When Yu Jiao arrived at Liu's house, she saw a carriage parked by the screen wall. Liu Yaoyu and Cui Qiong were talking not far away. The two seemed to have had an argument and their faces looked very unhappy.
Hearing the noise, they both fell silent.
"Third sister, why are you here?" Liu Yaoyu left Cui Qiong and walked forward. She was visibly happy to see Yu Jiao, but there was still some unhappiness in her expression.
Yu Jiao followed her hand and got off the carriage. "I asked the servants to make a few small clothes for Lingbao." Then, she looked at Cui Qiong and nodded to greet her, "Miss Cui Wu."
Cui Qiong stood far away and did not come forward, "Sister Yu Jiao."
Yu Jiao noticed that she seemed much thinner than before, and thought that the funeral had just been held in the mansion and she had not yet come out of the grief of her brother's death.
She smiled gently at Cui Qiong and said to Liu Yaoyu, "I'll go see the eldest sister first. Second sister, you can talk it out with Miss Cui Wu." After that, she patted the back of Liu Yaoyu's hand and was about to go to the backyard.
Liu Yaoyu took Yu Jiao's arm, but she did not lower her voice, and said deliberately, "I have nothing to say to her. My sister went to their Cui Mansion the day before yesterday, and I don't know what kind of bullying she suffered. After returning, she locked herself in the room, refused to eat or drink, and just held Lingbao in tears and dazed."
Cui Qiong explained feebly, "No one in our house bullied my second sister-in-law. It was just some insignificant people who gossiped about her..."

After Liu Yaoyu finished speaking, she took Yu Jiao's arm and walked towards the backyard, no longer paying attention to Cui Qiong.
Yu Jiao winked at Jian Jia, who followed behind. After Yu Jiao and Liu Yaoyu went to the back house, she returned to the screen wall, handed a handkerchief to Cui Qiong, and coaxed her, "Our second young lady is the most protective of her shortcomings. Liu Yaoyu took Yu Jiao's hand and walked to the backyard, saying softly, "You came at the right time, go and comfort Sister."
"Mother went to my sister's room early in the morning, but she refused to answer any questions she asked, and she didn't touch the food she brought in."
Seeing that they were about to enter the wing room, Liu Yaoyu said no more, but raised her smiling face and said loudly: "Sister, look who's here?"
The room was a little dark and all the windows were closed. Liu Yaozhen sat on the couch, holding Lingbao in her arms. She did not look up and seemed to have lost her soul, as if she had not heard Liu Yaoyu's voice at all.
Liu Yaoyu squeezed Yu Jiao's hand and whispered, "Sister has been like this since she came back the day before yesterday."
Yu Jiao walked forward and sat down beside the couch. She looked at Lingbao in Liu Yaozhen's arms with some worry. Seeing that Lingbao was sleeping soundly and didn't look hungry, she breathed a sigh of relief and said slowly, "Big sister, I made a few small clothes for Lingbao. Can you try them on for him?"
Liu Yaozhen still looked dazed and didn't react at all.
Yu Jiao said gently, "Big sister, what's on your mind? Tell me and Second sister and I will help you think of a solution, okay? Don't dwell on this by yourself."
Seeing that Liu Yaozhen still had no reaction, Yu Jiao asked tentatively: "Is it related to my brother-in-law?"
Before she finished her words, Liu Yaozhen suddenly looked at Yu Jiao, and Liu Yaoyu beside her was startled.
