Huo Zhengye lowered his eyes and pursed his lips slightly.
He almost forgot.
In order to avoid Shu Wan, he had desperately applied for missions, especially those with high risks. Now thinking back, he would rather be injured and hospitalized than see that face.

"You can choose to refuse," Political Commissar Lou reminded.
Huo Zhengye shook his head and refused silently.
He deserved it, and this mission was his atonement. If he could come back alive, it would mean that God had mercy on him, and there was still a chance for him and Shu Wan, and he would never let go.
"We'll leave in three days. Don't train these few days. Take a good rest."
Political Commissar Lou sighed. This mission was extremely dangerous and it was almost a life-or-death situation. To be honest, he didn't want Xiao Huo to be in danger.
"I will return safely." Huo Zhengye said firmly.

Huo Zhengye didn't say anything, but pursed his lips into a straight line for a long time before he slowly spoke:
"Don't introduce anyone to Shu Wan before the mission is over."
Political Commissar Lou nodded repeatedly, "Okay...Okay...Uh."
Suddenly realizing what was happening, Political Commissar Lou looked at him in surprise, "What do you mean by that? Do you still like Shu Wan?"
Huo Zhengye did not deny it.
"Since you like her, why get a divorce?" Political Commissar Lou was depressed.
Now that the divorce application has been submitted, it seems like they have no intention of withdrawing it.
Political Commissar Lou asked, "Could it be that Shu Wan meant it?"
"I was the one who originally proposed it, but later... I went too far in the past and broke Shu Wan's heart. She wants a divorce, and I understand." Huo Zhengye said.

A hint of smile appeared in Huo Zhengye's eyes.
"Okay, I think Shu Wan hasn't gone far, let's go after her."
Political Commissar Lou drove them out.
Shu Wan was on her way to the bus stop when a long string of horns rang out behind her.
She stopped and stepped aside to let the car pass.
There was no movement behind her, so Shu Wan turned around and saw a car parked on the side of the road. A man in a neat military uniform got out and came to her side.
"Get in the car, I'll take you home."
Shu Wan said nothing and refused silently.
Huo Zhengye seemed not to feel anything. His dark eyes looked at her quietly, as if he wanted to see her till the end of time.
Shu Wan was the first to give up. She asked, "It's still early. Don't you have to go to training?"
"The army granted me leave and let me rest for a few days."
As Huo Zhengye spoke, he opened the car door and let Shu Wan get in.
She got in the car anyway.
After all, it was the other party who saved her, so she couldn't just refuse coldly.
Shu Wan thought that she would explain it to him clearly when she got home that she had no other feelings for him and asked him not to worry about it.
However, the words were not spoken.
"In three days, I will go on a mission... Take good care of yourself during this time." Huo Zhengye looked at Shu Wan deeply, trying his best to suppress the deep reluctance in his eyes.
Shu Wan stood there in a daze, not reacting for a moment.
