Chapter 11 I'll do a checkup (1 / 2)

Shu Wan had been embroidering in the house for the whole morning. Her eyes were sore and swollen from the long and delicate work. Shu Wan put down her work and started to make lunch.

She was eating alone, so she cooked very simple dishes: winter melon soup and stir-fried potatoes with meat.

After lunch, Shu Wan didn't rush back to the house. She took out the chestnuts she bought yesterday, cut a cross on the bottom, and boiled them in water.

Twenty minutes later, take out the cooked chestnuts, peel and crush them, add appropriate amount of oil, sugar and honey, mix well, put them into the pot and stir-fry, turn off the heat after they are clumping.

Shu Wan has very skillful hands, which is reflected not only in embroidery and cooking, but also in handicraft.

With a pair of skillful hands, a large ball of chestnut cake was molded into the shapes of several small animals, including rabbits, tigers, cats, etc., which were lifelike and very cute.

When making chestnut cake, Shu Wan took a bite and found it sweet, soft and glutinous, but not greasy.

The job was done. Shu Wan put the chestnut cake into a plate and knocked on the door of Yu Chunyan's house.

It was Hu Zi who opened the door. When he saw it was Shu Wan, he quickly ran behind Yu Chunyan.

"Hu Zi, call me auntie." Yu Chunyan said.

Hu Zi's little hands tightly grasped the corner of Yu Chunyan's clothes, and he lowered his head and refused to speak.

Yu Chunyan brought Hu Zi to her and said with a straight face, "Do you know how to be polite? Why didn't you call out when the master came?"

Hu Zi said in a low voice aggrievedly, "Hello, Auntie."

After saying that, he went back behind Yu Chunyan.

Yu Chunyan looked at Shu Wan embarrassedly, "Hu Zi is a little shy."

Shu Wan pulled the corner of her mouth dryly. How could Hu Zi not be afraid of the original owner?

The original owner once snatched Hu Zi's candy and pocket money, and bullied him with his nephew. Afterwards, he twisted Hu Zi's ears and warned him not to tell anyone.

Although Shu Wan didn't do it, she was wearing the original owner's face after all, so she felt distressed and guilty when she saw Hu Zi.

"Sister-in-law, don't say that. Hu Zi is very well behaved. I was a little mean to Hu Zi before, so he is so afraid of me."

Shu Wan squatted down, looked at Hu Zi's little face, and said carefully: "Hu Zi, look, Auntie made a small cake to apologize to you, can you forgive Auntie?"

Yu Chunyan looked at Shu Wan from the side and couldn't help feeling emotional. Shu Wan had really changed and become more sensible.

Hu Zi was still very afraid of Shu Wan. There was curiosity in his eyes but he didn't dare to move.

Yu Chunyan opened the basket box and brought it to Hu Zi to show him, "What a cute little rabbit. Look, there's also a little tiger. Go and thank your aunt."

Hu Zi had never seen such exquisite dim sum, let alone eaten it.

Hu Zi looked at the cute animal snacks, then looked at Shu Wan who was smiling gently, and whispered, "Thank you, Auntie."

Shu Wan touched Hu Zi's head, and Hu Zi shrank back but did not dodge.

Shu Wan felt the soft and warm touch of her hand, "I have done many wrong things in the past. Thank you Huzi for forgiving me."

"Have some snacks." Yu Chunyan said with a smile.

As he said that, he stuffed a little tiger into Hu Zi's hand. Hu Zi swallowed and was reluctant to eat it for a long time.

"Mom, I can't bear to eat it, but I really want to eat it." Hu Zi's little face was full of confusion.

Yu Chunyan and Shu Wan laughed out loud, and Yu Chunyan simply broke off the tiger's ears and stuffed them into her son's mouth.

Hu Zi's mouth pouted. He was sad that the little tiger was injured, but the next second he was immersed in the delicious food and completely forgot about his sadness.

So Hu Zi nibbled the Little Tiger Chestnut Cake in small bites while holding back tears.

Wow, it’s delicious.

"Why don't you stay at home and rest if you're pregnant?"

Shu Wan almost spit out a mouthful of water, shook her head and waved her hands, "No, I'm not pregnant!"

Yu Chunyan's eyes were full of ambiguity. "You and Captain Huo have been married for almost a year. It's time to have a child."

Shu Wan's expression was stiff, and she said stiffly: "Huo Zhengye and I are still young, there is no rush."

They were about to get divorced, but they had a child. Do you think the domineering president ran away with the baby?
