A pungent smell of alcohol wafted past, and Shu Wan frowned. If she hadn't been pulled back in time, she would have probably bumped into that person.
"Thanks."
Just after she finished speaking, a drunk man passed by. Shu Wan couldn't help but move closer to Huo Zhengye. She took a deep breath only after the man walked away.
With the continuous interruptions, Shu Wan no longer had the mood to watch the show. She just wanted to sit down and have a good meal.
When Wu Yanni led the group to the location, she discovered that there was a woman following Huo Zhengye. Her face immediately drooped, her eyes full of hostility.
The two sat down, and Wu Yanni handed the menu to Huo Zhengye and said in a delicate voice, "What would you like to order?"
Shu Wan was drinking water and almost spit it all out. Her face turned red and she kept coughing.
Huo Zhengye naturally took out his handkerchief, handed it to Shu Wan, patted her on the back, and said softly, "Drink slowly."
Shu Wan was startled by Huo Zhengye's sudden action. When did he become so considerate? She was not used to it.
Shu Wan wiped her mouth uncomfortably and said, "Let's order some food."
"Okay, just order whatever you want to eat." Huo Zhengye handed the menu directly to Shu Wan.
Shu Wan was not polite and chose a few dishes she liked, then handed the menu back to him, "I've ordered, you can order whatever you want."
Huo Zhengye closed the menu without even looking at it and said to Wu Yanni, "That's all."
Wu Yanni took the menu and turned to leave, but Shu Wan quickly stopped her, "Wait, add some stir-fried seasonal vegetables and pig's trotter soup."
Wu Yanni was a little impatient, "Can you finish it all at once? Is there anything else?"
The smile on Shu Wan's face faded, "No more."
Wu Yanni rolled her eyes and muttered as she wrote down the names of the dishes, "Ordering so much, you don't think it's a waste, what a waste."
Shu Wan looked at her indifferently, and her smile completely disappeared.
Huo Zhengye frowned and looked at her unhappily, "I didn't even know that you can't just order random dishes here."
Wu Yanni felt a little aggrieved. "It's a waste for a woman like her to order five or six dishes. And she is too selfish. She ordered so many dishes for herself without considering you."
Shu Wan was speechless after listening to this. From what standpoint did Wu Yanni say this?

"I just ordered it. I like it. What's it to you?"
Wu Yanni's chest rose and fell with anger. She suppressed her anger and said, "Comrade, your girlfriend is too uncultured and unworthy of you."

Shu Wan and Huo Zhengye were both stunned.
Shu Wan curled her lips. What girlfriend or boyfriend? They are not even friends. At best they are ex-husband or ex-wife.
Huo Zhengye's brows knitted even tighter, and he looked at Wu Yanni with cold eyes, "You don't have to take care of my family affairs. Why do you care?"
Wu Yanni's face turned pale after being stabbed. She could barely maintain her expression and was about to flee.
