Having made an appointment with her father, Dr. Yan returned to the clinic.
"Sister Bai, why don't you stay for dinner tonight? The food is simple, please don't mind."
Lin Yuesha planned that the time to go to Changqing Academy after dinner would be just right, and she should leave some time for a leisurely meal.
"I don't mind at all. Even if you hadn't invited me, I would have shamelessly stayed."
Bai Youran smiled and was about to tell Ruyi about her tastes when Ruyi suddenly exclaimed, "Miss, someone from the manor is looking for you!"

Lin Yuesha understood that even daughters of officials were not free. She bid farewell to Bai Youran and prepared to return to her residence.
"Can I make a small request?"
Bai Youran whispered a few words to the head maid, then pulled Lin Yuesha aside and said, "My older brother is also at the academy. He's a bookworm and doesn't have much to eat at night. Could you prepare some of your snacks for him too?"
It would be inconvenient for Lin Yuesha to deliver it alone, so she planned to ask her older brother for help.

Young Master Qin was stumped by the question. He didn't understand what the poor girl in front of him meant, but he subconsciously thought that the girl couldn't say anything nice.
"It's about appearance."
Lin Yuesha held her head high and looked at the beady-eyed man with disdain.
Money can be earned through hard work, and knowledge can be acquired through learning, but appearance cannot. What you look like when you are born is basically irreplaceable later in life.
Honestly, having such a bad character and looking like that is really unfriendly to people with beady eyes.
