Chapter 89 Nosebleed (2 / 2)

Having thought of a solution, Grandma Huo became more excited and began to search for the right person in her mind.

The next day, Grandma Huo had dark circles under her eyes and saw Huo Zhengye appear at the door. It was just a coincidence that she ran into a ferryman on the river.

Huo Zhengye had just finished training when Xu Yang came up to him.

"Mrs. Huo is doing well with Shu Wan, don't worry."

Huo Zhengye was washing his hands. He paused when he heard the words. The cold tap water ran over the back of his hands. He came to his senses and rubbed his hands vigorously, saying in a low voice, "That's good."

Seeing Huo Zhengye's lukewarm attitude, Xu Yang couldn't help but mutter in his heart. He didn't know who asked him to come and see Grandma Huo. It was fake to see Grandma Huo, and the real purpose was to see Shu Wan.

Xu Yang rolled his eyes, "Aren't you two divorced? I think Shu Wan has adapted very well!"

"We haven't divorced yet." Huo Zhengye couldn't help but retort, with a hint of unnaturalness in his eyes.

"The divorce application has already been submitted. It's only a matter of time." Xu Yang muttered.

To be honest, Huo Zhengye is in a very complicated mood right now.

Ever since he submitted his divorce report last time, he had been deliberately avoiding seeing Shu Wan, fearing that Shu Wan would ask about the divorce as soon as they met.

So he asked Xu Yang to go over and take a look. From Xu Yang's tone, Shu Wan didn't seem to be sad at all.

Huo Zhengye felt depressed and he applied more force to his hands, as if he was going to rub off a layer of skin.

"Old Huo, why do you look unhappy?"

"No." Huo Zhengye washed his hands, turned around and was about to leave.

Xu Yang turned aside to make room and whispered to himself, "Really? I wanted to talk to you about Shu Wan. Shu Wan is in trouble."

Huo Zhengye paused, then came back.

Xu Yang said with a smile: "Why don't you leave?"

Huo Zhengye looked wooden-faced, "It's not clean."

Huo Zhengye bent down and continued to wash his hands. After a long while, Xu Yang didn't say anything. He couldn't help but ask, "Go on."

The smile on Xu Yang's face deepened. He coughed lightly and spoke slowly.

Huo Zhengye listened attentively, not realizing how serious he looked at the moment.

On the day off, Huo Zhengye came over.

One was to come and see grandma, and the other was for the farm. He and Shu Wan had not divorced yet, and as a husband, he should help Shu Wan when she was in trouble.

He was thinking all the way and unknowingly reached the door, and he knocked on it in a deep voice.

When Huo Zhengye arrived, Shu Wan and Grandma Huo were both at home, so they opened the door quickly.

Huo Zhengye saw Shu Wan at first sight.

After not seeing her for a few days, her figure had become thinner, but her face was as white as jade and her expression was still as bright as before, as if nothing was worth mentioning in front of her.

Shu Wan was a little surprised to see him, but then she realized, "Grandma is sleeping in the room."

Huo Zhengye hummed, but his eyes still couldn't help but look at Shu Wan.

Why didn’t I realize Shu Wan was so beautiful before? She had big, round eyes with upturned corners, which made her look more charming. Her nose and mouth were small and delicate. She wore a light pink sweater, which made her skin look even whiter and more lustrous.

The sweater is slim-fitting and fits the body well, and when she bends over, her graceful curves are revealed.

Huo Zhengye only felt a heat rushing to his head, and he suddenly thought of the peach tree in his hometown. Every summer, the tree was full of heavy peaches, which were juicy and moist when he took a bite.

"You're bleeding."

With a cry of surprise, Huo Zhengye was stunned, and then he felt two streams of heat flowing out of his nose.

Huo Zhengye was both embarrassed and annoyed, his dark face flushed and steamed.
