The villagers were afraid of getting into trouble and did not dare to come to the house. The Yu family could not go out either. They could only hope that the He family would put the blame on Yu Jiao so that they could get rid of them completely.

Yu Qizhe lifted the carriage curtain, got off the carriage first, turned around and stretched out his slender, white hand with distinct joints towards Yu Jiao in the carriage.
Yu Jiao paused for a moment before placing her hand on his and getting off the carriage.
The two gatekeepers recognized the coachman. When they saw him coming, they thought their master had some instructions. So they walked forward and saw Meng Yujiao, who was taken away by the steward that day, walking out of the carriage. They couldn't help but feel confused.
The driver had received He Dongsheng's instructions before he came. He walked up to the two servants guarding the gate and whispered, "The master has ordered you to continue guarding the Yu family, but you must be polite to Miss Meng."
One of them who was a little smarter said with a smile, "Please inform our brothers and let us know how to be polite."
The driver and the two men all worked in the He Mansion and had drunk together in the past, so he reminded them, "Our old master has received a prescription from Miss Meng and is getting better now. I guess when the old master recovers, the master will call you two back to the mansion."
"Okay! Brother, I got it." said the gatekeeper.
The driver turned around and smiled at Yu Jiao, "Miss Meng, I will go back and report to our master first."
Yu Jiao thanked him. The driver was a little flattered and waved his hands repeatedly, "Miss Meng, you are too polite."
Inside the Yu family courtyard, ever since the sound of carriage wheels was heard outside the courtyard, the entire hall had been so quiet that one could hear a pin drop. Yu Ruhai looked panic-stricken, his face turned pale with fear, and he tightly grasped the armrest of the wooden chair under him.
Yu Zhou listened carefully to the noise outside, and only heard someone talking outside the courtyard gate. However, the voice was too low and she could not make out anything.
Until the courtyard door was pushed open with a creaky sound, Yu Ruhai was so frightened that he trembled all over, stood up from the chair, and was about to hide in the east room. Yu Zhou stared at the courtyard door and saw that it was Yu Jiao and Yu Qizhe who came in, and immediately called out to Yu Ruhai who was dodging in panic.
"Master, it's Fifth Brother and Meng Yujiao who are back." Yu Zhou murmured absentmindedly.
"Are there any members of the He family following them?" Yu Ruhai paused and asked nervously.
Seeing Yu Jiao turn around and close the courtyard door, Yu Zhou finally let out a sigh of relief, "It's just the two of them, no one else."
Upon hearing this, Yu Ruhai raised his hand to wipe the cold sweat from his forehead. His tense body suddenly relaxed. He let out a long breath, turned around and slumped in the chair. He raised his eyes and saw that only Yu Qizhe and Yu Jiao were walking into the yard. Only then did he feel relieved.
Yu Jiao and Yu Qizhe went straight back to the east room. Song was sewing shoe soles when the door curtain was suddenly lifted. She looked up and saw two people walking in. She was so happy that she didn't know what to do for a moment. The needle pierced her hand directly, but she seemed not to feel the pain and stood up excitedly.
"Zhe'er, Meng'er, you guys are back?" She took Yu Jiao's hand and looked her up and down, nervously and worriedly, "Are you scared? Did you suffer in the He family? Why did they let you come back?"
Song's concern was very natural, and Yu Jiao couldn't help but think of her own mother. A sour warmth rose in her chest. Yu Jiao shook her head, lowered her eyes to look at Song Chun's finger that was pierced by the needle, and said, "The He family's old man's disease is not incurable. There is a cure. "Never." Yu Jiao said lightly.
Yu Ruhai looked at Yu Jiao in a daze. His heart was filled with fear for a moment. He thought to himself, it's all over. The He family will not let him off easily.
Yu Zhou also frowned upon hearing this. She whispered to Yu Ruhai in a serious tone, "Master, we can't keep Meng Yujiao, this scourge. We have to cut off all ties with her!"
