Chapter 83 Grandma is missing (1 / 2)

"Didn't you sleep well last night?" Shu Wan noticed the dark circles under Huo Zhengye's eyes and couldn't help asking.

Huo Zhengye didn't say anything, just glanced at her, and his whole body gave off a very bad aura.

Shu Wan always felt that there was a hint of resentment in Huo Zhengye's eyes when he looked at her.

Could it be that it's too troublesome to ask him to come so early in the morning to get a divorce? But it's only a one-time trouble and you'll be relieved in the future.

If you can't figure it out, just stop thinking about it. You have something to do later, so get it over with quickly.

"Shall we go in?" Shu Wan said.

Huo Zhengye opened his mouth but said nothing and followed stiffly.

The two went in and submitted their divorce application. When they came out, they saw Xu Yang running over breathlessly, "Grandma is gone."

Huo Zhengye's face changed, "What's going on?"

"Maybe he had a seizure and ran away. We searched the entire compound but couldn't find him. Now we don't know where he is." Xu Yang said worriedly.

Huo Zhengye frowned, his usually resolute and cold black eyes were filled with anxiety.

"Grandma's matter is important, go find someone quickly." Shu Wan was no less worried than Huo Zhengye, and she took the initiative to speak when she heard the news.

Huo Zhengye looked at her deeply and said in a deep voice: "Thank you. If you have any news about grandma, please let me know."

Shu Wan nodded.

Huo Zhengye took Xu Yang away in a hurry, and his brisk steps revealed a bit of worry and haste.

Shu Wan was very worried. Grandma Huo was unfamiliar with the city of Haishi. What if she ran into a bad guy? Or if she fainted on the side of the road due to illness and there was no one around.

Shu Wan put down the work in her hands, looked out the window, a hint of worry flashed in her eyes.

I don’t know what the situation is over there, and whether Grandma Huo has been found.

The next day, Shu Wan came back from buying groceries and heard some noise coming from the front.

The direction was exactly that of her home.

Shu Wan's expression changed and she quickened her pace.

"Old lady, you've come to the wrong place. There's no one named Xixi here. It's very cold now. You should go home quickly."

Guan Meilin felt a headache when she saw the old man blocking the door.

"Did you hide Xi?" Grandma Huo glared.

Guan Meilian stamped her feet and said, "I really don't know that Xixi, old lady, please don't talk nonsense."

Grandma Huo didn't believe it. The cold wind made her short body even thinner. She kept shouting, "Xixi, where are you? I'm here to save you."

Guan Meilin was in a dilemma. She should have known she shouldn't have been so soft-hearted and let the old lady rely on her.

"Grandma!" Shu Wan shouted as soon as she saw Grandma Huo.

When Grandma Huo heard Shu Wan's voice, she stopped calling. She turned around and saw the person she was looking for standing not far away. She cried with joy.

"I'm sorry, my grandma came to the wrong address. Sorry to bother you." Shu Wan pulled Grandma Huo behind her and apologized to Guan Meilin.

Shu Wan was fair and clean, and spoke in a graceful and generous manner. Guan Meilin glanced at Shu Wan several times.

"You're welcome. We are all neighbors. I live at number 9. You can come to me if you need any help in the future," said Guan Meilin.

Shu Wan smiled and nodded, then took Grandma Huo home.

"Grandma, this is my home. That was someone else's home." Shu Wan pointed at her own front door.

Grandma Huo nodded.

"But how do you know my address?"

Grandma Huo chuckled and said, "It's a secret."

Shu Wan didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and quickly brought the person home, while at the same time thinking about contacting Huo Zhengye as soon as possible to ask him to come and take the person away.

Grandma Huo was covered in dust, and her hair, which was always neatly groomed, was slightly messy. No one knew how Grandma Huo got from the compound to the city, and where she slept last night.

Shu Wan sighed, boiled a kettle of hot water, poured it into the basin, soaked a towel in it, wrung it dry, and then wiped Grandma Huo carefully.

"Grandma, don't run around next time. Everyone is worried about you."

"Xixi, did they kick you out? Humph, it's better to live outside so you won't be bullied." Grandma Huo said angrily.
